Me:I don't understand why you can't give me the version I paid for, I've had no issue with other software I've paid for, they were happy to help.
Can I not have the version I PAID for?

Older versions are not available due to security update implementations but if by any chance we provide you the old setup, it won't be going to work due to these updates by google.

Me:You should make it clear before you buy that the software becomes obsolete after a few years.
If I had of known that I wouldn't have bought it.
I'll do without the software now and pass this information onto Trustpilot for others that may be thinking about buying this software.

Bitrecover:Our product license is perpetual and comes with all future upgrades and customer support free for 1 year. After 1 year you will not be able to upgrade further but the last upgrade and the license key will work for a lifetime.

In case any major update comes after a year it is mandatory to upgrade the program in order to work for our users.

There are many email clients like Gmail, Office 365, Outlook etc made a lot of changes and we have incorporated the same in our product new version.

Why we incorporate the security protocol update of email clients in our program:

When Google discontinued the Less secure app option Gmail's normal password no longer works with any 3rd party applications now users will have to generate an App password in their Gmail account and use the same App password as their Gmail login password in Third-party applications to perform backup/export of their Gmail emails.

Same Microsoft made changes in their security protocol by disabling basic authentication, now Microsoft API was used to connect office 365 accounts. So we have updated our program with the same changes.

If any user uses the older version of the program they may encounter huge numbers of errors.

So this is the only reason we ask our users for the version upgrade. And older versions are no longer available with us due to the update in the security protocols of the email clients.

As a goodwill gesture, we can offer an additional 10% discount on the renewal.

Me:Thank you for the information, but I'm not going to purchase something that becomes obsolete.

I have almost 50 GB of emails and couldn't figure out how to move them to my laptop. I tried over and over and finally bought Recover Tools Thunderbird Migrator. I tried to use it by myself over and over and finally did what should have done from the start. I contacted Recover Tools, set up an appointment. They sent me a link to TeamViewer, I downloaded it and sent them the login and password. Shimona was unbelievably helpful!!!! Gave me options, explained things, answered my many questions. I should have bought the Tool Recovery sooner and called them sooner for peace of mind. They are customer service in the first degree.

Actually responded to my questions and fixed my error in buying the wrong product in minutes, that's odd these days. Great work.

Okay, so I was a bit worried about RecoveryTools/Bitrecover, but seriously they're crazy responsive and there is no other tool like Kerio Migrator available at this price point. And affordable in this case doesn't mean not reliable. I've done all but one of my Kerio -> M365 migrations with Kerio Migrator. The one I didn't use was a nightmarish slog of PST exports and imports.

Seriously If you're looking at Kerio Migrator, I wouldn't hesitate. I use 365 IMAP migration for the mail, then on a cutover weekend I use Kerio Migrator for just Contacts, Calendars and Task items.

I needed to migrate emails for a not for profit. After reaching out to the support person, Shimona and after disucssion I was pointed towards to a more cost effective option that fitted our budget and our needs.

I downloaded this software last week because I needed to get my folders from Outlook into Yahoo email. I was having problems and on Sunday 9-11-22 John helped me.
