Trust is Unfair
The only reason this shop has bad reviews because they don't pay for Trust service Trust is really pushing down shops sorry. this shop is great!
Customs Duty
Customs Duty - unfortunately, hidden in their terms and conditions it mentions that their "might" be additional charges for customs duty. I had to pay an additional €16 which, on top of relatively expensive prices, made the whole experience very expensive. I use other "UK products" website and have never had this problem, before or after Brexit, as many now operate out of Ireland so within the EU. Very disappointed with the response ( we are a new company, it does say this in our T&Cs etc etc - no refund or goodwill gesture offered ). If you are going to use this company, check VERY CAREFULLY, whether you will have customs duties to pay. Goods as ordered ( one substitution but it was a small item and of the same quality ).

Terrible customer service. My goods did not arrive, when i contacted Brit superstore they said that the items are probably stuck at customs and told me i am on my own to sort it out!! Where does a person start with that. Don’t bother buying from them, they take no responsibility and i do not have the goods that i ordered in good faith from them. I have clawed back the money and really do not like doing that but they left me no choice.
Insufficient Postage!
My order was sent out with insufficient postage and cost me an extra £5. I contacted them to explain this and ask for the £5 back as a refund but they ignored me. This isn't good enough. I'm also based in the UK so it's not like they couldn't have worked out the right postage.
EDIT: After leaving this review, I got my £5 back so changing from 1 star to 3 stars as it was resolved but still frustrating.
Sadly I've been waiting almost a month…
Sadly I've been waiting almost a month for something I ordered. According to customs they do not have the correct paperwork from the company. I didn't spend a lot, but it was a gift for my wife who is going through cancer and we are both pensioner's. Company doesn't seem to be bothered about trying to help. Started well,but the finish is terrible.

unfortunately still waiting for my product after ordering it on the 9th february (it is now the 25th of march), no clear reply from the shipping company nor the britsuperstore. I only ordered a small peppermint extract nothing else.
Amazingly good packaging
A really large range of products. Amazingly good packaging and protective wrapping to ensure everything arrives intact.
They lie to you
They tell you the order is without problems as it's not meat or dairy, ask you to confirm agreement of order, then it gets rejected by receiving country and returned to them and they offer no refund.... Purposefully deceiving people. Shameless

I have had an excellent experience (my first) with Britsuperstore.com, parcel sent to The Netherlands. They offer a wonderful variety of product choice with ease of ordering and payment. Their communication was clear and first class. All my products arrived safely and in perfect condition. The content of my parcel was very carefully packed, no breakages and each product had a long use by date. I would not hesitate to order from them again.

This business is really untrustworthy..I received goods that had the seals broken and the tops removed and tampered with, no response from this business. I was also sickened by items ordered, really bad..
Mala gestion
Hice un pedido, lo recibi 2 meses despues, debido a que se quedo retenido en la aduana española, tuve que pagar mas de 115€ de impuestos, (mas el costo del pedido) y cuando lo recibi tenia productos caducados y me faltaban 6 articulos. Nadie se hace responsable y se lavan las manos. No recomiendo comprar aqui, ya que tendran problemas para recibir el pedido debido al Brexit y ellos se desentienden del problema una vez tu pagas y aceptas las condiciones de venta, deberian explicarte todo lo que puede pasar antes, para que al menos tengas la opcion de cancelar el pedido.

I advise everyone to steer clear of this company. I ordered goods exactly a month ago - still waiting - and every time I called to chase things up, was met with indifference.
When I asked them to refund me they said “oh, we can’t yet” 🙄
There are plenty of other companies sending English goods to Italy, so don’t waste your time.
I am now proceeding with the Small Claims Court. I am spitting mad.

They tried to deny me a refund even though they knew I hadn't received the goods. In fact the goods had been returned to them at that point.

I ordered Christmas food on 10 December 2025 which got stopped by the Spanish customs who said the goods were perishable dates and returned them. When I wrote and asked for a refund, they told me I had signed a contract saying that I had agreed to there terms of a non refundable order. I would never order from them again, a bad attitude.

My friends ordered several food items as gifts for my 60th birthday. To be sent from Wales to Spain. They ended up in customs and then the items expired before they could be forwarded on to me despite our prompt response to customs . The t&cs confirm they are not responsible for the delivery even though the company purports to be experts in delivering British Brands overseas! No gifts, no refunds and no response re complaint

Great first experience with Britsuperstore. A huge selection of British products. Super smooth transaction, and shipping was fast and efficient to Canada despite being ordered over the Christmas holiday.
Highly recommended and will use the service again. 5 star rating for sure.
Didn’t receive half my order
I ordered with 48hr shipping in time for Christmas and it came today half empty. Half of the items I ordered didn’t come. I rang and emailed and they eventually answered saying they couldn’t find the item I ordered. If you couldn’t find it then why wasn’t I emailed prior to the shipment going out?? I was only told when I rang to complain and a partial refund was only processed when I complained also. Lady on the phone wasn’t apologetic at all, no compassion. You shouldn’t have something on the site if you can’t provide it. I only ordered from you for the Tango Dark Berry and had to pay EXTORTIONATE shipping fees. Horrendous customer service, won’t give you your items and won’t tell you till you phone up angry!! Do not order. I’ve seen other reviews saying the refund never comes through so I’ll be waiting eagerly and contacting my bank if I don’t see it soon.
£10 turned to €78!
Paid €22 for something that would have cost about £10 - fine, have to make a profit. Paid the same amount (€22) for shipping - fine, really wanted it so had to be done.
Just for the postman to knock on the door and ask for a further €34! HOW
Never again! Buyer beware. French import taxes 40%
French duty 40% of order value.
My order was for a Christmas cake, mince pies, and a Christmas pudding - total £34.
Here in France the post lady rang the bell to say there was a bill of €16 (£14) to pay.
Shock! Of course in the small print is the recommendation that the customer checks in advance if any duty or tax is payable.
But it's impossible to find out (I subsequently tried) what the French duty charges would be for "Morrisons - the best Christmas cake" for example.
Of course the company know this.
They should, before you complete an order, advise you at that point that there many be duty payable.
They must send hundreds or more of similar items to the EU, so they should know exactly.
But I suppose you can't blame them, people might just not order.
So, buyer beware.
PS the delivery charge was £18, so my three Christmas items cost me £66!
On the positive side, the order arrived quickly and was superbly packed.
Hence the 3* instead of 1
