Just dont use Seedrs.

Nonostante abbia avuto difficoltà, e non sia riuscito ad accedere al lancio anticipato della start up, in cui volevo investire, e non so ancora il motivo, sono felice comunque di aver fatto un investimento in qualcosa in cui credo

if you’re thinking of investing in Seedrs startups give it a miss and go into paddypower and place a few bets instead; the odds are much better. Communication is poor (you’ll find out a company has failed on your own accord while Seedrs will contact you months later) and it’s impossible to contact them. Cannot even contact anyone to reset my password. Beyond poor, I wish I could mark it lower. (Edit) Three months to reply to this review and clearly a shambles of a company.

1) I had to repeat the procedure to verify my identity several times
2) when finished, I had difficulties in finding the investment I had chosen

It’s taking too long to update my funds transfer even though my bank confirmed transfer was successful

Very poor support. I am trying to chase it since almost a week, sent 3 emails and no feedback. Because of that I lost the opportunity for the investment, which is closed now. I basically transferred the money for Swedes account and lost on the transfer fees for absolutely nothing. Very disappointed!

Seedrs helps an amateur to buy shares in a safe, straight forward way. Their communication is good.

The card was easy to set up, easy to use and accepted everywhere I wanted to use it. Exchange rates are competitive and we get some money back too! I like the fact that I did not have to charge my card with prepaid funds so did not end up with currency I’m not likely to use again after holidaying at some countries.

I transfered 500 + 60 Euros to my Seedrs account because I wanted to participate in cowdfunding event. 60 euros reached my Seedrs account, 500 never arrived nor was returned to my own account. There is no way to contact customer service, no procedure to submit a complaint and their support is not responding via email.

Update: I got a response after about a month and 500€ was returned back to me. 60€ I was asked to transfer back from my account myself (even though I mentioned that I just want my account closed and money returned which I know they can do easily).
So I lost very promising investment opportunity, but at least I got money back.
I still would recommend to avoid them at all costs and will notify everyone around me about this, as customer support should not be responding after more than a month, especially when they are holding my money in their account.

Update: dear team, you are really not in a right position to reply with such an ironic message. This just shows what a professional institution you are and your opinion towards your customers. Sad.

Sitet på Seedrs brød ned og kunne desværre ikke håndtere den store mængde kunder der ønskede at investere i Female Invest samtidig. Det resulterede i at handler ikke kunne gennemføres. Til Seedrs ros fik jeg en mail senere på dagen om at min ordrer ikke var gået igennem, hvor jeg så fik mulighed for at købe de aktier jeg gerne ville i FI - og det forløb ok.

The Seedrs team did a good job solving issues regarding the crash, during the Female Invest crowdfunding.

The page completely broke down when I tried to invest in Female Invest.

I have had a very fine kommunikation with Karen from Seedrs. Without here help I could not have my platform done and investet in Female Invest, but it succedet….👍

This was my first time investing in a company and my first time using Seedr's platform. The site crashed when the funding went live due to the massive interest in the funding campaign. Apparently, Seedrs' IT team had taken measures to make sure this couldn't happen, but it clearly wasn't sufficient as the site was down for 12 out of the 17 minutes it took to meet the target. I wasn't able to invest before the campaign closed due to this downtime. Bummer!

Easy access and verification

The system broke down, so the process was quite stressfull.
Something went wrong with the paying proces, but I ended up getting the paylink reopended which made me very happy…
