Recently attempted to purchase a sigma lens from them. I've used them twice in the past with good results (all be it a bit slow), but now, I'm hugely regretting trusting them for a third time!

Order placed on 20/6/16, promised delivery within 5-10 working days. Emailed them repeatedly asking for updates, just get replies with their standard response that they can't guarantee when my order will be dispatched, they've got significant demands, etc, etc.

They will attempt plicate you by changing your order status regularly, so you think it's actually progressing - from stock allocation, quality assurance, stock allocated, awaiting dispatched, upgraded to priority, and so on. But this is all in vain. I've been waiting over 3 weeks, and alas, I've given up. I need the lens for a photo shoot next week, so I've cancelled my order and purchased from a reputable company.

PLEASE, I know they may be cheap, but chances are you will be hugely let down by this company, you'll have the aggravation of cancelling your order, chasing them for a refund, and I'm fairly sure based on other reviews I'll ultimately have to get a refund via my credit card company.

Don't let the price suck you in. The aggravation is simply NOT worth it, regardless of the savings. Spend the little extra, go with a UK company, with a proper manufacturers warranty (not the warranty that simply electronics offer), and enjoy decent customer service. I wish I had trusted my initial instincts.

Like everyone else on here i too am stuck in the endless loop of useless emails trying to get my money back from these scammers. Ordered a Drone from them on the 11/6/2016 and told 4-10 working days delivery, after about 10 days i started to read all the terrible reviews on here so i waited over three weeks, still nothing but endless useless emails promising "priority status" and phone calls to scripted robots. i then cancelled my order and I'm now stuck trying to get my money back like everyone else, Ive reported simply electronics to UK trading standards, HK trading standards, My Bank, HK Police and the makers of the Drone to inform them that this company is using there products as bait to lure us in.

Firstly, I thought I was buying Xperia Z5 with a fantastic price from a UK site. After completing the purchase I was told It would be delivered within 4-10 working days. Two days later I had an Email from DPD stating they had a parcel for delivery to me the following day, which never arrived. DPD said it didn't arrive to them. Alarm bells began to ring and I researched Simply Electronics to find that they are Base in Hong Kong. First I thought I may have bought a fake or it was a scam.
Anyway my phone arrived with DPD on the 8th working day 10 days after ordering. I'm really pleased with it and it is genuine. Only thing is if customs open the parcel you may have to pay import tax. I would order again and recomend.

I ordered on the 2nd June never received my order. Just kept fobbing me of with its on priority delivery give us 3 days. 6 weeks later no order. Luckily I used a credit card and claimed a refund. I don't usually review company's but I would like to warn people this company trades in Hong Kong with there trading laws.

I unfortunately have to agree with most of the other reviews, this company is full of cheats and liars. I've waited now almost 2 entire months for an order I placed, due to 'unprecedented demand' is what they decided to call it. It's unacceptable, I have asked for a full refund and if this isn't processed as soon as possible I'll take this matter further. The customer service employees may as well be robots with their tiered and scripted responses. I'm going to be much more careful with who I spend my money with in the future. Stay well away from this company.

Excellent service with quick delivery. The lens is superb. Sharp at all apertures and distances with good vibration control. Well pleased all round, would recommend totally.

Unfortunately, I have to award them a single star to write the review but I don't think they deserve any.

Placed an order around 5 weeks back. Delivery was promised in 2 weeks i.e. 10 working days. After waiting for 2 weeks, I just cancelled the order (have read the reviews on trust pilot by then).
Cancelled the order on 17th June (3 weeks now) and there is no trace of money or acknowledgement of money being returned to my bank. The customer service is pathetic as they just respond back with scripted replies.

STAY AWAY from them as they are a team of blatant liars. I would suggest other cheated customers to make a complaint to trading standards about the type of customer service received and also to the cyber crime fraud action team. I have done my bit but more the people report, more likely the action will be.

Great service from HK. Good telephone and email communications.

Did think I was ordering from a UK supplier though as credit card payment was Cardiff.

Please be warned!!!!!! These guys are scammers.do not fall for their scheme.I paid £485 for Samsung S7 Edge and 64gb Scan disk on the 26th of june 2016 and was told before making the payment that items will be delivered within 4 to 8 workings days.After 8 days,my account was still shwoing order being processed.called this company and spoke to someone who assured me that order will be dispatched before the 7th of july 2016.called on the 7th and was told to call back the next day which i did.Spoke to another lady who told me my order is being processed and will be shipped the following week then i requested for a refund if my order cant be dispatched today the 8th of july only for the lady to go off the phone.checked my account with them and there was no more trace of the order history in my account.they deleted wthe account and refused to refund my money.
please beware of this company!!!! Company is not based in uk.they are based in hongkong but use uk registered address to deceive unsuspecting customers.

Fast efficient service.

-Order an item on 24/06/2016, marked 9 in stock, became 8 after I ordered, also says normally dispatch in 2-5 working days.
-status changed several time, on 05/07/2016 it is still 'pending stock allocation'
-canceled the item because I don't believe them anymore, customer service are 'nice' but will never give you actual useful information, the only 'confirmation' I got is they know I cancel my order, but guess what, until now it is still says: Your cancellation has been confirmed. A refund request will soon be submitted, it says 'WILL', so it is still not REQUEST yet! Who I need to request to? They CLEARLY just want to extend the whole process longer!

Well, please check all other 'victims' here, all same pattern. They don't have the ability to deliver what they are advertising on their google ads which is everywhere and claiming cheaper than any other company, but they have the ability to hold their customers's money as long as possible, unless you use credit card or PayPal. Unluckily I was using my debit card, after reading all the 9 years comments of this fishy company, I'm expecting a long way to get my money back, or maybe never. This is not acceptable, something has to be done or more people will fall in their trap! IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT TO DO IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED!

I Ordered Nexus 6P on 31st May and after waiting for couple of weeks for delivery, i contacted them and cancelled my order. Every week when i call the contact center they promise me that my refund will be processed.
I asked them what is the problem with refund why is it taking time , the customer service guy told me even they cant contact the company they are there just to receive complaints and cant help me further.
This site should be blocked by UK authorities, So many people have lost their hard earned money.

Please refund my money if this message is read by the Simply electronics.

Simply Electronics seem to have a good Online Business Fraud business going and potential customers should stay well clear.

I ordered and paid for an iPad Pro on 24.05.16 and didn't receive it. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund on 16.06.16 and have still not received my money back. WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CRIMINALS.

I have notified the following authorities and suggest you do the same if you find yourself in a similar situation:

My bank - I have raised a dispute claim and am covered even though I paid by BACS and with a Visa debit card
Hong Kong Cyber Police - lodged a cybercrime report
Hong Kong Customs and Excise - lodged a crime report
Hong Kong Consumer Council - lodged a consumer complaint
UK Action Fraud that deals with online business fraud - lodged a cybercrime report

This website needs to be blocked in the UK. Simply electronics are literally making thousands of pounds an hour based on the lies that they tell potential customers either on the website, by telephone and by email.

Simply Electronics finally paid back my money on July 11th 2016 and I believe it is because of all the authorities I contacted. Please don't give up if you find yourself in the same situation. Also, I think Trustpilot need to look at the IP addresses for the 5 star ratings for this company as I don't believe they are legitimate (surely a company is not just very very bad or very very good....).

I made my order item No. 820407-1381579,18 May 2016 for a Samsung S6 Edge+ 32GB phone at £409.95. The phone was listed as "In Stock Usually dispatched in 2-5 business days" After several emails with their promise for priority delivery I looked again on the site 7 June 2016 (three weeks later) and saw the phone I was waiting for as available and showing 2 in stock. Thinking I had become stuck in some kind of administrative mix up I put in a cancellation request asking for a refund for this first phone. Because I am trusting I then ordered the phone again (a second time), expecting it to be sent to me within the 2-5 business indicated. Today as I write this review (7 July 2016) I have not received a refund which was promised on the first phone I cancelled one calendar month ago. Because I failed to receive the second phone I ordered Item no. 820407-1387633 and realizing this must be a scam internet company I cancelled this order too asking for a refund. I have not heard from the company since and I they have now received from me in total £809.90.

If you look at the maths the second phone (same was cheaper than the first time. I have looked on the site today and the same phone is advertised as in stock but at a much lower price, £332.95.

Yes as they continue to take money in return for no goods their keen prices are becoming even cheaper. Is the business plan to lure as many unsatisfied sales before the company disappears without trace completely.

I have reported to the UK Internet fraud squad telling them that this site needs taking down IMMEDIATELY so that more people than already the thousands (if I am not mistaken) are protected from being scammed as I have been. However, I see the site is running as usual offering fantastic prices for goods they just do not deliver or refund.

I believe I will never receive my money back and am much more upset to think that this company are still being allowed to operate. When will Bona Fida customers be protected from this compay ?

Simply electronics web site told me they had stock of Samsung galaxy S7 phones, so I purchased one. I was then told it would be delivered with 4 to 10 days, I gave it two weeks then tired of there excuses I cancelled the order. They then told me that they would return my money, and after another two weeks of generic responses and pathetic excuses. I contacted my bank and asked them to help me get my money back. You have been warned don't use this company, they will take your money the moment you place the order and will be in no hurry whats so ever to get your item to you, if you receive it at all.

I ordered 2 ipads from this company on 25th May which were advertised as being in stock. After several emails chasing delivery I cancelled the order on 21st June as they could not give me a delivery date. It is now over two weeks later and I am still waiting for a refund. Complete waste of time, just hope I get my money back eventually!

bought a phone that was supposed to be delivered in 4 days, after a month and 15 emails (all from my side), gave up and asked for a refund. After two weeks still waiting for a refund. They re NOT a UK company but some crappy company/scam in hong kong. My bad for not checking in advance. Just avoid

Here is how they operate:

1. They take your money.
2. 10 days later they tell you that they do not have the item in stock (even though their web site states otherwise).
3. When you cancel your order, they promise a refund in a matter of few days, but never actually refund anything.
4. When you ask about your refund, they wind you up that they have some technical difficulty, and that your case now has sky high priority.
Weeks pass by and... YOU NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY AGAIN!

Stay away from them!!! Don't be as naive as I was.

Thank goodness for MasterCard - they are getting over £850 back from this awful company.I ordered a Canon 7D camera body back in April. 3 months later and lots of email correspondence with Simply Electronics, but still no camera. Unable to give me facts about no delivery and why they had had my money for over 3 months. They get your money, don't deliver the goods, and gain interest on the money they have removed from people. Once Mastercard get involved, through their insurance and professional staff, my money was returned in a day and they chased Simply Electronics Commercial bank for the money. The commercial bank gives MasterCard the money back, and Simply Electronics are then indebted to their bank. Mastercard told me I was one of several people just that day for just that one operative who had bad dealings with Simply Electronics. I ordered the Camera body from a decent company and got it a few days later as promised.
