we made three bookings for transfers Crete-Santorini, Santorini-Milos, Milos-Santorini. Clear process, in advance information by sms and email about scheduling changes. All perfect !

I was traveling with my wife and I…

I was traveling with my wife and I booked 2 seats and checked in as required for the company. Even when the seats seems to be together (12K and 13K) seats were in different rows, then I have to talk to other passangers to change. The second thing was the aircon. It is summertime and we use to wear summer clothes. It was impossible to stay on summer clothes on the seats because of the extreme cold airflow on my seat. The third thing is the seat. It did not stay at its possition and continously went backwards. The forth thing the costs of the coffee. 14 euros 2 coffees, and they did not supply what ordered. It was not a nice trip, even when we pay a "business fee".

As you understand we are not a ferry company so we cannot be held responsible for the air-conditioning, the seats or the rates at the café of any vessel. As far as the seating numbers are concerned please note that these are always given automatically to be consequent for the passengers of the same booking.
Therefore we feel it would be fair that you rate the ferry company and not our agency.
If you wish, you are welcome to inform us about your booking number, so that we can place a formal complaint to the ferry company on your behalf.

Les horaires étaient relativement bien…

Les horaires étaient relativement bien respectés en cette période de rush et de mesures Covid !
Les fauteuils sont très confortables ainsi que les bateaux... Dommage qu'on vous attribue des sièges réservés qui ne sont pas respectés au final...

Always late

Our ferry was rescheduled 3 times. Although it doesn't make sense, I had to pay to keep my originally scheduled departure time. The ferries were minimum 2 hours late for departure each time. Wasted 2 of our vacation days at the port. I would suggest scheduling evening ferries to not spend the sunlight with your luggage at a port.

We would like to clarify that we are an online agency and not a ferry company who changed your itinerary or had a delay and therefore we feel that this rating does not reflect our services to you.

Concerning the trip Naxos to Mykonos that you had booked for 10:40 and the ferry company, Seajets later changed it to be at 11:40 you asked us to change it for you in order to depart earlier. The earlier ferry they offered was more expensive as we have already explained to you in our email communication and this was the reason that you were requested to pay a difference of 12 euro. Afterwards, when we had already changed your tickets, they cancelled the earlier departure and transferred you to the 11:40 ferry again automatically. Therefore we contacted them and they accepted to refund to you even more than you had paid as ticket rate difference due to your inconvenience. As you know, we have therefore already refunded 18.85 euro 2 weeks ago to your account.

We really hope that you understand that we are an online agency and our responsibility is to handle all your amendment and cancellation requests and to keep you updated concerning any possible changes in your itineraries when we are notified about them. We cannot affect the itineraries of the ferry companies or be held responsible for their delays.

We always remain at your disposal for any further clarification.

Problems with information

Problems with information
I want share some impressions that might be helpful for you and for your future clients.
So we’ve booked a ferry to Santorini from Heraclio.
We have approached to the port 1.5 hours before at 6-30 the departure as was recommended in the ticket instructions. And it was definitely saved our souls. Although we’ve filled a health reports that were required to fill previously there were no information about need of PCR text or rapid test that are MANDATORY to perform before embarkation. So personnel refused to embark us. We had to find a taxi, after that get to hospital to perform rApid test, to receive a results and to come to the vessel before 8-00. It was very very nervous and it was only because the were no information on your SITE!!! We have been vaccinated 10 days before the trip! But it also did not help! Because it’s required to be vaccinated 14 days at least before trip day.
So we were in time, but without any desire and mood.
Please in future right all the requirements CAREFULLY!!!

Why just 3 stars instead of 5

Why just 3 stars instead of 5? In contrast to the airline companies, the company did not keep its clients posted about frequently changing requirements to travel between islands during covid pandemia. We experienced a lot of trouble because of this. But the rest was excellent except for extremely slow bartenders.

We would be happy to receive more information about what sort of trouble you faced and which your booking number was so that we can check this issue further. Furthermore we would like to know on which ferry the bartenders were slow so that we can forward this information to the ferry company. As you understand, we ferriesingreece.com are an online agency and cannot be held responsible for the services offered by the bartenders on each ferry.

Not a bad experience in terms of…

Not a bad experience in terms of booking process BUT issuing tickets were my 10 year old gets to sit not only on a different seat to me and his dad but different level of the boat???!!! Not great. Thankfully the crew were very helpful and put us all together (this happened both ways) but I can’t stop thinking about what would have happened if the boat was busier. Also collection charge from the travel agency on the port was €8 and I understand this has nothing to do with this company but it is still worth mentioning for others to avoid as having the tickets on your phone can do the same job and it’s free! I just went for it because my phone is old and it’s playing up in the Greek heat.

We would like to inform you that the seat numbers given to the passengers of the same booking are always in consequence upon availability. In some cases when the vessel is almost fully booked it can happen that some passengers of the same booking are separated. This is automatically done by the central ferry booking system, and we do not have the possibility to control or change it. We are very happy that the crew on the vessel could make the needed rearrangements for you in order to sit together. Concerning the fee that you paid for printing the tickets, as you mentioned, it could have been avoided if you used the web check in service that we described in your booking confirmation. We always recommend this way for the tickets’ delivery for the ferry companies that offer this service, in order to avoid supplementary printing fees and to avoid waiting in the queues of the port kiosks.

Trip Santorini to Crete- AWFUL- CHAOTIC !! They charge…

Trip Santorini to Crete- They charge you to print your tickets as the ridiculous high price isn't enough...
The onboarding to the ferry is chaotic- think about 300 people trying to get in and only 2 staffs checking the Covid documentation, yes thats it. August, very hot weather, you have to take your luggage, sweat as hell and wait a long time to actually seat.
Please book your seat and avoid the back where has access to the outside area- its noisy and never gets cool because of the constant open/close of the doors.
I only take this ferry because its the only option and maybe thats why the service and conditions are so poor for such a high price that you pay on your tickets : no competition at all.

We would like to inform you that we have found that the booking you refer to was with the vessel Santorini Palace of Minoan Lines ferry company.

Kindly note that we Ferriesingreece.com are an online agency selling ferry tickets for most Greek Ferry companies and as you understand we are not responsible for the waiting time and the chaotic boarding procedure as you described it. Concerning the fee for printing the tickets, please kindly note that we had alerted you about it in the booking confirmation email that we sent you and moreover we had also sent you instructions for Web Check-in by which you could have avoided to pay this fee.

Finally on the route Thira to Heraklion there are usually two ferry companies travelling, Seajets and Minoan lines and Aegeon Pelagos every Saturday so the truth is that there are other companies to select from.

Due to the above facts we believe that this rating should go to the ferry company Minoan Lines and not to us Ferriesingreece.com as it does not concern the services provided by ourselves.

Excellent during Covid changes.

Very reasonable and great to deal with. Refunded our tickets immediately when Covid stopped our travels, and then rebooked when we could travel.

2/3 ferries were cancelled last minute, but we didn't hear about this until an alternative and new tickets had been booked, so no complaints from us. Especially, as alternative was a much faster and more expensive trip, but at no extra cost to us.

Would recommend and use again.

Milos to Pireus on a Monday morning

Our trip was from Milos to Pireus.
Excellent experience, on the business class.Easy boarding with all the required checkings for Covid 19 pass along with the boarding pass in an electronic form. The only difficulty was the Health Form, which we had to fill them again on a paper, although we had it ready electronically as per the web page. Polite staff and no big delays..

It was gnarly

vehicle that has high amounts and no logic. Please note that the order is made on a Russian sofa that you have on the website and it is my mother tongue !!! When we arrived at the BLUE STAR offices they could not do anything because the cruise tickets were ordered through you. It turned out clearly that the cruise had to cost us one side with 1 small car we had and 2 people a total of 76 euros. You owed us back and forth for 460 euros !!!!! We demand a refund immediately, otherwise we will post the whole affair on social networks

Γ Κατά την παραγγελία στον ιστότοπό σας, παραπλανάτε τους πελάτες εκ των προτέρων και τους χρεώνετε για το μεγαλύτερο εμπορικό όχημα που έχει υψηλά ποσά και χωρίς λογική. Λάβετε υπόψη ότι η παραγγελία γίνεται σε έναν ρωσικό καναπέ που έχετε στον ιστότοπο και είναι η μητρική μου γλώσσα !!! Όταν φτάσαμε στα γραφεία BLUE STAR δεν μπορούσαν να κάνουν τίποτα επειδή τα εισιτήρια κρουαζιέρας παραγγέλθηκαν μέσω σας. Αποδείχθηκε ξεκάθαρα ότι η κρουαζιέρα έπρεπε να μας κοστίσει στη μία πλευρά με 1 μικρό αυτοκίνητο που είχαμε και 2 άτομα συνολικά 76 ευρώ. Μας χρωστάτε πίσω και πίσω για 460 ευρώ !!!!! θα δημοσιεύσουμε ολόκληρη την υπόθεση στα κοινωνικά δίκτυα

Kindly note that the booking 223**0840 that you made with us www.ferriesingreece.com was for a trip with Levante Ferries from Kilini to Zakynthos with return. We never received a booking from you for a trip with Blue Star ferries with booking number 30587562.

So we shall assume that the problem you try to describe about paying a higher ticket rate for your vehicle obviously concerns a booking that you made on another website?

If yes, please be so kind to contact them directly as we are not responsible for bookings made on different websites and we are neither able to help with such bookings as we have no access to any information about them.

Good experience on the boat but lack of…

Good experience on the boat with Anes but lack of information in the booking confirmation. We walked 1 hour to the ferry office to get our tickets but this office is closed on sunday and there isn’t an address for the port

the online booking did not work at all. we had to go the the agency which took us more than 2 hours! the onboarding was quite stressful - more that 300 people entering the ship at the same time

Thank you for your review. It is appreciated. As we receive thousands of bookings daily without any problems and since your review does not include a booking number or full name so that we can locate it, we shall assume that

you faced problems with the online web check-in that some ferry companies offer. Obviously you were unable to complete the web check in, in order to get your boarding cards electronically, and therefore you had to go to the port kiosk to pick them up.

We are sorry if this was the case and wish that you had contacted us for help before your trip date so that we could have helped you accordingly in order to avoid waiting in the queue.

We understand that it is quite frustrating to travel with so many passengers during this period, we would like to assure you though, that embarkation and disembarkation and generally the ferry travel is being performed in accordance to the regulations of the Greek Government, and all passengers entering the ferries are wearing masks and need to show the according health certificates before embarkation.

No information via email

No information via email, sms, etc. about an obvious delay. No information about a belayed arrival at Mykonos new port, etc. We missed our flight to Athens due to these delays and didn't receive a refund or anything else instead.

We would like to inform you that we contacted the ferry company Seajets, to find out about the delay you mentioned and to check why we had not been informed about it so that we could alert you via email and sms.

The reply of Seajets was:
"There was a small delay due to the weather conditions and traveler documents inspections by the port authorities on the 25th that passengers were not informed about since it was quite small, instead of 09:55 the vessel departed at 10:35 with arrival at 11:30. There is no provision of reimbursement for delays of less than an hour especially when force majeure reasons led to the delay."

We are very sorry that you booked a flight that you could not reach on time due this 40 minutes later arrival on Mykonos. We never recommend booking flights so tight as delays in the ferry arrival times are normal due to high winds, or heavy traffic.

Everything was perfectly on time!!

Everything was perfectly on time!!! The employees were great. We were reminded to keep our masks on in an effort to keep us safe. Travelers were helpful to each other when we were getting our luggage/ bags to exit.

I will definitely be using Ferries In Greece again!
