Question on the refund amount
My refund reference number is 30010165864046501691
After shopping in Athens, I processed the tax refund at the airport. The refund receipt I received clearly states:
Total Gross Refund: EUR 29.05
Total Fee: EUR 1.25
Total Refund: EUR 27.80
However, the final amount I received was USD 26.72.
You previously explained that the refund was issued in USD because your system identified my credit card currency as USD. I accept this explanation. However, my concern is that the refund amount itself is incorrect.
Regardless of the currency used, USD 26.72 is clearly less in value than EUR 27.80. Therefore, I believe there is a discrepancy in the amount refunded, and I would like you to explain how the final refund amount of USD 26.72 was calculated, including the exchange rate and any additional fees or charges applied.
I have contacted you several times regarding this issue, but so far, no one has provided a clear answer to my question about the amount discrepancy.
I am very dissatisfied with the way this issue has been handled. Please investigate this matter carefully and provide me with a detailed explanation of how EUR 27.80 was converted into USD 26.72, and whether any additional fees or unfavorable exchange rates were applied.
I look forward to receiving a clear and specific response.

Planet tax free refused to work at the airport in Portugal and the app was also not well formatted with no English options. The website was fine overall but the planet tax free overall experience was pretty frustrating.

I was unable to locate a refund that I had expected a few months ago, and, after contacting Customer Service I got immediate confirmation of my request, and just moments later, the details of the refund! (Which I verified on my credit card site). Excellent response - problem solved!
