She has gone above and beyond to keep me updated throughout the exchange process, even taking the time to provide personal email updates regarding my item. Her communication, helpfulness and genuine care have made the whole experience so much easier. I really appreciate her excellent customer service and would happily recommend her.

We ordered a bedroom set from Early Settler and when we unpacked our order the colour of the beside tables was different to the colour of the dresser. What followed was a very positive experience when we contacted them about our issue. We received regular updates via email and our issue was delegated to the appropriate staff members to follow up on. The staff went over and above to ensure that our replacement furniture was the same colour and arranged for the new set to be delivered to our home. We are so grateful for the customer service and the support that we received. We would not hesitate to purchase from them again based on our experience.

We purchased this sofa because the price was reasonable and, to be fair, it is comfortable once set up. Unfortunately, the overall experience left us disappointed.

Delivery was around three weeks later than expected, which was frustrating.

The sofa is modular, something I hadn’t appreciated when ordering. In fairness, the website does state that “some assembly is required”. Assembly itself wasn’t difficult, although the instructions were fairly minimal.

The biggest issue is that, despite being sold as a two-seater, the two sections cannot be physically connected together. They simply sit side by side. I find this a very odd design choice, particularly as the backs and arms mean there is really only one practical configuration anyway. I even contacted my nearest store, and they weren’t aware that the sections couldn’t be joined and said they would let their sales team know.

When I contacted online customer support, I felt my concerns were dismissed. I was told the sections are intentionally left unconnected to provide customisability. That explanation doesn’t make sense for a two seater sofa to me, given the design effectively requires the two modules to remain together.

Overall, the sofa is comfortable and reasonably priced, but the late delivery, inability to connect the modules, and average customer support mean I wouldn’t recommend it.

Bought a ton of stuff online in EOFY sale, for new apartment. When the items were delivered there was an issue with one item (desk - some marks on marble top). The customer service folks were excellent - responsive, helpful, considerate, and ultimately provided a gift card to offset the inconvenience. Will definitely continue to shop here - thanks in particular to Sam for her help.

I ordered a table in April. Every month I am sent a text with yet another months delay. This time we were meant to receive it next week, only to receive yet another text telling me its delayed now until September.

Its a dining table - not a house renovation project. To wait 6 months for a simple, imported table is ridiculous.

Do not sell products online you do not have in stock!

I have been a customer of Early Settler for many years. It is my go to place for furniture and homewares. Amazing variety and something different from the norm. Staff are friendly and helpful and customer service is great. Drop by and have a look. You will not be disappointed.

I have purchased a number of times from Early Settler. I have purchased the stunning outdoor Blake dining setting a couple of years ago and everyone admires it. It has the look of solid timber but it is maintenance-free aluminium. I recently purchased the Cody outdoor lights and I love them. They are the perfect outdoor cottage look. I also purchased the flora porecelain stool that I had my eye on for some time. I love it and so do all my friends. I had a problem withe one of the 5 Cody lights I purchased. Early Settler sorted it out and provided a replacement. Once the matter was dealt with by the right person the service was incredible. The new light arrived and the electician came and installed it and I cannot stop admiring how these lights create the perfect final touch on my coastal style cottage.

Avoid Early Settler Epping Victoria if possible. I experienced the lowest level of customer service in store. Apparently their only role is to accept payment. No further assistance was given to me. I contacted Customer Care Service to provide feedback on my experience but they were not open to accepting any negative feedback. I will not shop at Early Settler in future.

In the unfortunate experience of receiving my beautiful new lamp totally broken the help from Early Settler was fantastic! I await a total replacement of my original order! And I got to deal with a HUMAN!

The service I received was fantastic, very good communication and I would highly recommend Early settler, I look forward to dealing with them in the future.

I bought a beautiful bath tub but didn’t realise it was not going to be appropriate for the space we had. I reluctantly needed to return and the Early Settler online team were extremely understanding and patient in the process. I chose to get store credit so now my only problem is picking from all the beautiful options in store.

I wanted to have a piece of furniture delivered but my area wasn’t included in the website, so I asked for a quote. The response was timely and helpful and straightforward. I was given a quote for my address and my item was delivered. When it was delivered, some parts were missing. I emailed customer service for the parts to be delivered. They replied within 24 hours and the parts were sent out within 2 working days. Excellent support from Sam. Thank you so much!

Of course their products are top quality and gorgeous, but it's their customer service that's prompting me to leave this review. I have reached out a few times now about various things, and every time I get a timely, kind, knowledgable response. Cannot recommend highly enough!!
