Easy booking, Fast checkin BUT...

couple of kitchen tools not present (kitchen kit paid for)
No warm water during full week (Anode rod not installed)
Failing battery in the rv after day 3. No partial refund or other compensation proposed

Nous avons loué en janvier un Cresson Journey doubble wheel à Tomisato près de Tokyo pour un mois.
Le véhicule était sensé être assez récent mais le deuxième jour, après avoir tiré le frein à main dans un parking enneigé et légèrement en pente pour plus de sécurité, le frein à main s'est décroché et faisait levier dans le vide. Nous avions alors aucune chance de desserrer les disques des freins.
L'assistance nous a baladé durant des heures au téléphone avec des frais d'itinérance exorbitants et blocage de notre forfait téléphonique pour au final ne pas venir nous assister. Nous avons attendu 14 heures, le fuel commençait à manquer pour le chauffage avec des températures à -10C. Rien, ils nous ont juste laissé tombé.
Ils nous ont accusé d'avoir roulé avec le frein à main alors qu'on était simplement à l'arrêt. Ils ont révoqué notre contrat sans aucune compensation, ni véhicule de remplacement rein.
La réparation aurait pris plus de deux semaines, nous avons alors été contraints de continuer notre ski trip en voiture de location et hôtels.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Vor allem Milan ist ein super Mitarbeiter der uns alles super verständlich erklärt hat und wir konnten so oft nachfragen wie wir wollten :)
Der Van war bei super vorbereitet und wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt! ☺️

The ease of pickup and drop off was great. The walkaround was thorough, informative and helpful. The agent was very knowledgable about the rv. My wife and I were able to travel in a way we had been dreaming of with mo worries. As first time rv renters, we will 100% rent an rv from El Monte again.

When I picked up my RV Rental. Something was broken so it took a little while to fix. Then, they had to fill up the RV with gas so that added more time. All this should have been completed prior to pick up. Other than that, the staff was good and professional.

Worked great, took a trip while it was cold, the furnace was the bomb, but the insulation was even better since it hardly used any LP! Employees were great at the run down of vehicle operation as it was our first time using one. Great overall experience.

Great Experience. Would highly recommend everyone to bin the hotels and grab an RV...... Enjoy the freedom.

The booking and pick up process was very smooth and seamless. El Monte answered all of our questions with professionalism and courtesy.

My family and I had a wonderful time the staff was welcoming and answered all my questions . I only have two recommendations ,the first being I did not have a septic hose to drain the rv it was not in the rv and two I had ordered a rv with a roll out canopy and when I went for pick up it had been broken, so I wasnt able to enjoy that with my family . Other than that it was a great trip and the customer service was great and also gave me some perks due to the two items that were missing

Setting up my pickup appointment, checking out my RV, having the sytems explained to me, and the dropoff process were all friendly and easy. The exact model I had reserved was not available so they upgraded me to a brand new, slightly larger model that still worked with the limited space of my destination. I would absolutely rent from them again and I plan to be back annually.

I pick up the RV when checking things out the refrigerator wasn’t working and never work they never test the slide out didn’t work I call roadside assistance tuck long time to return my call went they call back I have to do resetting control system I thing is not acceptable is a vacation i soupost to have good time not work Al so the propain gas tank was broken can’t refill I think for the next person don’t relice rv the is in not working is sad

Great RV. We spend a month in it and it was clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. The only thing that didn’t work was the dvd player. But a whole month without the tv was great! (Even though we could have watched it) Highly recommend

I specifically reserved the smallest Class-C motorhome. When I went to pick it up, I was informed none were available. While I was offered a larger vehicle, even at reduced cost, it is not what I wanted. I was very specific about wanting the smallest Class-C motorhome.

I would like to rent from you again this coming September, how can we ensure I actually get the type of vehicle I specifically ask for?

On the brighter side, Marissa was an absolute delight to work with.

The RV was really nice. It wasn't the highest of quality, but it was new and clean, easy to drive and operate. It met our needs. We would probably rent a little larger one next time, but that was on us not the company.
The check in process was terrible, if I am being honest. We had an appointment to pick up and waited over two hours to even be taken over for paperwork. We drove almost three hours to pick it up, and the whole process took well over three hours with the wait and check in - so 6+ hours total plus the 3 hour drive home.... a whole day just for pick up. I tried to talk to a few employees and they just skirted around us. I believe our RV was not the one they gave us and they had to scramble to find one.... At check in, we had preregistered everything and I was told it wasn't correct and we had to completely redo everything, including charging our card nearly $5,000 that they said they would reimburse. That took a week..... I felt like they were pretty unprofessional at the front desk and when asked about a discount that I had previously entered, they said that was for preregistering..... which we had already done. ..... it was a little shady.
The gentleman and lady that helped us with going over the RV before we left were great.

Had rented for years at the Van Nuys branch, always great. It closed so we used the Firestone Blvd HQ. Absolutely horrible experience. Check out wasnt bad. The RV was rough with a lot of little things wrong with it. The Fridge stopped working after a day. Mirrors wouldn't adjust, doors didn't latch well. The return was as the worst. Park the RV in the turn in lane. Wait 10 minutes, nothing. Go inside, wait 10 minutes to be told that someone will be out in a minute. Wait 10 more minutes, use the phone outside that connects inside to be told "well everyone is on break." Less then an hour after they opened? Finally get someone out to turn it in and when I mentioned the fridge they said that the best way to solve it is to "turn the fridge off for 24 hours." So what's the point of having a fridge? I can go on, about the staff arguing that it is a "Brand New RV, we only got it last month" with 45K miles? I rented annually, now never again from El Monte. They buy year or two old RV's that have high miles and run them into the ground before they sell them at a premium. Never again.
