Le montant remboursé de ma détaxe…

Le montant remboursé de ma détaxe s'élève à 50% du montant indiqué sur mon bordereau. Après avoir contacté le service des réclamations, on m'a répondu que c'était normal alors qu'il est bien indiqué sur le bordereau que le montant de la détaxe tient compte des frais de gestion. C'est inadmissible !

Suggestions on tax refund track

On the website, I can easily track the status of the tax fefund progess. However, I think it would be much better if:
1. there is a way to toggle between hiding and unhiding the complete card number where the refund money is to go to. This balances privacy and conveniency.
2. it can display the below aware message in stead of just showing "Refund completed". I have no elsewhere to know and expect an latency (up to 10 working days) between Refund Completed and I actually receive the money in my card.

These above two are frequent source of my unconfidence and self-bothering. Hope it helps.

Planet tax free put me in trouble…

Planet tax free put me in trouble because of some updates with app/database. I was unable to identify my cc however after long waiting process and sending mail customer care unit (Marta Palazuelo) was very helpful and completed my refund. Thanks so much to her but not to planet tax free!. Planet tax free should have at least inform customer about their updates.

Amazing amazing assistance at Planet counter by…

I was met at the Planet counter by Fabiola who was most helpful and friendly in helping me with my refunds. Upon finding out that Chanel had made a mistake in printing out my passport number, she proceeded to assure me that I have plenty of time to sort it out before my flight leaves.

Fabiola exuded a very calm demeanour and processed all my other refunds and helped with customs check. She then emailed Chanel to reprint the invoice with the correct passport number.

As the refund was quite a big amount, you can imagine my anxiety at not being able to get the invoice reprinted and emailed on time. Fabiola told me to go and do all all my check in and immigration and assured me that her colleague inside the boarding area has been informed and will expect me at the counter once they receive the reprinted invoice

It was t too long after that Fabiola WhatsApp me to inform me that the invoice was received and that Martina was waiting for me to process my refund.

I had another lovely experience with Martina who helped me to process my refund and assisted me with customs checks on my goods. She stood next to me to ensure that I was ok throughout.

As you can tell by now from this feedback, I am already a nervous traveller by nature and to have to mange all this confusion was driving my anxiety to high levels.

I am so ever grateful to Fabiola and Martina for the most amazing assistance I have ever experienced in any part of the world. Please send them my gratitude.

I love Rome. And will be back again very soon !

They do not accept IDs

They do not accept IDs. In Europe, people use IDs not Passports and they don't carry a passport to a shop. So the shop assistant scanned the ID but Planet Tax Free does not accept receiving money when presenting ID, only passport. However, ID is officially accepted by the border control. This is unacceptable.

Suggestions on adding bank card information

The service staff can quickly assist in resolving issues. It would be ideal if the bank information could be completed directly when filling out the tax exemption form. For foreign customers like us, discovering that the bank card details were not added upon returning home and having to contact customer service later can be quite troublesome
