Great experience.
We were recommended Adam at Galaxy cruises by a good friend and fanatical cruiser and we have not been disappointed.
We booked a 7 day cruise from Barcelona to Lisbon last year which we depart in June 26 on.
Adam provided an efficient and professional service throughout the whole booking process and as a result we have just booked another cruise for may 27.

I recently made an enquiry about a cruise and had the pleasure of dealing with Jacob Lewis. He was extremely patient and took the time to guide me through the best options, particularly in relation to flights and selecting the most suitable cabin for my needs. I also appreciated his reassurance that Halal food would be available, which was an important factor for me.
I’ve used Galaxy Cruise several times over the years, and my experience with their customer service continues to be very positive. Based on my interactions so far, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I booked a cruise to Japan with a well…
I booked a cruise to Japan with a well known cruise travel company. Paid the deposit. Only to come across the same cruise advertised with Galaxy cruises considerably cheaper. I chatted to Adam from Galaxy who was extremely helpful. He put together the like for like itinerary immediately . Confirmation email ect all sent immediately after paying the deposit. Just looking forward to the cruise next year and hope everything goes as smoothly as the booking process. Many thanks Adam.

On arrival to our hotel in Memphis
On arrival to our hotel in Memphis, we were told we couldn’t stay there as the National Guard had booked the hotel since October. It was now end of January. The receptionist told us not to worry and she would phone round to get us a room. It was late and we were tired. This took 90 mins, waiting in reception. As it was late it was difficult to get a taxi so some of the National guard took us in there vehicle. On arrival at the holiday Inn we had to pay for the 2 nights stay, even though we’d paid everything upfront. We were also told that the hot water may not be working. Throughout our stay there was no hot water which wasn’t great as it was down to -9oc at times. It took almost 2 months for galaxy cruises to refund the hotel cost with no compensation. I would never book with this company again.

I understand how upsetting this must have been, especially after a long journey, being told your booked hotel could not accommodate you, then having to wait late at night for alternative arrangements. I also appreciate how uncomfortable the replacement stay must have been without hot water, particularly in such cold weather.
This was not the standard of service we expect for our customers. Please be assured that as soon as we received the refund from the hotel, we processed it straight away back to your original method of payment. I appreciate that the matter took almost two months to resolve and understand why this added to your frustration. The timescale was due to the supplier’s refund process and normal banking processing times, which were unfortunately outside our control.
We have raised this matter with the supplier concerned and are sorry that this experience affected your confidence in booking with us.
This is the 1st time that I am using…
This is the 1st time that I am using Galaxy cruises. There were a few issues with the booking, however after a few phone calls Brian was very professional in resolving the problems. Thank you Brian

Terrible communication and lots of errors
Up until we paid the final balance for the holiday, everything was good. Brian had done a good job of selling us the cruise and our review at that time reflected that experience. Unfortunately everything went downhill rapidly after we had paid in full.
Communication was dreadful. What we did receive was littered with mistakes. Wrong flight times. Wrong passenger names. Flight times changed so that instead of a 2 hour wait for a connecting flight, it increased to 14 hours with no accommodation. We were given incorrect information on meal plans and no information on transfers.
With only 13 days to go before the holiday I had to email a list of 20 questions about information I hadn't received. Totally unacceptable.
When we arrived in Florida we had a dreadful experience with the taxi transfer. We complained to Galaxy Cruises. They used the same taxi company to transfer us to the Cruise Terminal. Unfortunately it didn't turn up. This was very stressful as we had a time slot for boarding. We ended up paying $100 to get a taxi booked by the hotel. Galaxy had failed to give us emergency contact details for Florida even though I had requested them.
It took weeks of constant complaining before Galaxy finally refunded this money.
We also had to pay over $70 in hotel taxes that we had not been told about.
We didn't know that this was a group holiday but when we were leaving the cruise and transferring to the hotel in Lima we realised that we were in a group of 23. Many of this group had experienced the same issues as us regarding Communication and taxis not turning up.
This was an expensive holiday, all of which I could have booked myself. The reason why I used an agent was to ensure that the transfers went smoothly. I'm very disappointed that I spent so much and received such poor service.
I would definitely not recommend Galaxy and won't be using them again.

This is clearly unacceptable, and we completely understand the anxiety this would have caused, particularly with a boarding time to meet. While I’m glad the cost was eventually refunded, it should not have required repeated follow-ups from your side.
Your comments regarding the undisclosed hotel taxes and the lack of communication about travelling as part of a group are equally important and will be reviewed internally. It’s concerning to hear that others in your group experienced similar issues, and this will be investigated thoroughly with both our team and our local suppliers.
We genuinely regret that your experience did not reflect the level of service you expected, especially for such an important and high-value trip. Your feedback has been shared with the relevant departments so we can address these failings and prevent this happening again in the future.
