Horrible customer service. often they have things listed that they are sold out of. They never reach out with an explanation. Or maybe the item was there, but they wait months to ship it to you and in that time, they sold it to somebody else after you paid for it. they often refuse to take returns. I have made so many orders of their products and the only 2 times I needed to return something they wouldn't take it. i would give them a one star, but their clothing is nice and usually well made. my advice is do not buy directly through their store.Go through amazon. Most of their products are on amazon, even ones that are out of stock on their website , and at least you can return it if you need to. Also, they are incentivizing reviews.I gave them a bad one anyway.

I've ordered from this company multiple times, regular items and the mystery boxes, and I've loved every item I've gotten.
I can be a bit weird in my sizes, but thankfully their sizes are consistent throughout all of their clothing. unlike some that do different sizes for different parts.
only one skirt of mine came with a defect, but I noticed it like months later, so I just kinda ate that one and used my own skills to fix some of the stitching.
but I get compliments on all of my outfits.

All items I’ve ever bought from Scarlet Darkness have been exactly the way I expected them to be. Delivery estimates have been relatively accurate (usually arriving a little earlier). Once when an item was missing from my order I got in contact via email and the team responded almost straight away telling me about a stocking mix up and that the missing item would be coming at a later date, which it did. Easily dealt with, no problems. I think people who have complained about sizing issues only have themselves to blame for misreading size charts or misjudging their size. I have found all the sizing to be very accurate.

Lovely garments and accessories, many of them made in nice quality. Some items have taken months to arrive but they have 99% of the time, when one item didn’t then I received a refund. I’ve been satisfied with the customer support! Will purchase soon again from them :)

I have bought several items from them and never had any hassle. Returning is difficult as you would have to fund the shipping. As an alternative they gave me a money off voucher for the next order.

I really love the products, especially the corsets, absolutely beautiful, the design, the work and also the price. I also loved the dresses. They do send to Canary Islands which is a big pro since many companies don't do that. Once an order got lost on the way and it was sent out again after dealing with customer support.

The item i received was too large so I asked to return and swap for a smaller size. Unfortunately, the small was sold out but I'm grateful that we came to an agreement that I could pick something else of equal or lesser value. Communication was a little slow but other than that I am very happy with the experience and outcome. Thank you!

I placed an order for 4 items, and only received 2 of them so far. I placed the order a month ago, and their shipping times state 7-20 days. I’ve reached out multiple times to their email and facebook, no one responds, despite them stating on their website they respond within 12 hours. Facebook messenger just gives an automated message. The half of the order I did receive fits well, subpar quality, good for those who aren’t seeking serious corset and dress quality for renaissance fairs. What a shame this company lacks, cause I would’ve ordered more in the future. Steer clear, it’s not worth the hassle of zero customer service, and heaven forbid you need to return something (you’ll be pretty much out of luck).

The corsets are beautiful but definitely don’t order from this company unless you are 100% sure that you want the item. Making a return is impossible and you won’t hear back from them despite what their website says. Overall very disappointing.

Overly long wait time for shipment to even be made, it’s taken me about 3-4months now of trying to get my full refund from them, there is either no reply, lied to, or put through hoops to try and get the rest of my refund

Die Ware kam relativ schnell für einen Versand aus dem Ausland. Die Kleidungstücke sind von guter Qualität. ABER: Ich versuche seit 5 Tagen die Ware zu retournieren, da mir fast alle Kleidungsstücke zu groß sind. Auf beiden Retour-Email-Adressen erhalte ich keine Antwort. Es wird wohl darauf hinauslaufen, dass ich die Abbuchung sperren werde. Absolut unprofessionell und fast schon kriminell!

The outfits are gorgeous, fit true to size and are high quality. I'm a 14/16 and everything fit perfectly! The ruffle skirt was very cute and even has pockets! The black dress has a beautiful lace neckline too. Highly recommend Scarlet Darkness brand for anyone wanting unique, high quality merchandise

Schöne Kleidung, ABER:
Bestellungen werden in vielen Einzelteilen mit mehreren Wochen Abstand versendet, sodass man im Falle einer Retour alles einzeln zurücksenden muss. Für die Kosten muss man natürlich selbst aufkommen. Ich hab vor 6 Wochen 7 Einzelteile bestellt, von denen bis jetzt drei eingetroffen sind- ist also nicht der tollste Service. Und Retouren sind nicht rentabel, da Rückversandt nach China.

As other complaints have said, they don't deliver your order and don't respond to inquiries. I emailed them twice and they didn't respond, after waiting through their "7-20 days" waiting time. I started a dispute through Klarna, and then they suddenly sent an email saying they delivered the items... TODAY! It's still well outside of the delivery time, so I no longer need the items, and they are not offering a refund. Save yourself the trouble and order from reputable companies!

On my most recent order, I accidentally put in the wrong quantity for an item. I noticed it immediately after I hit submit order. I emailed the team over at Scarlet darkness and they got back to me promptly with a couple different solutions. I was very satisfied with the options and chose the one that best suited me.
They were very kind and I’m looking forward to receiving my new ensemble from them soon.

Although I can only comment on the website and customer service, so far my experience has been a delight. The selection and navigation on their website was inviting, informative, and addictive. When I encountered a dilemma with my points code erroring out, customer service replied promptly and were most helpful. I’ve placed my order and can’t wait to try on my first ren faire pieces from Scarlet Darknness! 🖤

Love it soo much, my dress came in later but its such good quality, to bad the elven ears (silver) were to tiny for my ears

The delivery took slightly longer than stated, but there was no communication from the company that my order had been processed or sent until royal mail got it in England. They sent me the wrong product from the one I ordered (madame butterfly retro pearl waist chain), and the one they sent me (madame butterfly pearl waist chain) did not match the listing at all. I want a refund but they make you pay for return shipping, despite this being entirely their mistake, not mine. I tried to leave a review but the first one was taken down for an unknown reason, I resubmitted it but don't know how long that one will stay up for if they immediately removed my first one. The dress I ordered is however very soft and flowy, some loose threads but not terrible. The lining could be a bit longer too. Redeems my experience slightly, but quality does not match price.

Edit: They have removed my review from their product listing again, and tried to get this review removed. Transparency and honesty is crucial for online shops, i will not be purchasing from them again.

I was looking at scarlet darkness products on another platform and thought to myself „maybe they have a bigger variety on their own platform“. So I went there and saw not only one but 3 different sale options. I browsed and on the next day I decided to order.

Probably someone else ordered at the same time so i was contacted by their support and a good alternative for that item was found even though the new item was not on sale.

Great customer service. Very friendly and I don’t have to fiddle with reordering or PayPal again. That’s how I prefer to make a bargain.

Now I’m thrilled for my new clothing!

I had an amazing experience with Scarlet Darkness customer service! Unfortunately, the perfect skirt I found for an Ateez concert, on Pinterest, wasn't available in my size. I emailed them, and they restocked it in XL just for me, even offering a discount as an apology. I'll be checking Scarlet Darkness for clothing before anywhere else from now on!
