I have been emailing customer service asking whether they stock a watch meeting my needs. The replies have been incompetent. I wonder whether I have been dealing with a badly programmed chatbot or a know-nothing, care-less, human being.

Bought a Hamilton watch from this company. Excellent price and swift delivery.

Beautiful watch...ordered & was delivered 2 days later..no problems at all...Best price here and got a extra 10% off my 1st order can't ask for a better experience.

It’s my first and probably the last order with Francis and Gaye. I placed an order for a watch as a birthday gift for my husband. I even paid extra for the next day delivery. However neither my order has been delivered nor have I received any tracking updates and the day is almost over. I even tried calling them, sent them emails but no response yet. Now I am left with no gift for my special occasion. Pathetic service.

I had a great experience purchasing from Francis & Gaye Jewellers. I bought a Swiss digital hand watch. The watch arrived on time and in perfect condition, exactly as described. Their service was reliable and efficient. The only small downside was the packaging, which could be improved for better protection. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend them and buy from them again!

After being let down by a retailer with high street and online presence. (See my other reviews) I cancelled my order and sourced the exact same watch available from Francis & Gaye via their website. Slick simple transaction with a discount code promoted on their own website. Transaction completed and watch dispatched next working day and received the following day. Despite not dealing with any staff or speaking to any of the team. Such an easy simple transaction. Speedy delivery and brings back the excitement and joy of getting a new time piece. Looking forward to dealing with Francis and Gaye again and hopefully build a relationship of a valued customer

Wanted a Sinn 556i but unsure if it would fit me as have big wrists. The mad watch collector is always talking about them so fired off an email for info and got the answers I needed. They insured that the bracelet was big enough and adjusted before posting. Looks stunning. Pleasant all round experience, would buy from them again.

Ok, so I feel like 3.5/5 rating is completely unfair for this company. Probably people write a review here only when they have any negative experience with delivery or anything else that makes them unsatisfied.
I'm here to say that my experience with this store was amazing, I ordered my watch on 28 January 2025 at 2 AM, same day around 11 AM parcel with my watch was sent to Royal Mail, and on 29 January at 10 AM I was doing unboxing of my watch.
Good price, quick delivery, nice packaging , what should I want more from a store?

Recently bought a watch from Francis and Gaye Jewellers. Really nice looking and my son got it right on time for his birthday.

Arrived on time. No hassle whatsoever in placing the order 😁👌

Used Royal Mail 48 hr tracked delivery. Was left in back garden without a signature. Francis and Gaye won’t help or take any real responsibility. I’ve had to raise it through PayPal now. I understand Royal Mail left the watch but I am now £200 down and all they can do is google where I live and tell me it isn’t a shared garden.
Avoid and go to a face to face retailer.

Mention to the lady I had left around 4 messages over a five day period she then hung up on me jeez
I only called to check stock in 2 watches I wanted to buy as website was showing stock then no stock next day etc was only asking couple of questions very rude and disrespectful.
I only called them as I follow MWC and he is always raving about them I must have caught Sara who I was passed to after First Lady I think had trouble understanding me

I love my trollbead. Came in a lovely little trollbead box. Arrived within 2 days. Very happy.

Ordered a bracelet, waited nearly a week, then i get an email saying they dont even have it in their stockroom. Disappointing.

I went in to this store today in the hope of having some jewellery pieces repaired.

The young man who served me was very polite, and although he could not help (after following his colleagues advice), he tried his best. He did however, manage to temporarily fix a pair of earrings while taking a look at them which I didn’t notice until I left the store - thank you! This showed a contrast of character compared to his colleague - woman who was very unhelpful, blunt and had a poor attitude.

I understand if the store is unable to fix some items, but having manners and respect is a choice and unfortunately this female member of staff decided not to have any.

And I would like to add that I went to F Hinds and Aspell & Company (both also in the city centre) and they fixed it all. The gentleman at the latter store said “they are not real jewellers” when I said Francis and Gaye had told me they were unable to fix any of it.

I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone. I hope the female member of staff works on her people skills.

I'm happy with the whole purchasing experience and my new watch is brilliant, I'm a satisfied customer.

Ordered a watch online that was a fair bit cheaper than all other retailers. Slight issue with the delivery date on system being wrong and watch potentially being delayed however the staff pulled out all the stops to ensure that my new watch arrived before I went on holiday. Fantastic service and big thanks to the staff for their help.

Ordered a watch that was advertised a lot cheaper than everywhere else, paid for item to be told it would take 2 weeks to arrive, only to wake up to an email saying that model is now discontinued. Funny how at least 4 jewellers in one town yesterday had stock at the full price. Take this jewellers online prices with a BIG pinch of salt

I had the most wonderful experience ordering a Citizen watch from Francis & Gaye Jewellers! I placed my order on a Wednesday morning and had it in my hand by Friday afternoon (after a Trans-Atlantic crossing!) Cherri answered my questions via email quickly and set my mind at ease about international orders. Exceptional communications from start to finish! Looking forward to my next purchase!

My wife purchased a watch but later realised that the delivery stated 2 weeks because it was not in stock. She contacted Francis & Gaye to exchange for another that was in stock ( same watch different strap ) it was a 10 minute phone call and the person on the phone had it exchanged plus delivered the next day. Couldn’t have asked anymore from them. Super watch with excellent service. I will definitely recommend to anyone and I will be purchasing from them again.

So pleased with my purchase! Bought a watch for my husband for our wedding anniversary (it’s not until September so he hasn’t had it yet but I know he’ll love it!). Much cheaper from F&G than anywhere else thanks to a discount code on their site. Had a slight issue with some of the packaging so I emailed customer services and Cherri rectified the situation immediately! Don’t believe any of the bad reviews on here.
