I had some investments in Hansard, for around 7 years. I ended up losing money sadly. Although it might have benefits for being in Island of Man, I believe probably their services does not fit all profiles. I ended up losing a considerable amount trying to get the money out when I realized it was not worth enough compared to other services

I have been with Hansard for around 7 years now. My advisor has done pretty well apart from one bad year in the markets. They have a large fund selection and a 21st century platform which allows me to track my investment in real time.

Nearly 4 months after I provided all the documents to withdraw a small amount, I am still waiting.
Deals were settled in January, in February they asked for more due diligence on documents sent three months earlier which was provided. 2 months after the deal was instructed and seven weeks after it was settled, I am still waiting.
Don't ever put your money with them if you might need it quickly.

Quality product, flexi payment plan, better returns and less expenses on cost of accumulation than other competitors

Zero communication. My policy matured six months ago and they never bothered to inform me. When I wrote to them, I have been asked to jump several hoops...I await the outcome. I would note the only five star reviews are by their salesmen

I have been trying to withdraw some of my money from my portfolio by wire transfer to the U.S. for over a year now. Each time, I am denied and am asked to provide additional data or documentation. After I do that, another denial comes for a different reason. It has been so exhausting.

After realising that the retirement fund we had invested in was a scam with fees higher than returns, we took out what we could, and were forced to leave the rest behind. The policy was marked as 'paid up', no further funds going in, with a future date when it would pay out upon my retirement. My so called financial advisor from De Vere (another company that i will be leaving a 1 star review for) never informed me that there would be any problem with allowing the fund to 'sit' until it matured. Then I was sent a letter (which I never received) informing me to take some action or the account would be closed without compensation. Of course, i didn't take action, as I didn't receive said letter (you would think something with such important content would at least be sent by registered mail), I received further notification that the account was now closed (over 30K Euro was there). I am absolutely lost for words, and furious for believing these so called professionals who have never done a thing to help me. DO NOT invest with them!!
