Whatever you do, do not buy from this company.
Ordered canon amera on 15th June, it hadn't arrived by 2nd July so I cancelled. Asked for a refund and I'm still waiting. Emailed a dozen times and just keep getting put off. Fortunately paid via credit card, so they've put a stop on me actually paying but no action from Simply Electronics

Ordered a camera on the 14th March 2016. No word from them so emailed on the 19th April to find out what was happening. Despite several emails (all answered with a rather generic looking response of apologies and promises of prioritising my order) today on the 25th July still no camera and no refund despite me requesting one! Will now report this as fraud and speak to my bank to recover money. Stay as far away as possible from these crooks!

I placed an order online with Simply Electronics for a Tamron Lens identified as 'in-stock', paying by credit card. The money was taken on the day of order. The lens had not arrived after the stated delivery time (10 working days) so I logged on to my account and sent a message of complaint, and received what I now realize was a 'stock' reply apologizing but answering my specific questions. Due to being on holiday another 3 weeks elapsed with still no delivery. I sent another complaint message asking specifically if the lens was in stock and if not when i would take delivery. Again I received a 'stock' reply with an apology for the delay but again no specific answers. With this I looked at reviews for Simply Electronics and realized this was common and decided to cancel my order, After 2 weeks I have not received my refund so will now contact my credit card for recovery of the money.
CONCLUSION - a very convincing website and company that may occasionally deliver, but not worth the risk - they obviously use this process to make money from holding your money for as long as they can.

I bought a Sigma 8-16mm lens, Nikon fit, from this company, for which payment was taken on the 3rd June 2016, and was promised delivery within the next 4-10 working days. After a month of waiting, I have sent several e-mails, and received prompt replies each time, which were nothing more than platitudes as it turned out. To my latest complaint, the answer was, that the matter had been referred to the relevant department, whatever that may mean. To this day I have not received notification of dispatch, although on their website they state that they have more than 20 in stock.
I am going abroad tomorrow and had ordered the lens for the specific purpose of using it during this holiday. If I had the money, I would go and buy it elsewhere, albeit at a slightly higher price, but since they have held on to my money since the 3rd of June, I am unable to pay for a second time. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Would recommend Simply Electronics to anyone. Very easy to order, was kept up to date regularly on the progress of my order. My lovely Canon camera arrived extremely well packaged, being informed constantly to the point of delivery. Well done Simply Electronics will definitely be using you again. 😀

Item wasn't dispatched on time.
Got worried and read these complaints.
Cancelled order... Twice! As I didn't want a free usb stick!
Notified credit card company of possible fraudulent behaviour.
After 15 days of Simply contronics blagging me off, I instructed the credit card company to retrieve the refund.
My credit card company refunded my money within a week! Thank you MBNA.

If you have ordered off of this company I suggest you keep every email and screen shot every standard excuse you will get on the website. Cancel your order immediately and after a week of excuses start a claim against them. Sending simply contronics threats will not work and they don't care. Even on here they reply with the same paragraph.

With luck your bank or card company will help you.

I won't go into too much detail but this company are thieves. I ordered a Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge on 23 Apr 16 and was willing to wait the 5-10 days for delivery but....you guessed it nothing arrived. I emailed and called the company several times to be told it was on priority dispatch. Eventually I cancelled the order on 07 Jun 16 and asked for a refund....you guessed it it is with the Finance Dept for processing. I have now run out of patience and reported it as cyber crime on the Hong Kong Police Force website and I am awaiting a response. This company should be closed down as they are committing online fraud and stealing people's money. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Do not use Simply Electronics. After receiving my bonus from work I decided to treat myself to a DJI Phantom 3 Standard. Therefore I shopped around to find the best deal, on google I stumbled across the cheapest option which was Simply Electronics.

Therefore I decided to place my order with them and was prepared to wait the 10 days they specified on their site, payment was taken instantly on the day of order --> 02/06/2016. Less than a day later I had an incline to look up reviews on them. After reading so many bad reviews I cancelled instantly before anything else took place.

Many many weeks later and tonnes of back and fourth template emails from the same 2 "Representatives" about how my refund is on "Priority rank": has brought me to the conclusion I am never going to see my money again. Which is not fair because that is my bonus which i worked for, and these people have taken that from me instantly and no hint of getting it back.

Save yourself the trouble and order from somewhere else. 100 pounds more and I bought one from amazon and got it the next day.

DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY.

Order placed more than two weeks ago, status changing every two days.
They do not respect there 2/4 days shipping policy.
No accurate informations, nothing has moved,
I gave them £2353 for nothing.
I need this equipment to work, not for leisure. On top of having all this money out, I can not work as expected.
This is not serious at all.

I ordered a Mac Book 24 May this year with a promise of 3-4 day delivery. Nothing came, I chased their Customer Service on email and on phone numerous times. They respond to emails and are on the end of the phone which is something but they never ever resolve anything!

After a month I decided to cancel my order (I used someone else and got same item next day) but guess what? Yep, no refund. Promised in a few days, not come, chased a couple of times and tonight they tell me it's due to an issue with their Hong Kong payments branch. Another excuse.

Feels to me like a massive scam. They are taking my money for over 2 months and are making money on it. They have said it will take up to another week but I am not confident. DO NOT use these people! So disappointed with this service, worst ever.

They use a payment front end called Skrill - don't go anywhere near it. Just flows money elsewhere in the world. They are professional scammers I think so STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

This is the first time I've ever gone out of my way to give an online retailer bad feedback. I placed an order with them on 10/5/16, it's now 21/7/16 and they haven't sent the goods I ordered or refunded me. I have sent them 13 emails asking for a refund and they have replied 13 times to say I should receive it in the next few days. I'm even getting to the point where I recognise the same wording in different replies - all promising a refund with their utmost apologies. STAY AWAY FROM THEM, pay the extra £20 or so and get better service elsewhere.

They're dishonest thieves plain and simple. Have now gone to my credit card company to get the money back.

Inaccurate delivery and refund information followed by very poor email and phone communication. Avoid like the plague!

Placed, my order, waited past the estimated 4-10 working days for delivery without any communication from them & order was still marked as "awaiting confirmation". Called them, eventually was told it would be processed soon and they were having issues with suppliers. I gave it a bit longer, they stopped answering the phone and when they did I got more "unexpected delays". I cancelled the order in frustration, was told it would take 10 working days to receive a refund, several days later received an email asking whether I really wanted to cancel (at which point they restarted the 10 days as far as I can tell). 10 more days later, I gave up trying to get a straight answer from them and asked my credit card company to refund my money. Several weeks later, my credit card company refunded my money as the retailer still hadn't.

Just don't waste your time and money with this company, I'm largely convinced it's a fraudulent company which doesn't actually delivery, but just holds money and makes interest off your cash for as long as they can hang on to it.

Alright guys I am another angry customer who can be added in this endless list.

Story is the usual one: paid for the item (which was advertised as in stock), never received anything and asked for a refund about 2 Months after the payment date.

3 Months have almost gone after that day and I still have not received my money back, only useless pre-formatted mails from the Customer Service.

I think I'll have to go through legal ways to get my money back and that's what I will definitely do.

To sum up in 2 Words: STAY AWAY!

Pay little higher prices elsewhere but be sure you will receive your stuff, while with these guys the only sure things are your money going away and nothing arriving at your door.

Great phone but time to deliver is too long

I ordered myself something on July 5th and over two weeks later it still hasn't been dispatched 16 days later despite the website now showing two in stock and a 3-5 day dispatch. I've contacted them over the phone on multiple occasions to be promised a call back with information which never came, or to be promised a dispatch within a couple of days which also never happened. They keep changing the "order status" on the website but it feels like that's just so that it seems that someone is happening as none of the updates relate to dispatch and all relate to a delay in proceeding the order.

Looking to get a refund now but I've already asked that question to the advisors and been told three different things regarding how to submit a refund request and how long it will take.

I'd never trust this company or recommend them, even their responses on here are just generic responses to all the complaints. Terrible company.

Over 2 months, i am still waiting for my product / refund / something.

Do not buy from here. They will charge you for the product and then receive nothing.... That 1 star given, because the zero rating is not available, is for the customer service team. They do reply the next day, just to be told a bunch of false and generic claims such as "Your order has priority in stock...." or "We strive to meet the estimated delivery time...." - hate to know what they're like when not striving.

I placed my order in May, and sent countless emails regarding my order. They will tell you its on their way (lie). Then after more emails, they will upgrade your delivery to priority dispatch (lie). Then after more emails, they ask you to be patient (???).

Patient? I ordered my camera over 2months ago!!!

Please avoid them, and pay the extra elsewhere. It's better than losing the full hit £350.

I will let you all know once i receive something.... but to be honest, you win simply electronics. you win.

In few words ... I've ordered 2 phones and I'm still waiting.
I've send around 12 emails, made formal complain twice.
Spoke to customer service three times as phone line wasn't working for over month ... no luck, no help.

After two months they told me that one of the phones I've ordered can't be delivered as they run out of this color (on the website it was available to buy but they didn't care, bother to change it even after my emails pointing it out). They offered me alternative colors - black, thats it!!! ... and they want me to pay extra 9 pounds as price on webside changed since I bought it ... unaccaptable and rude!!!

I refused to pay and still waiting ... :-/

Like so many others I have been duped by the cheap prices offered by Simplyelectronics and seemingly been scammed by them.

I have actually used them before around 18 months ago to buy a phone which arrived a little later than promised but was fine and working (not to mention cheaper than elsewhere), so knowing this I was willing to use them again.

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S7 phone in May for £413.95 with an estimated dispatch time of 10 days. 3 weeks later with no sign of the phone I inquired about the status and was told there was a significant delay. Despite this happening last time as well, I decided to cancel the order - the more bad reviews I saw, the more worried I got. I was offered a '8GB Square Key Shape USB Key (Silver) as a gesture of goodwill' but declined and said I'd like to cancel anyway and was told a refund would be issued in 'a few working days'.

Jump forward to mid-June and despite various email correspondence with customer services I've still yet to receive a refund. I've now passed the information along to my credit card provider and trying that route. Not holding my breath on whether I'll ever see the money again.

DO NOT USE THEM. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE, SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND BUY FROM A REPUTABLE SOURCE.
