I made a booking paid for flexibility…

I made a booking paid for flexibility read the terms attached which said I would receive a full refund if cancelled within 31 days . Had to cancel the booking and they brought in different terms mentioning 61 days . 80% refund +charges this is ridiculous as it never came up on the terms when booking . Stay away do not book . Further to the response I contacted the ferry company Stenna directly they told me the 61 days was nonsense and was in no part in there terms and conditions as Go ferry stated below . Nothing more than a cash grab from me stating false terms and conditions.

We understand that, in your case, there appears to have been confusion arising from the information you found in our FAQ section, which you also forwarded to us by email.
The FAQ provides general guidance and states that, in most cases, cancellations made up to 31 days prior to departure may qualify for a full refund. However, as clearly indicated there, this information applies to most bookings — not all.
Each reservation is subject to the specific terms and conditions.For your particular booking, the applicable cancellation policy required cancellation at least 61 days prior to departure in order to qualify for a higher refund. These specific terms were displayed in detail before payment and formed part of the booking confirmation. Once a reservation is completed, the fare rules cannot be altered by our company. At no point were different terms introduced after your booking. The refund issued was calculated strictly in accordance with the cancellation policy attached to your confirmed reservation.
We appreciate that cancellation policies can be frustrating when plans change. Nevertheless, each booking carries its own individual conditions, which are presented prior to payment and cannot be modified afterward.

Excellent: real people accepting challanges, solving problems!

After several very different, and sometimes quite frustrating, experiences with ferry booking agencies over the past few years, Go-Ferry is finally a resounding success, especially when it comes to communication and accessibility! They employ REAL PEOPLE! People who actually a) have a phone (!), b) answer the phone, c) can listen and speak, and... most importantly d) resolve problems that can sometimes arise with tourist service providers abroad... Excellent service! I'll definitely use them again.

Tres bonne expérience

Tres bonne expérience, j'avais annulé un voyage (option non remboursable mais bien modifiable) et effectivement 3 mois plu tard j'a refait une réservation et Goferry à refait une nouvelle réservation, je n'ai eu à payer que le supplément par rapport à la réservation initialement annulée. Très bonne prise en charge et très bon contact avec le service.

Go-Ferry gave me easy booking online, and then Janna helped me correct my error

Go-Ferry was extremely helpful in setting up a ferry booking between Athens and Hydra; I booked online easily. However, I erroneously booked one day earlier than I intended, and that's where Janna came in: She helped me correct the error and rebook the trip, all via email (given the 10 hour time difference). She was terrific, and I thank you, Janna!

I strongly suggest goferry

I strongly suggest goferry for the simple and most important thing, in my opinion, in the travel industry. They’re extremely professional and HUMAN (for gods sake with all those chatbots nowadays). When you are planning your vacation many things can go wrong and there you need a strong company to support you. I found my solution at goferry and I am totally satisfied. Also, they have a huge network.

I would like to thank Nikolas for reviewing the reservation I made and discovering I made a mistake and booked two separate cabins when I only needed one. He called me within 15 minutes of making my reservation to point out my mistake. He corrected the reservation and issued a refund for the second cabin. I was very impressed with the personal service provided.

Huge and non-transparent fees

I booked a ferry trip from Piraeus to Heraklion. The ferry itself cost €44, and Go-Ferry charged another €26.09 (37%) as a non-transparent fee. Contrary to what they claim in their response here, this was not a flex fare surcharge but, according to the invoice, a "service fee".

I requested an invoice on December 26th. Go-Ferry did not send it until February 11th! At first, the employees dismissed me in a slimy manner in their emails, and when I insisted on my demand, they switched to an aggressive tone.

Go-Ferry also repeatedly attempted to have my negative reviews removed from various platforms. When those attempts failed, the company threatened me in private correspondence.

We could track your booking and registered that you have booked a flex tariff. This tariff comes with more flexible cancellation, amendment and support conditions and, thus, is a bit more expensive than an economy tariff. All this information is displayed during booking without the need of ever reading the small print of the terms section.

We apologize for not sending timely your invoice request. There is, off course, no other reason for this delay rather than the increased bookings we receive during your booked period due to the early booking offers we provide.

The 10% discount is still available for you - even if you book next time an economy tariff and/or an early booking discount. This way you can get a really great offer!
