The Home Building & Surveying Company Recenzje

Ritchard Tysoe visited and gave an honest and frank assessment of the situation. Could quite easily have sold us something we didn`t need, but gave us his opinion and suggested ways to counteract the mould issue. Would highly recommend

A very professional company. Everyone from James who did the survey to the team who did the work were brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Richard visited to survey our damp problem. He was polite, professional and gave clear and honest advice.
We would happy recommend Home Building & Surveying Company.

Sam and Bob were incredibly helpful, courteous and hard-working throughout, and I'm very happy with the finished work.

Everything was outstanding. We were quite daunted by the extent of work needed but felt we were in excellent hands from beginning to end. Sam and Bob are highly skilled professionals, polite and considerate, communicate well and do beautiful work. They were punctual, worked very hard and were extremely tidy, especially given the messiness of the job.I never thought I would say it was a pleasure to have damp proofing done but Sam and Bob made it so.

It is job satisfaction that made the experience great for me.

The 2 gentlemen that you sent to complete the work are a credit to your company very helpful fantastic in explaining what was being done and very professional

Excellent workmanship, the two chaps who completed the work were lovely, very professional and paid great attention to detail. The work was finished to timescale.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional and trustworthy company that takes the time to assess your needs and do a thorough job - our damp surveyor Richard was full of sound, clear and reliable information and advice and was clearly passionate about providing a high quality and reassuring service at what can be an anxious time.

Richard was prompt and gave us the free advice we needed, with no hard sell. Thank you!

All round quality service
Everyone that we met or interacted with at the company represented themselves extremely well. From the initial surveyor all the way down the line. The start date was pushed back several times but this was communicated by email each time and they worked with us to find mutually convenient times to reschedule. They started the three-day job on a Friday but still worked it out so that we had minimal mess and a functioning kitchen over the weekend. The friendly electricians were extremely neat as was the lovely gentleman who came to do the plastering work. The promised to collect the waste from the process and left our front garden (where we had left the waste to be collected) spick and span. They even took the time to salvage a plant that was being stored in a rubbish bag and put it to one side so it would not get damaged during the clearing. Definitely five-star and I have already recommended to family and friends. Thanks to the whole team.

Just the way you deal with people. and i will recommend you to people for your good work and how well you treated me when others did not. Some companies did not even bother to get back to me. their loss.

The survey was arranged very quickly and the report supplied with a couple of hours of the survey. I had plenty of contact whilst deciding on the work. I agreed, paid deposit and was advised on the telephone it would be 1 day work. I had a call a few days before the work to be completed, if I would like the work to start earlier, declined due to work commitments. The work commenced and it was at that point i was advised by the lovely person completing the work this would be at least 3 day. During this time the weather was not good, hampering the pace of the job. (understandable). I was expecting the job to be completed later in the week, no one turned up, the office never kept me informed and I spent time chasing the chap completing my job. Not impressed with their customer service, experience was stressful for the job to be completed. As soon as the job was completed within 20 mins I received 3 emails chasing for payment. -- I would suggest people air caution as I am still waiting for a call back on my concerns nearly 2 weeks on.

Great professional experience and a good result- hopefully it will resolve our damp issues. Good communication and customer service. I would recommend this company.

The job was tackled with focus and attention to detail and was a very skilled application at every point. The young man was friendly and very helpful at all times.
A great job was achieved. It was fascinating to watch an artisan at work, I shall not hesitate to recommend your firm to any of my friends with listed properties.

The job was handled very professionally from start to finish. Customer care were very polite and accommodating in giving us good advice and assistance whenever we called on them.
Our compliments to the fitters Reece and Nathan for doing such a great job in K Rendering our property to such a fine finish. They were both very polite and conscientious workers, right up to leaving our property clean and tidy to the end.

Survey was carried out really nice and easy and was given multiple options on what was best to sort the issues on my house. Always really easy to get hold of or talk to someone from the office. Jack and Harvey carried out the work on the house and done a great job and really good finish to everything. Left everything really clean and tidy when they left as well.

To whom it may concern.
My son came to stay with me for a few days prior to the 15th September 2025 and within a short period he was pointing out that my home was suffering from an excess of rising damp.
As a result, my daughter contacted “Home Buildings and Surveying Company” who within a few days sent Michael Cross, who came to survey the ingress of damp, which was found to be considerable.
From that point on everything moved at a pace, so on Monday 15th September 25 two workmen one, by the name of Jack who was in charge and Harvey.
After the initial introductions, work commenced at a pace and was literally non-stop from the time of arrival to the time of departure each day, with due consideration for myself and my daughter who had to remain in the house.
During the four days spent working in my home, there was constant emphasis on making sure that the work was carried out to a high standard. Because they both worked so well together as a team, with both carrying out tasks with enthusiasm and pride in their work, it was a pleasure to see the end results.
I won’t go on, other than to say, “I feel privileged that both Jack and Harvey were allocated to work on my home”
“Thank You “to all concerned.

The whole process from the original survey on the rising damp, the report setting out the work required to the actual work having been carried out was extremely professional. Each member of the team explained what was needed and how it was to be carried out. It was completed to time and cost.

The Professionalism from the Whole team was brilliant.
From first contacting them on behalf of my elderly mum. They we very concerned that it would be ideal if I was there as well to understand the process.
Sales rep was definitely not pushie, and very knowledgeable, even told us they are not the cheapest but clearly explained why and the quality of materials used plus a 20 year guarantee.
Actual work performed, was of a high standard, stated it would take only 2 days ( which it was). Also kept the dust to the minimum possible. We are very happy with the work carried. Now I have repaint the front room and hall. Thanks for the extra work. 🤣👍
