Absolutely disgraceful customer service
Absolutely disgraceful customer service at the Planet Tax Free desk at Dublin Airport. There were 4 women working at the desk, I tried to get help from two Asian women and one blonde woman and the attitude from all three was appalling.
From the moment I asked for assistance, they were rude, arrogant, dismissive, and extremely condescending. Instead of doing their job and explaining the tax-free process, they simply told me to “throw the papers there” and spoke to me as though I were stupid for even asking a question.
I have rarely encountered such blatant disrespect from people whose job is literally to assist customers. Not one of them made the slightest effort to help. Their tone and attitude were insulting, humiliating, and completely unacceptable.
Planet Tax Free should seriously investigate who was working at the Dublin Airport desk and address the way customers are being treated.
Absolutely unacceptable. I would give zero stars if that were an option.

More than 40 days passed and i didnt…
More than 40 days passed and i didnt get my Tax free refund. Moreover, i was chocked that my refund tracking number is not found, so i had to do the refund process second time after 40 days since i submitted at the airport!!

I had a wonderful experience at MXP…
I had a wonderful experience at MXP today with Valeria & Yulia! They were so helpful and attentive for quite a long time helping me troubleshoot how to get my refund. I was missing one of the necessary papers from a vendor outside of Italy, and they helped me secure the paperwork quickly through the electronic app, and got me on my way with my refund just in time to make my flight.

A Very Complicated and Confusing Refund Process
My experience with Planet Tax Free was quite frustrating and, compared with other tax-free providers, I found the process unnecessarily complicated and confusing.
I was unable to complete the refund process when I left Spain. After validating my tax-free forms at the airport, it was not clear what I needed to do next or where I could go for assistance. Unlike other tax-free companies, Planet Tax Free does not have a clearly accessible customer service office in Madrid where travelers can get help in person.
Once I returned to my country, I had to search online myself to understand how to complete the process. I eventually created an account and submitted everything correctly, but I still experienced several issues with my refund. The system repeatedly showed that my card details were missing, even though I had already entered them and had also provided my card details when making the purchases in Spain.
I had to contact customer service by email to resolve the issue. The main positive aspect of my experience is that, once I finally reached customer service, they were very responsive and provided prompt assistance.
Overall, I believe the refund process should be much clearer and easier to navigate, especially after the forms have already been validated at the airport.

Requested a Tax Free refund of €1,806…
Requested a Tax Free refund of €1,806 for a purchase in Italy. Planet's own tracker shows status "Processed and Sent" for form 38010217803369382043, but nothing has ever arrived on my American Express account — confirmed directly with Amex, who have no record of it. Their phone line is out of service, and their online enquiry form only re-confirms the status instead of letting you report non-receipt. Weeks of trying to reach a real person with no resolution. If your refund shows "sent" and hasn't landed, check carefully — this seems to be a recurring issue.
