I do not recommend this service
I waited 3 months for the phone and had to pay for 3 months
The phone is second hand
The one they gave me had the screen freezing. I had the bad luck that it fell out of my pocket and the phone broke the glass and the next day it turned off completely.
a device of poor quality. I have another phone that the screen broke and 3 years ago it works perfectly

don't waste your money

Absolute scammers take your money but when it comes to a claim they pawn you off on a 3rd party (Davies Group) who are so inefficient it took 3 months and a lot of repeated phone calls, emails and heartache to eventually get a replacement Laptop while son without one for school for 3 months. They also tried to pawn me off with a €400 settlement at one stage!! Gadget were absolutely no help when I contacted them to sort it out, a bunch of money takers with no back up or customer service, would have been better off putting the money in a savings account to cover the cost!! would not insure anything with them, all the good reviews on here are people who have not had to make a claim yet! Make a claim and see what a company you are really dealing with as they dont want to know you then and just keep blaming the Davies Group even though you pay them and your insurance contract is with them, they are just a front for the exercise of taking money!

I recently on 7th November initiated a claim for my mobile phone through gadgetinsurance.com. My claim was then handed over to the Davies Group who I subsequently paid the excess for my claim on their instruction on 9th November. It is now 24th November and I have received no further instruction on how to get my device repaired. Tried unsuccessfully to contact Davies several times by email and have only received automated email after automated email. I called gadget insurance today to be told that the claim has nothing to do with them and that I would have to contact Davies which I find strange as it's gadget insurance I pay my fee to. Not even an offer of we will look into this for you. I got though to Davies and spoke to an advisor who seemed to care very little and just mumbled about me getting a notification within the hour, 17 DAYS after I first put in the claim!!. I find this service utterly unacceptable and unprofessional having been a customer of Gadget Insurance for quite a number of years. I'm sure when and if and do finally get instruction of the next steps it will take further 7 to 10 working days which is completely unacceptable!.
If this is how Gadget Insurance will continue to look after customers in the future I will be taking my business elsewhere. I have also emailed the addresses below and have not received one reply!.

Absolutely shocking process. Submitted my claim regarding a stolen iPhone while abroad. Submitted claim on.6.11.23. Submitted all relevant paperwork via email by 8.11.23 due to repeated requests for the same information from Gadget. It’s now the 23rd November and despite my claim being finally approved on the, I am still without a device. Don’t bother wasting your money insuring your device unless you can manage to do without its replacement for up to a month. Absolute nightmare. Staff on the phone were nice that’s about it. Undue delay in process at every step. Will never use again. You’d be better saving a few euro each month to cover any incidents.

Excellent customer service when I called to insure my new phone. The person assisting me was patient, friendly and answered all my questions.

Aggressive sales tactics. When I turned down their policy bc I already had coverage they actually called me back and yelled at me. Jean Santoago was extremely unprofessional. Be warry of this company and their deceitful sales tactics. If you do decide you want mortgage insurance I would choose a different company. Disappointing behavior all around.

Easy to set up , have used a few times but never had to claim , easy to cancel as well and quick communication

Changed my insurance from my old phone to my new phone without any hassle. Rang up and a wonderful Gentleman in Gadget Insurance sorted it all out for me.
