I purchased a product to back-up my email and I was concerned because I am not good with technology, and the last time I purchased something like this (another company, obviously) I got scammed. This product was user friendly and excellent! I even made a mistake and caused a server issue (that was on me) and reached out to support. I got a gentleman named Peter who quickly (and patiently) got me where I needed to be. He asked questions that were spot-on, gave me clear directions, and fixed my issue quickly. I have never experienced such excellent customer service, and it was even through chat! Wonderful company!

Purchase was very easy, but the product at first did not produce the requested output. I contacted support, and almost immediately they were there to help me and delivered a solution within hours and I got the expected results. Excellent job, Every penny worth it.

I made the wrong download. Stoooopidly, I ordered & downloaded the Windows version … for a Mac. I contacted support and within an hour they had answered (on Sunday!) and given me the wherewithal to download and activate the right product. Amazing service!

Purchased the wrong version of the application. Needed Mac. (Got the Windows version since their site defaults to Windows. ) Discovered I didnt need it in under 10 minutes. Support tells me I am not eligible for a refund under their 30-day money back guarantee.
So to quote Tommy Boy, the only thing I purchased was a guaranteed piece of (censored.)
Do not buy this product. Google a different converter like CubexSoft PST Wizard for Mac instead.

I'm posting this to help others avoid the frustration I've experienced with BitRecover PST Converter Wizard.

What I needed:
I am in the process of moving from Windows 10 to Linux, because I refuse the surveillance of Windows 11 and that Windows 10 is at end of support leaving me vulnerable to hackers.
I am trying to transfer my contacts from Outlook to Thunderbird, using BitRecover PST Converter Wizard. BitRecover promises to convert then to clean vCard files.
I trried the demo and it seemed to work, so I bought the full product.

Problems with the product:
When I tried it on my contacts (about 4300 of them), it was a disaster, and I had several issues :
issue 1 : Only a small fraction of the photos were transferred. I estimate only 10 to 20%.
issue 2 : in a contact there is a free form "Notes" field. When this field contains a single line it is transferred ok. Where it contains several lines (like 20 or 30 lines, like our journal of interaction with a client), then it is truncated.
issue 3 : special characters such as accented characters : é, ç, ù, are garbled and appear as ascii code. Cyrillic characters are also garbled.

Customer service issues:
I contacted support and asked for a refund, as they advertise a 30 day money back guarantee.
The trick is that they demand that I spend time with their customer support in helping them improve their product.
I have already wasted a lot of time in trying to make their product work. I do not want to spend more time in helping them improve their product for free. I am not paid for this.

How I solved my problem:
I used Claude AI to create a conversion python software. In 30 minutes my problem was solved.

I cannot recommend this product.

I recently needed a program to convert Evernote notes to Word Docs. I found Bitrecover Evernote Converter on line and downloaded it. I have an Evernote file 175MB (very large) I tried converting after purchasing the software and it didn't quite work. It worked with smaller files just fine. I contacted tech support who had me try numerous things to try and fix the issue over chat support. He had me send the file to tech support so they could work on it further to figure out how to get it working. They did!!!!!! and in a very timely manner. I'm so happy!!! I'm very pleased and satisfied with my purchase and the great support I received! Excellent product, company and tech support!

I needed to move my Windows Classic Outlook contacts to my new MacBook M5 - and struggled with the import. Using MacUncle's PST Converter did not work properly at first. But their Support (thanks Adam) worked with me directly, and eventually updated the PST Converter software. The import worked perfectly. It's rare to find such determined support these days and I appreciate their sticking with it.

I had a huge MBOX file (44GB) that needed to be transfered from one account to another. And that was too much for the upload quota. So the service team took care of it and did the migration in 3 days for me. Great!

Matthew in particular was fabulous and I am beyond impressed with the various tools that have been created for specific applications, and the customer service to help get it all set up. And they have document prompts etc. Highly recommend.

This software works. My late mother had about 445 Gmails in her account.

They are still there. What her estate has, thanks to the Email Backup Wizard from BitRecover, is a complete sorted set in downloads on her machine, another set on a usb stick, and another on an archival optical disc. All of these match, and they should be useful for Probate.

And the entire process took less than three hours, and about 850Mb of space. And, it appears that the entire archive is searchable. Thank you so very much!

One point that may be of help, if a user has the Trial Version installed, remove it, restart your machine, install the paid version, activate it and 'access to your email account worries' are gone!
