Their selection is loaded with fun and challenging items for just about any level of building experience. I've had tremendous fun working on these well crafted, wooden models myself and with my family. Anyone who enjoys building things or working with their hands should try a Ugears model. The shipping is always rapid and accurate as well.

Great service, fun to build, wide range of working models, including clocks that keep good time… excellent free, fast, replacement parts for those few mishaps. All for a reasonable price. Make great presents.

I have built more of these than I can count, from the simplest fidgets to the Aeroclock and Horse. This is one of my favorite pastimes.

To address some issues I have seen in other reviews:
"don't run" -- they do run but you MUST use wax to lubricate them. Use more than you think you need and use it on ALL moving parts.
Broken rubber bands -- I have had this same issue but rubberbands always age. I have been able to replace those where needed.

Impressive quality and detail. I enjoy assembling the models. Will recommend.

I have given many as gifts and they were all appreciated. As well as functional 'toys' they are fun to put together as well.

I have made laser-cut wood models / puzzles from 3 different companies. Ugears products have consistently been the best. The designs are well engineered, the instructions are clear, and the tolerances on the parts are more exact. From the simplest (fidgits) to the most complex (hurdy-gurdy) kits I've built, I have enjoyed both the build and the result.

After I purchased and built the UGEARS Tourbillon Table Clock, one of the core parts failed during winding one day. I reached out to UGEARS US who didn’t have the necessary part but they provided me the contact information for UGEARS Ukraine. I reached out fully expecting a response to take a while given their current battle to repel invaders. Despite current events I received a response a week or two later with confirmation that they would send out the replacement parts as soon as possible but advised me to be patient as it could take some time. A few weeks later I received the package as promised.
That’s some stellar customer service!

We have a LOT of UGEARS models and have very much enjoyed assembling them. However, almost all of the models using rubber bands now have broken rubber bands. We keep the models inside in a climate controlled environment, but just sitting, without use, the rubber bands often break, or upon first use after a period of being unused. To replace the rubber bands would require disassembling the models, which is next to impossible.

Great products, fun to assemble and play with my kids.

I have been constructing Ugears models now for many years. The early ones relied on elastic bands to provide the propulsion which worked quite well. Over the years the models have improved greatly now using metal springs as the main driving force. I have just completed the cargo truck, with its differentials, universal joints and suspension. I enjoyed the challenge of the build and am very pleased with the outcome. I look forward to more great models from Ugears who I regard as the best in wooden modelling. I am 73 and am looking forward to Ugears next offerings.

Great Engineering and manufacturing to make these models. They are fun and relaxing to assemble and very satisfying when you are done. A wonderful project for an adult and child to understand the engineering and mechanics involved. I have built nearly every model they make, some twice. I have also purchased multiple models for the local Boys & Girls Club to be used as an activity and as a learning exercise.

I find that the rubber bands dry out quickly and harden then break. The metal spring motors work the best. The accuracy of laser cutting and engineering design is just awesome.

UGEARS provides me with a fun hobby and I am always amazed at the ingenuity, engineering, and aesthetics of their models.
