    Honestly

    Honestly? I would use them to do my laundry every single day. I can’t recommend them more. Everything is delivered pristine, they are really careful with all the clothes, no matter the brand. It’s love at first wash.

    Do not use for wedding dresses!

    ihateironing advertises that they do wedding dress dry cleaning. They are competitively priced (ie. not cheap but average/expected). They collected my dress in a garment bag with the nice heavy duty velvet coat hanger. ihateironing indicated that they do not accept ANY LIABILITY for issues with dry cleaning the dress. This is not market practice for wedding dress dry cleaners and as such, I asked for my dress to be returned. I would find another service. I just received my wedding dress back in an ihateironing bag - all scrunched up and thrown in with total disregard. I found it disrespectful and rude. I will never use ihateironing given this service level for my wedding dress dry cleaning and anything else, if this is what I am to expect.

    An absolute joke of a company

    An absolute joke of a company. I had two decent experiences with them a couple years ago (never involving clothes altering though), then made the mistake of using them again last November

    They fixed my first coat but used a narrower zipper down the front, so it is now quite tight-fitting. But at least the replacement of a couple other zippers on it went well. These were mainly still functional zippers I requested to be replaced from plastic ones to more durable metal ones, seeing as one was already broken. I requested all removed parts to be returned to me along with my fixed coat. Instead, ihateironing apparently lost them at one of their tailors' offices because to this day, two months later, I still don't have them back after being lead on and getting promises they will be retrieved for weeks. Now all of a sudden it is "If I don't hear back from the Operations team by tomorrow, I can't do anything else to solve this" and a notice that my account will be credited with a certain amount of money. To be used on any future services done by ihateironing, of course... thanks, but no thanks - you can't seriously expect me to use your company again

    Also, what was this nonsense about an identical coat (which I also requested to have the zippers replaced on - yes, literally the same work you did on the first one, on the very same model coat(!!!)) not being able to be done? Where is the logic in that? Supposedly, you couldn't wash my coat and therefore couldn't proceed with the zipper replacements - interesting, truly, considering I have been washing it regularly for several years! Also, as mentioned - why then (more or less successfully) complete the alterations on what was literally the same model coat earlier?!?!

    I have also been promised that (since the alterations on the second coat were not done, as an alternative) ihateironing would at least order the requested replacement zippers for the second coat so I can have them replaced elsewhere (seeing as ihateironing themselves were unwilling, unable, both, whatever, to do so). Which of course never was done though - yet another empty promise

    And let's not forget the failure to update me on not just one, but two collection timeslots, so on one day, I waited 60 minutes in vain and on another day 90 minutes

    Also, somebody in the call centre once hung up on me right after telling me I need to phone the courier instead - this was right after the courier failed to return the lost items (along with the first coat, which he did return) and had told me he had no information on the lost parts' whereabouts

    Again, thanks for nothing and I hope your customers treat you just as you treat them

    Edit: I just tried to submit additional information via some email I received on 16 January, but it is telling me "You can't submit additional information - deadline has passed"

    I use the company every week

    I use the company every week. It’s a really convenient service where you can book online, often on the same day and have your washing turned around in 2 days. They fold everything and often sort it by type which makes putting it away really easy. The only thing I’d say is they are very inconsistent with their pick up and drop off times. Often they text asking to come early to collect my orders and I reply no. The driver almost always comes early anyway. Although they will come back later if you ask it’s very inconvenient when you’re in the middle of something and you’ve already book an agreed time. I’ve been using them for probably a year though and only once have they not delivered on the day the said the would so they’re very consistent for days, just not times

    Not satisfied

    Some clothes come back with discoloration or with the fabric quality worsened. Other clients’ items (such as small towels, socks) misplaced in my bundle.
    Towels and bedding don’t smell fresh as if no fabric softener has been used.
