Andy said got home keep flashing all the time and the dashboard can’t turn it off for the distance for crash. Keep bleeding all the time and still can’t update the whatever program on the dashboard spent two days cleaning the car properly and found a dead bird in the grill at the front that I’ve been there a couple of months what do you think so your people don’t even check it over properly I’ll chewing gum in the back of the armrest

Where do I start!!? Spoke to Roz in the week and agreed to visit all the way from Leicester on Sunday. Myself, my wife and 9 year old wake up 6.30am on Sun tired but excited for the long drive ahead. Get there around 10.30 and was sitting around for 30 to 45 min, clearly you were busy and Roz did warn me there would be some waiting around. Then the bombshell, THERE IS NO CAR TO SEE!!! I thought it was a joke, me and my wife looked at each other shocked, my 9 year old daughter crying. Roz informed there was an issue with the vehicle and it was with the dealer. Shocking lack of professionalism from Saxtons that I wasn't informed of this before I travel 3 hours to see it! On top of that to be told there was absolutely NO negotiation on the price which is very high and a big stretch for us, and look this week a few days after our visit you drop the price by 1300! This has left a bitter taste. We were ready to do a deal on the day so such a shame. This experience has left us scarred and will avoid larger dealerships in future stick to smaller family run companies who will value us and get better value deal and customer care. The car in question was 2021 green Defender 90.

The car was delivered on Monday night. It was not taxed and there was no green new owners slip for me to tax it so could not be driven. The last 2 cars I bought the dealer has taxed it for me, I paid, I managed to tax it myself once I received an email from DVLA
I have still not received the invoice for the purchase.
I was quoted £1500 for delivery, which I managed to arrange myself for £550. So would appear to be a way of making more money from the purchase

Helpful and polite sales people. The info about the car on the advert was wrong but Andy did everything he could to get all the information I asked for. In the end I got a nice motor for a fair price.

I recently bought a Volvo XC90 from Saxtons, I was served by Ismail who was very helpful through the process. I had a load of follow up questions and nothing seemed like too much trouble. When I picked up the car up it was immaculate. I would deffinately buy from them again.

A painless used car buying experience from Saxtons. I arrived without having made an appointment, but the staff were very accommodating and found the vehicle I wanted to see (this is clearly a popular dealership, so I can understand some of the other comments about wait times and staff being extremely busy with customers etc). Stephen got the vehicle out for me, gave me plenty of time to assess it before allowing me to take it for a test drive. There were a few cosmetic details that I asked them to address, they were happy to oblige, and i collected the car a week later. There was the usual offer to purchase additional addons, which I declined, and that was that. Pretty straightforward.
Luke was particularly patient with me on the day of collection.
Given the experience and supply of stock, I would happily use Saxtons again for a future purchase.

Great choice of cars
Poor timekeeping, if you make an appointment, be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes before being seen. I have made several appointments over the last couple of months & was kept waiting every time.
Staff are always busy & don't have meuch time to be helpful.
