Our company purchase what was to be the first of may printers from this company earlier this month.
It became apparent that the scanner part pf the unit did not scan both sides of a page. The product info was not clear enough.
Anyway no problem we thought, got in touch to explain, and that we would like to ugrade to a higher spec unit. To our utter surprise they said they would not accept the return as we were a business ! Had this been purchased by an individual then the return would be fine.
The printer had not been used, we have all the packaging, toners not even out of their packaging.
However hard we tried to explain how crazy this decision was, they would not budge.
We have now sent back the unit, and will be claiming the funds back from our credit card company as the machine does not perform how we expected it.
Customer service is shocking, they dont get the bigger picture, we have over 10 printers we were planning to replace before the end of the year!!

I have located your order and reviewed the details of your case.
I would like to reassure you that we do not refuse returns based on whether a customer is a business or an individual. All customers are treated fairly and in accordance with the same returns policy.
Unfortunately, in this instance, the printer was not eligible for return because it had been opened and fully set up. Under our Terms and Conditions, a printer returned due to incompatibility with a customer's existing equipment, operating system, network environment, or intended use is treated as an unwanted return unless the product is faulty or not as described.
Our Terms and Conditions state that all returned items must meet the following criteria:
The item must be unused and returned in a resaleable condition, complete with all accessories and in its original packaging.
Items may only be inspected in the same manner as they would be in a shop. Therefore, any seals, vacuum packaging, and dustproof packaging must remain fully intact.
The item must be undamaged and returned in suitable packaging.
As the printer had been opened and set up, it no longer met the conditions required for an unwanted return.
I appreciate this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but I hope this clarifies the reason why the return could not be accepted.

Great experience
We've been using Cartridge People since last year and had a positive experience. All of our orders are always on time and even when we have recently had an issue with a product, their customer service has been fantastic.

had an issue with cartridge…
had an issue with cartridge compatability but after a phonecall with Sam at customer services he talked me through process of elimination to find fault, it pointed to a faulty black cartridge which he ordered straight away FOC, Sam was patient and helpful as im not tech savvy, i shall be using Cartridge People in future now.

I recently had an issue with some cartridges, but this was quickly resolved
I recently had an issue with some cartridges I had purchased from Cartridge People. One leaked, the other was not recognised by the printer. I contacted their customer service team and George was extremely helpful throughout.
George quickly arranged for replacement cartridges to be sent out, and they arrived the very next morning. I'm pleased to say the replacements worked perfectly and resolved the issue straight away.
It was also a lovely touch to find some complimentary teabags included in the package, which certainly put a smile on my face!
Great customer service, prompt delivery, and a company that clearly values its customers. Thanks again to George and the team. Highly recommended.

Si Bennett and the team at the Cartridge People have been great.
Had an issue with my cartridge and they replaced no questions asked.
As cartridges can dry out and have issues I’m pleased that they have a guarantee (I think 12 months) on their products. Will definitely buy again when this one runs out.

The toner we purchased from Cartridge…
The toner we purchased from Cartridge People was faulty, I emailed and received a reply from George the same day. He gave clear and simple instructions on how to fix the issue and if not an assurance that they would credit me for the full amount if it did not work. It didnt and we received a credit note the next day. I then was able to order a new toner, thanks George for your help.

I have used products from Cartridge People for some time. My most recent order for printer ink came very quickly, but I had great difficulty in trying to replace my old cartridge. Ordered full set of Cartridge People…
Ordered full set of Cartridge People own brand replacement cartridges for a Samsung printer. On installation 1 cartridge wasn't recognised. Phoned them, spoke with Marianne to begin with, she was extremely helpful emailed me a few suggestions to try and fix the issue, when they didn't work I called back spoke to a colleague of hers who immediately arranged a replacement. The replacement was dispatched same day on an overnight basis and delivered within 24 hours of 1st raising the issue. The replacement now in the machine, everything seems to be working very well. THANK YOU. Outstanding service, everyone I spoke with were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and overall complete 5* treatment.

Evri had left my package outside, despite instructions to leave it in the secure porch, whilst we were away for several days. It wasn't there when we arrived home, days later.
