I ordered a watch online, and it arrived very quickly. Unfortunately I didn't "love it" when I saw it so decided to post it back (with insurance).
Francis Gaye had an excellent returns process- no quibble and I received a refund very promptly.
Excellent to see a painless experience especially as i unfortunately did not become a customer.

No communication. Took 13 days to arrive! Will not use again.

Can’t really rate yet as just wanted some feedback on ordering. Not sure now tbh based on some of these reviews. Think I’ll stick to product own website. Thanks

Ordered a tissot watch, which took longer than specigied with no notification of delayed dispatch. The watch arrived not working, now have to pay excessive special delivery cost to return.
I had a reputable Jeweller put in a new battery which did not resolve the problem - then told this breaks conditions of warranty. Awful customer service and attitude. I will not buy from here again.

I purchased a new watch from Francis and Gaye. It was ordered online which was an easy process. The watch arrived twenty four hours after the order was placed. I'm happy with the whole purchasing experience and my new watch is brilliant. I'm a satisfied customer.

Honestly I would take my money and get better customer service elsewhere. This store is absolutely shocking now and has definitely gone down hill in the last 8 years.
Black hair women needs to keep her mouth closed, whenever i’m in the store she’s all that can be heard when im trying to be served.
Repairs desk is absolutely shocking in the way they speak to customers. Their attitude stinks and I wouldn’t recommend speaking to them if you want service with a smile.
The boss has spoken to employees like they’re rubbish and doesn’t look professional doing it either as he comes in with his shirt untucked and trainers on almost every time.

If you’re looking for a professional service from francis and gaye, you clearly don’t know your jewellery stores because this will never be professional again.

I had a negative experience with another watch seller and was keen to get a limited edition Sinn before they sell out. A friend put me in touch with F&G and Lee Naylor in particular. Lee really went out of his way to ensure a swift and pleasant transaction. After waiting a few weeks with the other company F&G had this watch on my wrist in a few days. Lee even reached out to apologise DPD hadn't picked the watch up and had it with me the next day. Excellent service and I cannot recommend these enough.

Positive professional experience! I ordered a watch that had been discontinued last in stock free delivery was very fast. Ended up returning but still received excellent service and had no issues. Very pleased with the high standard of customer service I received throughout.

Not only did they fail to inform the customer of a promotion 3 for 2 on nomanation charms! that could have saved them money, but their assumption that the customer did not want a free item raises questions about their intentions. It is disappointing to see such behavior, especially during these challenging times. Customers should not have to worry about being taken advantage of by staff members. It is important for businesses to train and monitor their staff to ensure that all customers are treated with honesty and respect. The experience described highlights the importance of good customer service and the potential consequences of poor service.

Sorry I cant leave anything lower than 1 star. Ordered a watch and paid for the item. Received an email requesting verification that i was the person who ordered the watch so they could process the order. The true issue is they didnt have the watch in stock yet the advertised this on their website so the looked for an excuse. A few calls later ended up cancelling the order and receive a sarcastic refund email. Don't use this company they are horrendous and time wasters that false advertise stock.

These guys saved me £80 on a purchase which was on sale. I found them after a Google product search. Communication was spot on. Standard delivery within 3 days, and the item was well packed.

ordered a watch, said 2 -4 days delivery when I checked out. 5 days later after no updates, I have to call and am then told the watch won't be in stock for another 2 weeks, and then its still 7-10 days for delivery after that!!!!
Still waiting over 1 month later, after 3 phone calls, I finally recieve an email blaming Seiko moving warehouses. Why sell a watch you don't have? Still no watch . . . .

I really liked their store as I got to know them through social media and was a fan for some time now.
I reached out as I wanted to buy a few Seikos that were on sale.
I asked for help regarding one model and asked if they could do QC checks to see that everything more or less lines up and works. They told me that the model will be back in next week (even thought it was in stock) and that they will reach out to me when they get it.
In the meantime, the model went out of stock, when it returned the price went up by about 130£.
And then I found out that they had it in stock even after I reached out to them, but they sold it to people in the UK connected to some watch channels and magazines and just ignored me. So instead of gaining a new long term customer, they lost a long term fan.
If you're a regular buyer from outside the UK, don't even bother, look elsewhere.
