Our family has held a "Health and Wealth Plan" originally sold by Clerical Medical (now administered by RL360 Services) since the early 1990s.

The policy was presented as a long-term financial and retirement solution. Over time, approximately USD 67,000 was contributed.

As of 2026, the current surrender value is approximately USD 25,656.

Over the past decade, the value has consistently declined, and we have received correspondence indicating that the plan may no longer be sustainable and could eventually lapse with no value.

This outcome raises serious concerns regarding the long-term structure, sustainability, and suitability of this type of policy for retirement planning.

We have formally raised this matter with RL360 Services and escalated it to the relevant regulatory authorities for review.

Sharing this experience for transparency and to understand if others with similar legacy policies have encountered the same issue.

We hope RL360 Services will provide a fair and reasonable resolution given the circumstances

I invested in RL360 Quantum 10 years ago. So far, I made 1.1% return on all I invested, knowing that the fund manager does not take a commission. I let you make your own opinion.
RL360 answered the review above and asked me to contact them. I did contact them using the email address they gave me and got an automatic reply that they will answer within 5 business days. Great reactivity!! Now, it has been 6.5 business days and absolutely no news! I start to get worried for the money I invested with them!

No complaints from me. Made an ad hoc withdrawal from my SIPP which was not urgent initially, but when it did become urgent, it appears to me that RL360 treated it as such.

IFGL are inept professionals in my view. My experience has been exasperating. The left does not know what the right is doing. I decided to withdraw some of my pension in 3 installments. It was alike to a clowns act with errors and delays strewed everywhere. I'm still waiting for confirmation for the change of beneficiary. I enclosed this in May 2025. I've written on several occasions. Still no confirmation. Feb 2026. Avoid like the plague.

Terrible service, horrible product with super high penalities and overheads, extremely rigid bureaucratic/paperwork process, and top it all with unprofessional support overall. It was so painful for me to get my money out of them. I'm so glad to be able to say goodbye to them forever. Never again!

Still waiting for an offshore bond to be assigned so I can take out the funds, as instructed in November 2025.
RL360 waited over a month before requesting a letter of instruction, and have stated that they have NO Service Level Agreement for when they might do anything.
So, we've had no progress for 7 weeks, and there is no timeline for when we might get our money.

Having decided to close 2 policies some time ago, I was finally advised by email on 11 December that I would receive two separate payments within 5 working days. As of today I have only received one of the payments (first wasn’t paid until 5 January!). I sent a formal complaint on 7 January regarding the missing payment, and a week later I still haven’t heard from RL360, only receiving an automated acknowledgement. I now intend to contact the Financial Ombudsman Service.

RL360 have today replied on here that they cannot find my policy number - it’s probably because it’s 2 months on from my Trustpilot review and it’s all been sorted and the account closed! One department doesn’t know what the other is doing and this proves the point.
With regard to my original complaint, for reader’s information, RL360 admitted that the reason I didn’t get the missing payment was due to human error at their end and I eventually received some compensation from them. It has been a long winded and drawn out process.

All I can say is that RL360 is an appalling financial services company and should be avoided AT ALL COSTS. I requested a small withdrawal from my fund through my financial advisor 4 months ago (4 MONTHS!) and despite COUNTLESS chasing emails they have still yet to process the request.

Unless you enjoy complete uncertainty about access to your money (which I have taken the liberty of assuming very few people do), you should avoid them at all costs.

If I could give this company a negative star, I would. 30 years ago, I was young and naive and a "friend" sold me a policy with Scottish Provident Intl, thru M&A, I've ended up RL360 client. There was long tie-in period before I could surrender without penalty so my experience has been poor investment performance, ridiculously high charges and abolutely crap client servicing. I don't understand why this company is still in existence. So buyers beware, do your homework as there are some reputable, trust worthy providers out there but stay away from RL360!
Update on 13Jan2026 to respond to RL350: check with Alice from your HK Client Service team. She has all of my details.

It starts with a financial advisor approaching you for off-shore investments, and it sounds promising. But the advisor is basically a scammer (in my case from the deVere Group) misleading you with outright lies to get you started on your investment and cash in their commissions.

In my case I explained deVere group that I had some funds that I wanted to invest for a period of 4-5 years, by which time I would need them for relocation. After a lot of back-and-forth discussion I was informed that the right product for me was a 25 year plan with a 2-year lock-in period with mandatory deposits after which I could adjust my deposits and withdraw funds as needed.

I deposited as agreed for the first 2 years and requested to stop further deposits after the two years to just let my investment sit until I needed the funds.

9 years later the fund has overall lost money because of the exorbitant admin fees (currently at roughly 7% per year), and I have been informed that if I want to withdraw my investment I will be penalised with 75% for early closure.

In short, I can either wait another 16 years for the policy to expire and see if there is anything left at all from the admin fees. Or I can close it now and accept a 75% loss on my investment. All I want is to withdraw what is left of a failed investment, but they wont allow that.

All along, when talking to RL360 customer service a few years ago I am being informed that this is deVere groups fault for advising me fraudulently and RL360 do not give a shit about my situation. They just take you for a ride you cannot get out of, and eat your investment up with fees. Leaving you broke!

Worst company in the world for financial services. They have had my money now for over 2 weeks and it is still not invested in the market, so I have lost out. Do they care not at all. No apology no communication. If I could avoid them I would. This was in 2025.

An update they have done it again. Had my money for 14 days and it is still not invested and the contact at RL360 has gone on holiday. Rob Allen hang your head in shame your company is not fit for purpose. Fix it this date 16th April 2026

Every time I try to place a trade with RL360 there are problems. Today my advisor sent an instruction at 13:42, I phoned at 14:34 and was told it had been received and would be actioned immediately. Hours later I was told no email was received, only for it then to be “discovered” after I forwarded it myself. I was even given the excuse that it had been blocked by a firewall — despite the fact that a staff member had already confirmed seeing it earlier.

The trade still hasn’t been placed, and the stock price may already have risen as a result. No updates were provided to me, my advisor, or the trustees.

This isn’t an isolated incident — every single time I’ve tried to trade with RL360 there has been some issue. The level of unprofessionalism is staggering for a company entrusted with people’s money.

Easy to used, importand if you can develop an app.
