Used this provider before for my son’s phone had to make a claim and they replaced the phone you don’t get a new phone obviously a reconditioned one , found the excess a bit steep considering you could probably buy a decent phone for the price of the excess

This insurance company is a disgrace!
Avoid!
Extremely upset and frustrated that having been a loyal customer for years, I had to claim due to my iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB becoming water damaged.
Apple confirmed my phone was damaged beyond repair. I provided mobile phone insurance direct of proof of this from apple, along with Apples quote for the new phone of the same age which was over £650.
After paying mobile phone insurance direct my £120 excess and all the proof from apple, ‘nickie’ got back in touch and said the phone settlement is £460. They based this off one private seller on Amazon who had terrible feedback and appears not legitimate.
I showed proof of the exact same phone being sold at £560 on back market from reputable sellers with thousands of good feedback, but as mobile phone insurance direct found this random seller providing a phone cheap, they declined to offer any more. This was also ignore the fact Apple price the exact same phone with the age etc over £650 and back market selling for over £560.
Mobile phone insurance also don’t take into account the condition of your phone, or the fact I could provide proof from Apple that I just purchased a new battery from their store for £85 a few weeks before the phone became damaged beyond repair.
I raised a complaint to dispute this and ‘Jordon’ just responded with a final decision of no. Very poor customer service.
AVOID USING THIS INSURANCE COMPANY! They will happily take your monthly payments but when you claim they will rip you off massively.
EDIT: this company literally sent me the Amazon link that they decide to valuate the phone on to the exact penny. They cannot be trusted

Very great mobile phone insurance provider with exceptionally low price to insure precious smartphones like mine for 5 years in a row.
The service is amazing but it would be nice if they will allow me and anyone to add a device bought 2 or 3 years ago I have proof of purchase. It’s what it is.

Paid for two years won’t cover tablet when damaged
Paid for two years, have the device order acknowledgement from Amazon, but as it doesn’t have the serial number they now won’t cover the repair of my tablet or return my two years of payments.

Great service and price

Price is competitive for comprehensive insurance package, however I have never had to claim for insurance yet so am unable to comment on customer service in this respect.

I took a picture with another phone, as per their instructions, showing the screen with the IMEI info; they checked, and the email response stated: "damaged". So Robotic and no reason provided, and how do you state such when the screen is visible, and the info is available.
