Premier Park Scam
Rremier Park (Leckwith road, Cardiff) - scamming!
It is not about managing parking — it’s about extracting money from drivers. Cameras pick up the slightest deviations, including situations where a wheel slightly touches a white line, and this is treated as a “violation”. Meanwhile, notifications either arrive late or do not arrive at all, and the case is then passed straight to debt recovery.
As a result, instead of a warning, people are faced with an increased charge and pressure from debt collectors. This model does not look like enforcement — it looks like a system designed to generate penalties.
In my case, this feels blatantly unfair: an ordinary driver is turned into a “violator” over a minimal deviation, and then pushed to pay a disproportionate amount (210£). This does not feel like regulation — it feels like being forced to pay at any cost.
Beware of using Marstons pub car parks
Beware of using Marstons pub car parks, signs are not clear, no indication of cctv, you get a fine in the post if you are not taking care of registration in pub of your vehicle, time the law sorted this out
Scamming bastards even when you pay you…
Scamming bastards even when you pay you still get fine with no way to susecfully apeal probably torquay council get a cut of money curopt
Scamming company
Scamming company, parked on child bay and had my 9 month baby and still got a ticket. I’ve proven pictures of child seat and told the company to check cctv or me taking baby out of car seat into pram and still they refuse to check CCTV and won’t cancel ticket. What a joke company!
An absolute con
An absolute con. I challenged my parking fine, initially with Premier Park and after getting a negative response (surprise!) took my grievance to POPLA. After a long delay, POPLA supported Premier park so I gave up and went to pay the fine. This SHOULD have been the reduced £65 as the appeal was meant to 'stop the clock'. But no, Premier Park's payment portal showed £100 with no opportunity to challenge. POPLA had closed the case too. Only option was Citizen's Advice....... I did try but gave up after hanging on forever. Ridiculous. They are absolute thieves hiding behind a brick wall of non-communication. Companies like this need intervention from Trading Standards but they'll probably get away with it for years...

My builder has received today 4 parking charges in addition to the one I received. I have to pay them all.
I rang them twice (!) before and each time a male agent told me the lies that Premier Parking no longer enforced parking charges for Richmond Court and stupid me believed your agents and now I have to pay £300 (!) and probably more as further notices will arrive.
I am absolutely disgusted by the behavior of their agents. and I have started a formal complaints procedure. I will also contact me MP
Parking fine when I have clearly paid
I tried three times to put my registration in the ticket machine.on the 3rd attempt it went through but the last three digits were missing on the tickets therefore I got a parking fine.i sent proof of payment bank statement and the parking ticket to prove I had paid ,but they turned down my appeal. But reduced the fine to £20.plus the £2 i paid .They are really not a trustworthy company. I will never park there again and will not be using the St georges shopping centre ever again .
Very poor company
Very poor company. No response from the staff initially and later, no empathy to my pleads for overstaying for 18minutes even when I showed evidence that I paid for 1 hour but the 18minutes extra was because my toddler suffered UGI infection and vomited in the restaurant. No empathy and the language of the response was inappropriate. I paid as I did not want to hear back from a company which has utter disregard for humans. SHAMELESS!!
This company does NOT even deserve 1…
This company does NOT even deserve 1 star, received a parking fine for apparently leaving my car at Hathaway retail park in Chippenham for almost 23 hours!!! I use this car park for the gym, sunbed shop and b&m sometimes multiple days in a row.
Trying to appeal from a letter is near enough IMPOSSIBLE, I put an appeal in to a company with a similar name and now Paremier Park won’t deal with this appeal as it’s over the 28 days and debt recovery plus is a joke themselves.
The car park has 2 entrances and exits, I expect I’ll be receiving more fines.
I am also not the only one to get this fine and I have provided photograph evidence.
This company is a jokes and I am NOT paying the fine!!
What a crap company!
What a crap company!! Scammers I park my car for 3 min. By mistake and get penalty I’m appeal, they just ignore and make decisions what they want, penalty charge was 60£ but I’m waiting appeal letter and waiting and get now 100£ notice what are scammers!!!
Absolutely pathetic company
Absolutely pathetic company. As with many others on here I was given a ticket for parking inches over the white line in a space at the end of a row with about 40 metres of clear road to the side of me. Not unsafe in any way, several emergency vehicles could pass at the same time, I wasn’t intruding on another space so there was no issue whatsoever. Unfortunately their actions have an effect on all the other businesses because I will never use their car parks again which means I will never be staying at the Hilton Hotel again, won’t be spending any money in the shops and over a £60 ticket they will now lose out on hundreds of pounds of future parking for every home game at the CBS Arena. Not very clever business
3 mins to recycle and a PCN
Barbican car park, Plymouth. Drove in because it is registered with City Council as having recycling banks. 3 mins, did my recycling, left. Received PCN in the post for £100 as the photo showed me not properly parked between the white lines. Lost the appeal and paid the £60. Have written to a national newspaper consumer page and my MP.
Utterly reprehensible company and entirely representative of the grubby state of Britain. The lack of any replies from them on this site, even the usual pretence at some sort of care, tells you what you need to know: they couldn't care less. I will be turning around whenever I see that they are monitoring a car park.
The injustice drove me to end everything
Firstly I did purchase a ticket at the Bulls Head Kings Norton.
I noticed that the machine hadn't printed the full number plate even though I typed it .. so I emailed them to explain there was a fault that same day and sent proof of purchase. (Apparently this is a known fault with these machines)
They said it would still result in a fine but I could appeal It did, which I did. Sadly they said I had admitted not displaying the correct ticket but they would reduce the fine to £20.
I was too exhausted and stressed by it so went to pay. It rejected the payment several times and then there was a page that said 'payment confirmation' in big letters. I took a screenshot and felt it was finally over.
Only to receive a debt recovery bill for £170 . I was extremely confused and tried to find proof of payment again .. however when I went to look at the payment confirmation it said in small letters underneath 'payment declined' .
It just feels like such a scam company who trick you as much as possible.
The debt recovery notice is still on the basis that I failed to pay ...when they know I did pay and I had sent proof.
This leaves me unable to eat or pay my bills and is the last straw in this life.
The injustice and the taste of being scammed makes the world feel like a place I just can't stay any more.
10/10 for the free parking year round! Silly people
5* for premier park as their patrols are so incompetent and useless that I literally get a free extra space bay parking in their car parks year round! Idiots can’t even work out that I shouldn’t be there. Thanks for being useless and keep up the bad work.
Unethical company practices
After having a direct debit set up for a year and paying on time I was asked to renew my permit. The system failed and I was advised the permit would automatically renew which it did. Days later they canceled my permit and then advised me to reapply and that PCNs were on hold until renewals were complete. They then proceeded to give me two PCNs and then rejected my appeal for no reason. I am highly disappointed with this company and find that they will do anything to make money even if you are a truthful customer. It makes me wonder if they purposefully ensure renewals cant be made so that they will automatically update your permit but then later reject it only to give you tickets. Highly unethical company.
These and Popla are an utter disgrace
These and Popla are an utter disgrace.
Anyone have issues contact the British parking association and read the private parking code of practice because I can almost guarantee Premier aren’t adhering to it. Also write to your MP - it’s the government allowing this.
Truly heartless people, devoid of human compassion
Truly heartless people. I am in disbelief, frankly. I have explained that my family is in crisis and we had a GP appointment. My crime? Waiting outside a marked bay, not even with the engine off- and ready to move to let anyone pass. I have explained our dire circumstances and that we were at a point of complete crisis, but the company are utterly without even a shred of human compassion. It sums up this country, frankly- that even at an NHS site, merciless, completely kindness-free profit seeking mercenaries are contracted to make money out of the vulnerable.
This company is a complete scam
This company is a complete scam. I am a permit holder at a location using this company. Up until recently, there have been at least 3 cars parked in our bays that have had neither valid tax or MOT, and one of them was there for over a year. The online parking register showed our permits as "never expiring", and yet we were bumped off the list, and, as a consequence received 2 parking fines. which brings me on to a further point. Whereas the previous company put tickets under the windscreen wipers, which gives a clear signal to pirate parkers, this bunch notify by post, which means that you can run up several "fines" without being aware that there is anything amiss. There is no way of contacting them directly, and now their website won't allow us to log in using details supplied by the company, so there is no way of issuing permits to clients.
Absolute scam company
Absolute scam company, they monitor the parking at Valley Centertainment in Sheffield. When there is an event on at the arena they speculatively take photos of random cars legitimately parked and state the driver left the car park, without providing evidence. They reject every single appeal with zero consideration, even when you provide proof of purchase confirming you were in one of the restaurants at the time you apparently left valley Centertainment they still reject your appeal. When you appeal to POPLA they always wait until the very last minute to withdraw the charge as they know it has zero chance of success but they want to scare you into paying. The directors need locking up their operating model is fraud plain and simple.
