Extremely disappointed

I have been trying for weeks to get in contact with SunGod customer support after I was sent the wrong sunglasses. Zero response. The AI answers with all the reassuring correct answers, but no human ever contacts me after AI said they would ensure a human would be in touch in order to rectify the problem. I’m leaving to go on holiday and especially wanted the sunglasses I ordered for my trip. I’m so disappointed with the customer service. Something which shouldn’t be my problem, has become a big one, due to receiving an order which is totally unsuitable for me.

Poor Customer Service

Ordered from Sungod, they shipped quite quickly. But the parcel went missing (Evri). I contact Evri CS and Sungod CS to inform them. For weeks the Sungod "bot" has been saying they will ship another one out, and nothing has happened. Now I've asked for a full refund, the "bot" said they'll get someone to contact me. No one has, there's just radio-silence from Sungod.
Absolutely shocking Customer Service. Still chasing for a refund (almost a month since the order).
Won't be buying from them again!

Awful customer service & Lifetime Guarantee

Lovely sunglasses, terrible customer service.

My husband and I each bought a pair of Vulcans in November 2024. When I lost an ear sock and contacted the team to claim a replacement under their Lifetime Guarantee, I just got radio silence — chased twice, zero replies.

Their Lifetime Guarantee is worth nothing if no one responds to claims.

When my husband needed new sunglasses after an accident at Strade Bianche, he didn’t even consider this brand.

Sort out your customer service.

I ordered a custom pair of sunglasses…

I ordered a custom pair of sunglasses for my wife on the 28th April. I paid more for next day delivery as the site stated if I ordered within the next two hours I would receive them the next day.

The glasses are for our wedding anniversary which is on the 10th May.

I hadn't received the glasses by the 5th of May. I sent an email as there isn't any other way of contacting them. I got an AI response asking me several questions. I then got an email from an agent informing me that the colour ear socks I'd selected wasn't on stock and there was a glitch on the site. I asked what colour ear socks were available. I got an AI response back which wasn't helpful as it asked me what the issue was again.

I have been back and forth with the AI emails and waiting for an actual person to contact me. I got another email today from AI asking what the issue was. I have asked for a phone number honey don't have one.

I still don't have the glasses and it's now the 9th may and I haven't had any information about what colour ear socks are available for me to replace the original colour which was white a real uncommon colour.....

The customer service for sungod is shambolic. This is the first pair I've ordered and it will definitely be the last. If it wasn't for the fact my wife wanted them I would have cancelled the order.

I can't understand something so simple to sort out is taking forever to resolve.

Absolutely dreadful

Absolutely dreadful.

Sunglasses arrived faulty. The frame won’t attach to the lens properly. I believe the lens is broken.

The product feels indescribably cheap. In line with a pair of plastic safety glasses I bought from Screwfix for £5.99.

I can only assume 95% of what you pay is to cover the Lifetime Guarantee. Which you’ll probably need, because they are dreadful.

I think they could send you 10 pairs of replacement glasses and they’d still turn a profit.

Worth noting; SunGod expects the customer to pay the return postage on faulty products. I don't think they are familiar with Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Don’t waste your time on what is nothing more than fancy marketing and Instagram.

Terrible Service

Terrible Service: Undelivered Order (SG-1105164) & terrible customer service

My order for trail run sunglasses (SG-1105164) is over a week late, long past the "1 additional working day" delay promised on April 27. I still have not received the product.

The most frustrating part is the failure of customer support. The AI agent, Sol, repeated automated troubleshooting steps several times that didn't help.

May 5: I requested a human and was promised a reply within 3 working days.

May 7: I received a generic, unhelpful automated email, forcing me to re-escalate.
Sol confirmed this second escalation, resetting the 3-day wait time.

I have been forced into a double 3-day wait (6 days minimum) just to get one human update on an order that remains undelivered. This is truly awful customer service.

Great products but awful communication with AI Agent ‘Sol’

Love their products but having the worst experience trying to get a new rubber nose piece that was lost. Their people are great but their AI agent Sol is painful to communicate with. It’s not a positive experience.

The experience was quite…

The experience was quite straightforward. Viewed and reviewed the glasses on the website. Got them ready in my cart. But before pulling the trigger I saw how many here were complaining about delivery issues. So, I figured I might as well pay for DHL next day delivery as I got myself a 20% off voucher from a partnership campaign. And, as a back up insurance, I I used a credit card as they were two pairs totalling above 100£. Speedy packing and delivery next day. Overall, quite happy with the transaction, delivery, and quality of these glasses. Wouldn't say it holds a candle to my Oakleys and Ray-Bans, but for the price they charge, its value is undeniable.

Absolutely unacceptable service

Absolutely unacceptable service. I paid for my order and waited patiently, yet the goods still have not arrived on time. What makes it even worse is the complete lack of customer support no updates, no accountability, and no one available to resolve the issue.

A company can have a good product, but if they fail to deliver and ignore customers after taking their money, the whole experience becomes terrible. This is by far the worst after-sales service I have ever experienced.

Can't find out where my order is

I'm still waiting news of my order from April 20th - not prescription so said they would arrive last week, well before the birthday I'd bought them for. No sign of them last weekend, Evri tracking says they're still waiting for them. Email says at the bottom to reply if any issues. Emailed back but it's a 'no reply' one. Emailed customer support - AI reply said wait 3 working days - that's been and gone. Just hugely disappointed and frustrated. Says if I email again my message may be pushed further down the queue- so what am I supposed to do?!

No item and no communication + update

Update:
Sungod have now replied and resolved the issue in a good manner so I've updated the review to reflect the overall. It's understandable for there to be courier issues (especially Evri) however I do think it would have been a much better customer experience to make us aware and issue an update that there was an issue rather than leave it weeks.

Terrible Customer Services

This company produces great products but the worst customer service. I ordered glasses through them, had delivery issues where by the courier service waited over 7 days for them to be dispatched. I proceeded to contact them (on numerous occasions) and constantly got told by their AI customer service bot someone would get back to me and no one ever did. To this day I’m still out of pocket with no glasses and no one has contacted me multiple weeks after initial order.

No update, no product, no customer service

Ordered from them before and had no issues. Bought another pair of sunglasses recently but had a totally different experience. A week later and still no confirmation the item has been dispatched, try contact them and get hit by a AI responder that is no help at all. Don't seem to be getting anywhere with them. Feels like I've been scammed, wouldn't recommend using and would personally shop elsewhere due to this experience

Good sunglasses but appalling service

I have used their sunglasses before and they are good, last well and generally are worth the money. However, god forbid that you put an order in and expect the same to be delivered within the delivery window, you will be greatly disappointed. As if to add insult to injury, if you try to contact them online, you get put through to unhelpful chat bot that will advise that it will take four days for a human to respond to you. It is clear that once they have your money they do not care about you as a customer any longer.

SunGod do not care about Customer Service - Avoid!!

As soon as SunGod have your money you will never hear from them again!
Two weeks after receiving a despatch confirmation I still haven't got my order. I've emailed several times and had 11 (eleven) AI responses which have achieved nothing but frustration. It's impossible to contact a real person. I'm going to have to charge back through my credit card.
Useless - do not buy from SunGod!

Customer service is terrible!

Customer service is terrible! My parcel arrived with a hole in the side and nothing inside! The courier Evri have accepted responsibility but a refund/replacement has to be sorted with the retailer. SunGod have proved IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of despite trying multiple times via multiple emails addresses and via their website. Very frustrating as not a cheap purchase
