Great customer service.
Great customer service from Yorkshire Building Society staff. I opened an easy access cash ISA. It was easy to open. I booked an appointment first as that is the best way forward. I then had plenty of time to go over my application for a cash ISA account. I am happy with the staff and would recommend this building society for their excellent customer service.

Not impressed by the level of security…
Not impressed by the level of security undertaken for existing customers each time they open an account. To make things worse, then have to wait 2 weeks before the account can be used.

Thank you for your feedback - I am sorry to hear that you feel this way, but it is important to know that accounts are only opened by genuine applicants. The account can be used within two weeks, it is only withdrawals that are not permitted in that time period.

Outstanding Customer Service
I rang the Customer Services Team and spoke to Jake, what an amazing lad he is. So polite, professional and competent, he stayed on the call while I could access my online accounts again. It was so nice to speak to someone in Bradford as well. We had a brief chat afterwards and put the world to rites! Jake is such an exceptional talent to the Customer Services Team, I hope he goes far in the organisation. It was so nice to speak to a lovely young man.
