Bought a Vivienne Westwood watch with a leather strap from this company, it was allegedly over £200. Within 14 months of occasional wear the watch strap has completely de laminated, contacted customer service, they instructed me to send the watch back and they would forward it onto Vivienne Westwood. I sent it back at the cost of £6.25 to myself, I was then informed that they had sent photos of the watch to Vivienne Westwood and it was declared as wear and tear. Firstly why did they ask me send the watch in when all they needed were photos and secondly wear and tear!! I have never had to replace a watch strap within 14 months through occasional wear and I work in construction, my fiancée is a beauty consultant!!
I may as well have bought this watch from Trotters independent Traders, I’d have got the same level of customer service and warranty, I shall never be purchasing another item from this company again.

I placed my first online order with this company earlier this week paying for 48hr tracked delivery meaning it would arrive either yesterday or today at the latest. This morning I've received an email saying the item ordered isn't in stock... I don't understand how the order could've gone through in the first place if that's the case, but I also don't understand why it took so long for any notification to be provided. Having phoned customer services this morning I was told stock wouldn't be available for another few weeks which isn't an option as the order was a gift for an event tomorrow so I've had to cancel the order and request a full refund. I'm so disappointed.

It's a very relaxed feeling in the shop and you have time for perusal before chatting about a timepiece. In my own case I normally put the watch against five or six others to make sure it's not an impulse buy. This is no effort at all for them often introducing other models themselves.
There's a fantastic selection of brands there and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Definitely worth the journey to Coventry.

This company exceeded my expectations. I returned a watch for a refund - my own had finally turned up at Stansted Lost Property - and not only did they immediately refund me the cost, but they also didn't even charge me for P&P. What a brilliant company! They are so kind. I'll know where to go next time I need some jewellery...

Bought a Swarovski starwars figurine £130 cheaper than anywhere else arrived well packaged 48 hours later. Fantastic company and delighted with my purchase.

I ordered a Hamilton Kaki Field 42mm. The watch was delivered on time and was beautiful. Unfortunately, the lug width meant it was a tad too big on my wrist and I returned it. I was refunded in full with five days. Good polite and professional was my experience. I will be back!

I bought a Sinn 144ST from this company.

The watch arrived and was meant to take place in my collection, but I noticed upon arrival that despite being shown on their website with the day on the day/date wheel showing MON, all other days were in German.

I have other watches with bilingual day wheels, so thought it just needed to be set to English, but there was no option for this.

I emailed F&G, and received a reply saying "Try to pull out the crown a little further for each setting and this should enable the date to be changed"

I replied that I had tried this and it wasn't possible to find an English day setting.

I then got another reply, "My apologies, with a few of our other brands they have the option for both, but I have spoken with Sinn and these in fact just come with the German days of the week."

So zero out of ten for product knowledge.

Now onto customer service, well despite the fact I had provided them with an education regarding their own product:

"This has now been changed on the listing so that future purchasers are aware."

I asked for the £15 it had cost me to return the item to them, selling a watch with a non-English date wheel, is pretty much a no-brainer who is in the wrong here.

I got back the infamous, computer says no, we can only send a pre-paid label, but as you have already sent it back to us: "As mentioned previously, unfortunately, due to the system, we are unable to refund more than was paid on the order"

So the company is run by the computers, not the other way around.

Anyway, I assume the £15 is make or break for F&G, so when I bought the Grand Seiko SBGA467 I replaced the Sinn with, I went for a knowledgable company, who were able to provide an insight into the beautiful product I bought, not the jokers who told me to keep turning the crown, it will become English eventually 🙄

Shockingly bad customer service.
My son saved up and spent £450 on a watch in March 21.
If broke by Dec 21 and we returned it.
3 months later and I still have not had it back.
Endless emails, constant prevarication, no end in sight.
Last email in early feb said 10 days……still waiting…….
No watch and 3 months of my warranty disappeared.
Be warned.

Can't recommend this company enough, great selection and prices, but more important the best friendly staff, with the best service possible.

My son saved up and bought a watch from this jewellers. 9 months in its stopped working. I have emailed them twice and phoned. I still have had no response. My son is very disappointed and I would not recommend them as a place to buy from this Xmas.

Fantastic customer service received from the staff at Francis and Gaye in Coventry. Best online customer service received from any Jeweller. Had an initial issue with my first order and was quickly rectified to the point where I ended up spending thousands more in the end lol. Thank you, I now love the watch.

Excellent communication throughout purchase and top-rate customer service when I needed my watch looked at (turned out to be a faulty battery). There aren't many places around these days that treat the customer so well. Well done Francis & Gaye! I would recommend you to anyone.

Contacted F&G before ordering to check the price was correct as it was simply a great price. Ordered and received a great item. F&G even followed up to check if was satisfied thereafter. Attitude of their staff and standard of customer service given was exceptional. ++++++++

Can’t fault Francis & Gaye. Found a Pandora ring in their website that was in the sale, chose to have it delivered for £1.50 which stated it would be 3-5 days but came the morning of the second day.

Really pleased, and won’t hesitate to order again.

Ordered 3 watches from them, I didn't receive any of them!! The prices they advertised online where wrong also.
