Month-long rental in Barcelona
My husband and I rented bikes from Swapfiets España for 1 month, while living and working in Barcelona. We rented their 6 (him) and 7 (me) speed bikes, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. The bikes were excellent. I joked that my bike felt like a electric assist bike, because it went so fast. We used the bikes daily to commute to our work site. The company was also excellent, with the employees helpful and friendly. All in all an excellent experience.

The customer service was great
The customer service was great, everytime I needed assistance, everyone was great, fast and simple.
The bike was great too, a little bit big for a small person like me but in two years that I had it, not once it broke or needed to replace a part. The only time I needed to replace the seat but because it was stolen.

Hi Sunny,
I can understand your frustration with the high amount for the surcharge! Unfortunately this amount is due to the bike being stolen while the key is still in the bike. The bike can only remain unlocked while the key is inside, therefore we have to assume that you left the bike unlocked and sadly someone took it in that time.
If you had properly locked the bike and still had the key you would only have to pay 220 EUR or even less if you had the e-bike insurance.
We can most definitely make a payment plan to deal with this payment however.

Tuve 2 experiencias con Swapfiets. Una buena y una mala
Tuve 2 experiencias con Swapfiets: La primera ocurrió todo genial. Me quedó triste cuado tuve devolver la bici. La última experiencia por otro lado tuve un pessimo atendimento. Me consiguieron una bici que tenía problemas en el freno delantero y, principalmente en el candado que no se cerrava correctamente.
Apuntei una cita para ayustar los problemas y el chico de la tienda (Balmes de Barcelona) que se dije estar hace 3 semanas en este trabajo fue pesado y rude conmigo. Se pongó nervioso decindo que los problemas eran normales y que yo no estaba sabendo frenar o cerrar el candante. Yo insisté que la bici fuera substituída y el empezó a hablar más fuerte, como coaccionarme.El otro chico que trabaja en la tienda se hice un sinal para que se acalmasse. Solo despues de atender toda la colla de clientes se volvió a mi para cambiar la bici. Me senti muy mala y no tengo ganas más de alquilar nada más con vosotros.

He alquilado una bici eléctrica por 6 meses y al segundo día se apagó y no volvió a prender, iré hoy a cambiarla.
