June 1, 2016 my money is collected by the society.
On June 24, 2016 no parcel expedier so I request cancellation and a refund of my order!
12 July 2016 still no refund and that despite my many recovery!

DO NOT ORDER FROM SIMPLYELECTRONIC! ! !

I looked at the reviews posted after I had made my purchase, which was a good £100 cheaper, and wished I hadnt placed the order. I waited with trepidation realising it was coming from Hong kong. I kept looking at the status of my order wondering if this was correct or not. But low and behold it was delivered. The camera was brand new and well packaged, I would be reluctant to place another order with them going off what the other reviews had said even though my experience was quite straight forward. It takes a long time for a company to gain back trust from customers after reading such bad reviews. sorry simply Electronics.

I'll keep it crisp - no phone and no refund after 1.5 months and still waiting at time of writing review.

Summary:
- Bought Samsung Galaxy S7 online after they came as cheapest on Google Shopping ( Google should ban them honestly)
- I immediately cancelled the order with them ( precisely 1 day after)
- They acknowledged right away that they did not prepare order and nor dispatched.
- For good every 5-6 days I had to raise a ticket to say that I want to cancel and they would throw a counter offer like free pen drive and blah blah. I always stuck to cancellation.
- Finally after a week they acknowledged that they would process refund.
- But how wrong I was in my expectation that they would refund me my money. Still waiting after 1.5 month and counting
- Next step - raising it with my bank !!

The item I bought was very good value, quite an expensive investment. Delivery was not quick, when the item arrived it was exactly as described in the sales information and was very well packed. I will buy from this company again.

Made a big mistake in not doing my checks before ordering from this company. They advertise they have the product in stock, and delivery is 2-5 business days. I have been waiting 1 month now for my order. They give everyone the same excuse delivery back log or whatever it is, then when you contact them they put you on priority, which is the case for all the customers. Do not waste your time with them, you are better of paying a bit more with another company. Now i have the task of getting my money back, hopefully i do! Stay well clear of this company! Will be reporting them to trading standards and doing my utmost so no other people falls victim to these scammers.

Purchased a Samsung S7 on the 09/06. Every time I ring them, they tell me they have a backlog and will get my order out ASAP, which seems to be never. Then they will put the order on priority, without understanding the definition of what a priority order means. As a word of advise use this number to call them (0115 871 4466) then the expensive 0844 ...

Finally, I lost patience yesterday and asked a lady about their cancellation policy. She said email us the cancellation and the refund would be processed in 7 days. After reading some of the reviews here I understand that the money only goes one way in their account.

Rang up my bank and asked them to process a chargeback. The gentleman there mentioned to me if you do not receive the good you ordered online within 15 days, you are entitled to process a charge back. After going through a few bits, he mentioned my money will be refunded and the process initiated by Visa. My card used was a visa debit, and bank is HSBC. Chargeback can be done on both a debit and a credit card.

Logged onto my bank and found my money refunded by HSBC and my order status on Simply Electronics now showing HOLD (contact us) which I won't do.

My advise to fellow buyers is to never use this company. If you are unfortunate and have already purchased an item, please don't bother getting a refund, just process a chargeback with your card company and hope for the best.

One word of advice - AVOID Them even you have to pay slightly high price elsewhere. I placed an order on 03/06 and they said the item will be delivered in 2 weeks time. After three weeks they changed the status to priority order and after almost 40 days, 11/07/16, I have to cancel the order. They kept on saying that they have delivery backlog and could not commit to firm timeline, but for new orders they published on site that they have stock available and they will deliver the item in 4-6 business days. They won't tell you about their complaint procedure and even in refund they said they will take 3/4 weeks. Worst experience of buying anything on the net. I am hoping that they will refund the money in time.
They are liars and do not value customer.

Avoid them and save your money

Had I read previous reviews I probably would not have used this company. Sadly I learned too late what they were like. I ordered a Sony smartband swr 30 for pretty much the same price as you can get them on Amazon. Amazon had none in stock and I was a little eager! With an estimated delivery time of 4 - 10 days that seemed a fair compromise. After 2 weeks and changed estimated delivery dates my order was "upgraded to priority delivery as soon as available". After another 2 weeks when nothing had changed I had to accept defeat and take it that my order was not going to arrive. I emailed to cancel my order and received a prompt response apologising for the fact that my order was not fulfilled in a timely manner and assuring me that my refund was being processed. Another two weeks on plus several emails and a call to their customer service and I still have no smartband and no refund. I note that they were exceptionally quick to take the money from my account when the order was placed. I am currently not by any means confident of ever seeing my money again and if you are reading reviews would strongly suggest you take heed of my and many other people's warnings, and buy elsewhere.

I can honestly say this is the worst service I have ever experienced. They took ages to reply to anything, they lied when they did. I bought a apple watch and they advertised in stock. Clearly this was a load of rubbish but they strung me along for about 2 weeks and then reverted the status on the website as order backlog. Previous notifications indicated it was ready for dispatch. I have now read feedback on the company and wish I had done so before - something I usually do but this purchase was done in a hurry. They are not UK based and operate out of Hong Kong. There is a clear scam going on - please purchase with a credit card if you do take the chance.

I believe that products sold through Simply electronics are likeely of good qualitiy. But in the case when a cancellation of the order happens (due to unreasonable delay with sending the product despite showing it being in stock) unfortunately I have a very bad experience with the company's attitude towards money refund. In my case it has not yet happen 6 weeks after the cancellation despite weeks long assurance refund has been put to "priority rank".

Unfortunatelly this refund issue has already been stressed out so many times elsewhere that I am very concerned with Simplyelectronics' evident ignorant attitude towards this matter and will probably consider ordering with the company only in the case of resolving the matter "with precedence" as it has been written in my status description for weeks now.

Still nothing but uneffective reassurances of the company that "my refund is on prioritiy rank" ... has been there for more than a month?!
Very unacceptable and disturbing attitude. Do not take risk buying with them!

Delivery took 10 days with no communication from the company and when it did come i discovered it was from China and came with an adapter for UK charging. If I had known this I wouldn't have ordered it

All went well -ordering is straight forward. Camera took awhile to arrive but no longer than the original projected delivery date, Contacted call centre by telephone for update on progress and very courteous and helpful.

Only issue is there is a slight hiatus when I did not know what was happening to my order, The tracking system on Simply Electronics website said .......order fulfilled and I was told I would receive contact from the courier. Nothing came from them - hence the telephone call. The camera arrived 30 minutes before the e-mail telling me it was coming

Great purchase. Rather slow delivery. Didn't know the package was coming from Hong Kong. However when the phone arrived it was great.

I've been trying to get my money back from them for weeks. As per other reviews, lots of communication regarding processing, chasing various departments but no refund issued.
I'm having to chase via other avenues...i.e. credit card etc.

Ordered a Samsung Galaxy S7 on 27th May. Delivery never happened despite several emails which all had the same response to do with not enough stock, backlog of orders etc worded in different ways,

I have tried getting my money back and got the same regurgitated drivel.

You speak to them on the phone and they "assure you" your money will be refunded this week but nothing ever happens.

I am still waiting - I have notified my bank, I have also notified trading standards and urge everyone to do the same.

I wrote two words in an earlier review which weren't expletives and Simply Electronics reported me to have it taken down - if only they were this efficient in giving us our money back.

Let's take these thieves down - and shame on Google for promoting them.

I ordered a Samsung galaxy S7 and paid £402 on the 23/05/2016, which was advertised as in stock and should take 2-5 business days. After 5 business days i checked the status and then emailed simplyelectronics to ask what was happening.....i did this many times over a period of 6 weeks with various excuses from them and as of the 11/07/2016 i still have not recieved a refund or my phone.

I would avoid this company at all costs, they are still advertising this phone as in stock...AVOID!!!

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy s7 on 24/05/16 for a cost of £402.50. By 6/6/16, the item had not shipped. When I contacted them, I was given excuses about backlogs. I advised them that I wanted a refund. I have still not received this, and they have had £402.50 of my money for 48 days. I have escalated this matter to the Consumer Ombudsman who are investigating. I can only imagine that this is a scam company that benefits from the interest from the money held on accounts, for orders that they never intended to honour. I am not confident that I will ever see my money again.

Order for Phantom4 placed in June, exactly one month later order still not shipped. Order progress shows as back-order, but website shows that hey have 14 in stock. Misleading advertisement, poor customer services. Don't be fooled by lower prices, they take your money and keep for unreasonable time, until they get reported to Trading Standards.
Update: Nearly 8 weeks later, still no show of merchandise. SimplyElectronics still advertise most of the items as 2-5 business day dispatch. The complaint is now with Mastercard international and I have recovered my money.
Don't be fooled by slightly lower prices, it's a complete waste of time...

If your ok to wait for goods. To arrive then order from them. You will not find cheaper then simply electronics.

I have eventually secured a chargeback against SE. Have to say my bank haven't exactly covered themselves in glory but we got there in the end.

If I live to a 150 I hope never to hear the name Simply Electronics again. I did try and send them an abusive gloating email yesterday, but unfortunately it bounced back, but for the record they are a bunch of robbing punts, whom I hope go and cook themselves up the hearth, and get everything that they have coming to them the shower of b'stards. Think you know where I'm coming from.

This company really are PATHETIC. I have spoken to Visa to see if they can reverse this charge and am waiting to hear from them. My understanding is they will ask for proof of delivery from these idiots and when they cannot produce it, refund me, but I wouldn't put it past them to fake it.

In order to pass the time, I now email SE every day adding a day on for each day this sorry saga drags on, I have also decided to keep repeating the same email several times each day, I must have sent at least 50 today, it's actually quite fun and therapeutic. I guess they don't read them, and will eventually block me, but hey ho, there you go.

I would have more respect if they put on their website that if you are foolish enough to enter in a transaction with this shower, and you subsequently change your mind, that they have NO INTENTION OF REFUNDING YOU. All they do is send you silly excuses, todays excuse is that there is a problem with their payment gateway. I guess this is in only one direction though and suspect payments going in are not affected.

I thought in this day and age there was more protection for the unsuspecting punter, but it has taught me a lesson to do a bit of research before buying on line. Will update again soon.

PS, I have to give one start as it is the minimum the site will allow. They are at least a minus 5.

I ordered a mobile phone through this company back in June. In this day and age you normally expect an order to arrive withing 2, 3, or 4 days, even if it is coming from abroad.

I had had the confirmation email, but no dispatch notification, so started to get suspicious. I emailed the address and received a response saying that there was a slight delay, and heavy demand but my order would be dispatched as soon as possible.

I waited another week and emailed again with broadly the same response, so then initiated a refund request.

It was acknowledged and I was given an estimate of 5-7 days, plus some time for the bank to process.

It is now almost 2 weeks and several emails backwards and forwards, but still no refund and i'm probably unlikely to get one willingly from them, this is otherwise known as stealing.

So, I have gathered my evidence and email trail and am off to the bank to ask them to do a reverse charge back. They might or might not, but i'm going to ask.

SIMPLY ELECTRONICS appear to have stopped responding to my emails, up to this weekend they had responded to them politely, thanking me for my patience. This has obviously run out now, hence my visit to the bank.

They have a number of people whom seem to respond, many with English names, but I suspect it is just the same person fobbing me and no doubt a lot of other people off.

It is true what they say, if the price looks too good to be true, it normally is and I wish I had read other pots on this so called 'company' before placing an order.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
