Unreliable delivery drivers! Want to preface this with how lovely and helpful the actual store workers were in person. Easy ordering, flexible delivery dates and no problem booking it in. Bed itself is solid and looks great. My issue is the people who delivered my items and were meant to assemble the bed (which we paid extra for). Due to a setback on their side, they couldn’t complete the assembly and would be back and be in contact to return. I was stuck at home all day unable to leave as I was awaiting their return. Phone calls straight to voicemail, text messages ignored and had issues getting through to the warehouse initially. Had a family member try call and they answered, they LIED about why they hadn’t come back. Finally get through to the warehouse and after a bit of back and forth they thankfully organised different people to come and complete the assembly which they did professionally and quickly (it is now after 4pm).
What a shame we didn’t have the 2nd driver come the first time as we would have had a completely different experience overall. James Lane I would look at who you sub contract to for deliveries/assembly.

We did not have to wait months for our furniture, good quality at reasonable prices, service was excellent - particularly delivery.

I spent nearly $4,000 on a couch & was told 2.5 weeks later that it was not in stock & I would be refunded. No one called me to let me know or offer any alternatives etc I was just sent an email.
I’m very disappointed & frustrated by this. Especially considering I will now be nearly three weeks behind on ordering/waiting on another couch. I was told in store that the couch was available & it was just waiting on a corner piece that could be picked up at a later date.

While the service was friendly and good I have tried the lasagne in Maria's, Lucca's and today in Sorellas (haven't made it to Le Volte yet). The menues discription say mozzella with bechamel sauce among other things. I have never tasted the bechamel sauce in any restaurant. If not including at least put some ricotta cheese in the lasagna so not so dry and update the menu.

Delivery was charged after I made the payment for the item, so the extra cost was unexpected.
Delivery took months despite the item arriving in my town, the delivery company kept it in holding for a few weeks with no one from James Lane following up with them about delivery.
Wouldn’t recommend.

Super fast turnaround time from purchase to delivery. They have stock of most items too.

DO NOT BUY JAMES LANE IF YOU WANT COMFORT. after being repeatedly scratched by protruding feathers from the Riley and getting no assistance from James Lane i was pushed to elevate to Fair Trading.
James Lane STILL didnt give a shit about my issue. their response;

James Lane advised that;

"Following our assessment, we determined that the concerns raised are consistent with the natural characteristics of feather-filled upholstery and are not the result of a manufacturing defect."

As advised in earlier correspondence, the OFT cannot force a trader to give you a remedy. Unfortunately, this means I am unable to assist you any further, and must close your complaint with us.

Awful comfort. Awful after sales service. Avoid

Completely misguiding website ordering. Customer service totally unhelpful and delivery drivers wouldn’t take back the couch soon seeing it was incorrect, packaging was taken away therefore then company won’t exchange the item! Wouldn’t recommend.

Very good pricing and excellent customer service.
There was a delay in delivery that I don't believe was the fault of James Lane.
However James Lane people were prompt and thorough in their follow-up and communication.

The team were wonderful

The delivery team were so amazing! What friendly guys! So helpful, even with a fault they helped with the process and the person at James Lane was helpful and explained the claim process quickly and efficiently.

Great communication, the 2 guys on the job were very good called to let us know when they would be there. Delivery went smoothly, thanks 😊
