Gutted

Gutted, I researched where I was supposed to go in Leeds City Station CP and duly arrived, and on a steamingly hot day saw my son with suitcase waving at the entrance. I instinctively stopped, he hopped in and we did a u turn. I was stopped 10 seconds if that, and back out of the CP in just a little bit more than half a minute. Shocked!!! Shocked that, that cost me £100 (£60 for a quick settlement). I'm not one to fight these things, it's not right (in fact it's theft) but there's one thing I'll never, ever do again and that's go any where near that CP. Everyone else beware. 0/10

Scammers

I appealed my parking charge and i have had no correspondence at all. There is no email or number to call to discuss this with, leaving me no choice but to pay £100 to avoid further escalation, as now its beyond thr 14 days due to not having my appeal dealt with and the only way to contact is by post creating further delay. How a business is able to operate like this is crazy, absolute scammers.

Disgusting tactics. Parked in Wing Yip in Croydon, made a purchase and went outside of the carpark to look at adjacent shops. Apparently you are not allowed to leave the premises, even though you made a purchase. Slapped with £100 fine, no way to appeal, no phones, they purposely make it difficult to speak to anyone about it

Fined a 17 year collecting her younger sister so she didn't get stabbed or raped in a dangerous area.. no correspondence.. until past the 28 days so sent a letter state she owe 100.. they don't care and are not helpful.. she pulled.in sister jumped in car less than 2 mins from pulling in to out. And stated clearly we have missed the reduced rate even after I stated this was the first we had heard of the fine.. scamming to get more money by not sending first letter! Very poor response from them

How can you charge people this way

How can you charge people this way. Poor signage and no one to talk to. Just plain old cash cow for the back pocket. My daughter was caught out going to a fast food place late in the evening on her way home, and stopped for food. The fast food carpark was full, so she just drove 20ft to park, get her food and sit in her car to eat it as the restaurant was full. £60 for the privilege for a student. Hope you can sleep at night you thieving 🤬😡😡😡

My elderly parents received a Parking…

My elderly parents received a Parking Charge Notice from UK Car Park Management at SGS Wise Campus despite having paid for parking through the Sippi app.

The vehicle was on site from 13:10 to 14:18. They paid for one hour of parking from 13:21 to 14:21 and have a receipt showing the correct vehicle registration and location. The car park signage also states that the first 20 minutes are free.

When we appealed, UK CPM rejected the appeal and stated that "no payment or permit" had been found, despite providing the payment receipt. Rather than continue through the appeals process and risk losing the discounted rate, they reluctantly paid the charge.

Our experience left me feeling that genuine evidence was not properly considered. If you use this car park, I would strongly recommend keeping screenshots of all payments, receipts and signage in case you ever need to challenge a parking charge.

Unable to communicate

Given a ticket for parking in my designated parking spot at my apartment as the pass was not clearly shown. However the pass always sits on the windshield of the car.
Appealed and fine reduced to £20 but I did not feel this was still fair.
No way of contacting or speaking with them subsequently ended up paying £250 due to the threats of legal action and court dates. They use a middle company to make it impossible to contact them to dispute it. Genuinely felt like I was being scammed. I find it disgusting and consider them and what they do a real leech and burden on society.

False Notice and No Reply

I received a parking notice for 'leaving the site' despite the undeniable fact that I was actually shopping in the Morrisons store ON site at the time. I appealed and provided proof of this but they have totally ignored the appeal. They have also failed to upload it to the AIS so they can't force them to cancel it. An attempt at another appeal says that I am too late to appeal as they only allow one month and the "offence" was less than three weeks ago... Yes, not a typo!

Rogue company fining people by stealth on "private property" immediately outside entrance to Leeds City Railway Station. Spuriously alleges warning signage. Uses scare tactics - as in its own acronym. Not the Great Britain our forefathers fought for. Morally disgusting.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the way this parking charge was handled. The whole process felt unfair, disproportionate, and designed to pressure motorists rather than resolve matters reasonably.

The charge itself was excessive, and the communication around it was unclear and unhelpful. Instead of taking a balanced or customer-focused approach, the company seemed more interested in enforcement than fairness. For something that should have been handled with common sense and transparency, the experience was unnecessarily stressful and frustrating.
What makes this worse is the lack of reasonable discretion and the poor standard of customer service when trying to address the issue. A parking operator should act professionally, explain charges clearly, and deal with concerns in a fair and transparent way. That did not happen here.

Can't win with rules

I arrived early at Leeds train station because the the train of the person I was picking up was delayed. I left because sign says you can't stay long or you will be charged £100. But can't go back within 30mins either. I went back when the person arrived but not drove inside so I don't get charged. Got charged anyway for stopping outside. Can't fkng win.

Don't pay if you know the penalty is not justified.

3 years ago I received a penalty from UKPS. I had stopped my car (not in a parking area) to look at my sat-nav. I have now received over a dozen e-mails and letters from 3 different debt collection agencies. In each case there is a long gap before the next demand comes - presumably hoping I will have thrown away any paper work or proof that the penalty demand is a scam.
I reply every time saying that I want this case to go to court. Never do I get a reply.

Greedy, unscrupulous

Disgusting. I understand there is a law, but there should be also human beings to enforce it.
Parked on disabled place with a badge which was expired, not because of my negligence, but because of fightings between DWP and local Chesterfield council to establish who is bigger, more English and very, very knoledgeble. As a result my badge renewal was 6 months delayed!
However, explained the situation to UKSPC in lenghtly letter. No way,
to those people money doesn't smell!
I am disgusted and from the bottom of my hearth wish every one of them to soon need my disabled parking space, in my sircumstaces!
Bless them and pay them the same way!

only If I could rate them minus… received a ticket which wasn’t my liability but got it just because the car is mine. tried contacting them including posting a letter, no response just more threat letters coming through. after following up with the debt collecting company turned out UKCPS don't even accept transfer of liabilities which is illegal. you cannot challenge anything with them. a bunch of legal scammers. only if it was a fair system where civilians could have their voices heard.
