Good online sale office for ferries

Good online sale office for ferries. All communications clear and punctual.
We were asked to fill-in an online health form and a pre-boarding paper that nobody controlled, As a matter of fact at boarding only the green pass (covid vaccination certificate) was mandatory. But this is likely due to legislation and not to Ferriesingreece

First of all did the rapid test and…

First of all did the rapid test and filled in the form to be able to board this ferry WHICH nobody checked! Means wasted the money and time.
Second: the ferry was delayed for 1.5 hours.
Third: I had to pay extra money for printing the ticket.

As we can see you had booked a ticket with us for a trip with Aegeon Pelagos to travel from Santorini to Piraeus on the 16th of August.

On your booking confirmation we offer a link with an alert notice that encouraged you to study carefully the Covid-19 Protocols and according to which, at that point (because now the Protocols have become stricted) we informed you that - Travellers from the islands to the mainland : same rules about test as above, also a self-test declaration of less than 24 hours is accepted. Meaning that a simple self-test was enough.

We are sorry that you seem to have missed this information and made a rapid test which was not needed.

As far as the delay is concerned, we contacted Aegeon Pelagos and they informed us that it was a not predictable delay caused by the traffic on the ports due to peak season and therefore they could not have informed us about it in advance.

Concerning the 50 cents fee that some central offices charge for printing out the ticket we would like to remind you that this is notified to you both when you select the pick up method of your tickets and on your booking confirmation, we would like to clarify though, that not all the central offices charge such a fee.

We always remain at your disposal for any further information.

ANNULATION DERNIERE MINUTE

J'ai réservé via ce site 10 jours avant le départ en ferry. La veille du départ, je reçois un SMS m'informant que le départ ne se fera pas à cause du mauvais temps. J'ai donc dû trouver moi même une solution pour arriver sur une des Iles. Sur le port du Pirée, près d'Athènes, il n'y avait personne pour nous renseigner. Pour se faire rembourser les tickets, c'est une mission. Ils veulent absolument que je leur renvoie les tickets papiers alors que j'ai réservé via Internet en mode dématérialisée.

Nous tenons à vous informer que lorsqu'un voyage est annulé en raison du mauvais temps, c'est quelque chose qui est décidé par les autorités portuaires quelques heures avant votre heure de départ, c'est donc la raison pour laquelle vous en avez été informé seulement le jour même.
Cependant, notre service de réservation répond aux appels à partir de 7 heures du matin, nous aurions donc certainement pu vous aider avec des instructions sur la façon d'acheter de nouveaux billets pour un autre départ ultérieur si vous nous aviez appelé.

Nous tenons également à préciser que, conformément à la politique de toutes les compagnies de ferry que vous avez acceptées avant de procéder à cette réservation, pour annuler les billets de ferry, nous devons les avoir à portée de main, car les billets doivent être retournés à la compagnie de ferry, afin d'être remboursé. En cas d'annulation d'itinéraire, notre compagnie n'est responsable d'aucun autre remboursement en dehors du tarif du billet de ferry. Ce tarif ne sera remboursé qu'une fois que nous aurons reçu les billets non utilisés.

Le principal problème était donc que lorsque vous nous avez demandé le remboursement, vous aviez déjà imprimé les billets d'embarquement sur papier physiques dans une agence, sinon nous aurions pu les rembourser sans qu'il soit nécessaire de votre part de nous renvoyer les billets. Heureusement, nous les avons déjà reçus car vous nous les avez envoyés par la poste et vous avez déjà été remboursé du prix total du billet pour le voyage spécifique !

It is a good site

It is a good site, it works, but I paid an extra fee to be able to change the ferries if I want, but to do that is not easy, you have to contact them, is not online, also I regret to buy with them because after I chose all the ferries I discovered that I have to pay an extra fee for them, that in another app I didn't need to pay this fee and would be the same prices for the ferry. So it works, but if you research there is other better options without a fee.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to inform you that the procedure to make an amendment to your tickets is very easy via an email.
You simply send us the request via email and we reply to you with the provided options in order to proceed. Since you had bought the business service fee package, you would not have been requested to pay any amendment fee if you requested us to change your tickets, while on the other websites that you mention that would not have charged a service fee, you would certainly pay an amendment fee if you requested a change in your tickets with them.
Furthermore, please note that most of the online agencies globally charge Service Fees. This is done to be able to cover the expenses needed in order to offer to you:
- Premium Service and assistance for whatever problem or question you may have.
- Information by email and SMS, as soon as the ferry company notifies us of a cancelled or changed itinerary, in order to try to find the best and the most convenient solution for you.
- Fast replies to your emails.

war in Ordnung, wir wurden einen Tag vorher nochmal an die Fähre erinnert. Expliziert wurden wir leider nicht über die Verspätungen der Fähren informiert.
Leider war die Fährgesellschaft Zantes nicht in der Lage einigermaßen ihren Zeitplan einzuhalten. Wir hatten drei Überfahrten, jeder hatte ein bis eineinhalb Stunden Verspätung. Ist halt blöde, wenn man statt um 20:00 Uhr erst um 21:30 ankommt. Damit ist der gesamte Abend gelaufen...
Zantes berechnet anscheinend die reinen Fahrzeiten und das doch aufwändigere Be- und Entladen der LKW´s und ggf. Autos nicht! Die Zeitberechnung sollte einfach überarbeitet werden.
Viele andere Fährgesellschaften schaffen es ja auch einigermaßen pünktlich zu sein!

Must be e-tickets

First of all I didn’t like the policy of collecting ticket it should be e-ticket it’s bother me lot to find the agency as well as for that I was waist my time whereas I was in holiday

Negative experience

Il servizio offerto non è male ma fortemente condizionato da quello scadente fornito dalla compagnia Sea-Jets che non dovrebbero più rappresentare.
La sea-Jeats non merita nessuna stella, scarsa professionalità ed poca efficienza. Compagnia pessima almeno per la mia esperienza. Il viaggio di andata del 21/08 delle 11:55 è stato cancellato e comunicato solo un giorno prima. Inoltre c'è stato un ritardo di 2 ore. Il viaggio di ritorno del 02/09 delle 9:55 sempre cancellato e comunicato solo un giorno prima e cambiato con un orario che rischiava di far perdere il volo. Dopo aver fatto presente il rischio è stato di nuovo ripristinato il vecchio viaggio delle 9:55 che poi comunque è partito alle 10.30 con evidente ritardo e che ho dovuto chiedere con insistenza di poter prenderlo.
The Sea-Jeats doesn’t deserve any stars, lack of professionalism and lack of efficiency. Bad company at least for my experience. The outward journey of 21/08 of 11:55 was cancelled and communicated only a day before. Also, there was a two-hour delay. The return trip of 02/09 of 9:55 always cancelled and communicated only one day before and changed with a time that risked losing the flight. After having pointed out the risk was again restored to the old trip of 9:55 which then anyway left at 10.30 with obvious delay and that I had to ask many times to change to take it.

Easy to book

Easy to book, we found all the information on the website.
However, it's easy to book by ferriesingreece but then the service done by the boat company is not as good as it seems (we booked 3 trips and we had to around 2 hours of delay for each - it's impossible to plan a trip accurately with the boat company last minute changes)

Customer service is excellent.

Customer service is excellent.
The Pb is that the shipping company has cancelled a ferry from Paros to Piraeus on 26:8/2021 at 6.45AM.
We had to shorten our stay of one full day
This is totally apolling from the company but ferrieningreece not to blame for it

Good overall experience

Good overall experience. Most people wearing masks, staff were friendly and booking was easy. There were slight delays to one of the journeys but nothing major. Would book again

Και στις δύο περιπτώσεις υπάρχουν έξοδα συναλλαγής, και καθώς όπως είδατε, δεν χρεώνουμε κάποιο επιπλέον κόστος για την παροχή της υπηρεσίας μας (service fee), δεν υπάρχει η δυνατότητα επί του παρόντος να μην χρεώνονται ούτε και τα έξοδα συναλλαγής.

Nobody care about wearing masks, toilets were out of function most of the time, very low hygienic conditions.

Efficient reservation portal and support; some extra fees should be avoided.

Very easy and efficient portal for reservation: all companies and schedules are clearly visible and comparable.
Reservation is very celar and straightforward.
Pricing policy is not so clean, though: besides the portal's fee over the ferry price, some extra costs appear along the way: a few € for some unspeciefied tax, an extra fee if paying by PayPal, and finally, at the port, 2€ for PRINTING the tickets (some companies do not issue electronic tickets, but also do no send a printable ticket, such as by pdf file: you thus need to take a LONG crowded queue and pay 2€ to get it printed at the port!).
Customer support was very efficient and stable, responding to my complaints about pricing (albeit with no change...),
Very detailed and clear resumes of fares and schedules are sent by email and SMS's.
On the return fare, the carrier first cancelled our departure replacing it with a delayed one, then delayed it once more. As a result we had to reschedule ($$$) our flight. Of course, this is NOT the reponsability of the portal, which constantly provided timely and clear updates, although in the end it declined my complainst stating that contract allows carriers to change their schedule at will.

We would like to clarify that before proceeding to the payment of the booking the user is clearly informed about the total rate he is going to pay with a detailed analysis.
It is also mentioned at the point where the user selects the method of picking up the tickets, that some port agencies may charge a fee of 0.5 or 1 euro per ticket for printing it.
We fully agree with you that this practice should not be needed and that all ferry companies should be able to offer e-tickets in order to avoid such fees and also in order not to need to wait in any queues.
Each year more and more ferry companies offer the e-ticket option so we are very positive that soon such practices will not exist.

We would like to inform you that we found by your name that you had booking order 244203 for a trip with Fast ferries from Piraeus to Syros and from Syros to Santorini and Santorini to Heraklion with Seajets.

We contacted both ferry companies to find out if there had been any delays and we were informed that indeed your trip with Seajets faced a delay of 1.5 hours on your trip Syros to Santorini, due to unforeseen technical issue on the date of your trip that they could not know in advance in order to inform us.
Furthermore they accepted to refund you 25% of the ticket rate for the specific trip, as a commercial gesture due to this inconvenience so we have refunded you accordingly with 77.7 euro and the amount shall show on your account in a few working days depending on your bank.

Please kindly note that we www.ferriesingreece.com are an online agency and not the ferry company so we feel that it is not fair to place this rating on our company as we can not affect the itineraries of Seajets and consequently we can not be held responsible for any possible delays.
