Raytec- best of the best.
I’ve been using different brands of under floor heating for my bathroom and kitchen company for around 16yesrs, However I will be using Raytec from now on.
The quality of the product for the price is just unbeatable. I had lots of questions this time round as for the first time a customer wanted underfloor heating with laminate flooring NOT tiles. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful, sorted everything that was required and made my job a lot easier.
Lastly Once ordered the flooring arrived with in 2 working days which is a great turn around.

First time fitting underfloor heating…
First time fitting underfloor heating and It was easy peasy using the Rayotec sticky mat. I ordered a bit too much but I just separated the heating wire from the mat and extended it around the parameter of the floor.

From the start very impressed with information received from Faris he helped me a lot with questions I had, apon laying the heating mat found out I was 2.5mts short couldn't get to speak to Faris because he was on holiday so Stephen spoke to me sent him my plan which he said the mat I had received was the right size but said I should have left a space of 200mm round the edges although I have a email from Faris telling me it requires a gap of 150mm then told me a should have left gaps in the mat all over to cover this shortage which meant I would have to rip it all up again because I didn't know it was short till the end, after a very good start with Faris ended poorly with Stephen no apology for what is there mistake

I’m very sorry to hear that you were not happy with our service, unfortunately I was off ill when you sent your enquiry in, but I understand Stephen picked this up for you the next day.
We recommend heating mats that cover 80-85% of the free floor area. Depending on the shape of the room and how compactly you fit the mats, there can be a gap at the end of the room. This could have been easily resolved by spreading out the mat or by fitting a small 1m2 mat next to the larger mat.
Unfortunately, in your case you poured self-levelling compound over the heating mat before speaking to Stephen which makes resolving the issue more difficult. In hindsight, if you were unhappy with the coverage, it would have been better to have spoken to Stephen before covering the system with a levelling compound so that we could have suggested some easy and simple solutions.
It may still be possible to fit a 1m2 heating mat next to the current heating mat to get perfect coverage. If please in touch if that’s something that you would like to do.
