Slow to respond
Slow to respond, with layers of paperwork, sometimes online and sometimes offline, sometimes both. Had to reconfirm my identity as they lost it all after the acquisition. It's just never simple to deal with them.

A shocking company
A shocking company. They demanded unnecessary paperwork from me after my husband's death from terminal cancer. I had to "prove he didn't commit suicide" to pay HIS PENSION!! Not life insurance HIS PENSION. After watching my poor husband suffer horribly and die in the way he did, I had to "prove he didn't commit suicide". It was traumatic and deeply upsetting. These people are awful.
They refused to release funds without the "proof", which would leave me destitute. Payment was finally promised 5 WEEKS ago and I am STILL WAITING.
This is sharp practice and abuse of the vulnerable. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE.
EDIT.
At the time of their respnse stating payment had been made, it had NOT. IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN MADE.
