I have rented with El Monte on 2 occasions now and bot times the vehicle was modern, comfortable, and easy to adjust to... and more importantly the costumer service was fun and excellent.

Buen vehiculo, limpieza, puntualidad, idiomas para comunicarnos, el precio asequible en mi caso. No entendi porque lo de no devolucion de millas, porque haces un calculo aproximado , cuando pasas te cobran pero si te sobran pirque no te reembolsan??

Booked a 5 day rental, paid for all of the extra insurance etc. picked it up Thursday, the RV fridge wasn’t cold, and was told it would take overnight to cool. It didn’t cool and after calling service they directed me to come back. Lost a whole day, so my 5 day trip became 4. They put me in another one after realizing they couldn’t fix it which was nice. I brought it back 20 min after 11 am and they said they would waive the late fee. Which was ok, not really a fair trade off for being charged 100 percent of the rental and insurance, only able to use it for 80% of the time losing a whole day. They didn’t offer any further adjustments so the rating reflects that. The RV was nice, class A, which was a good size and comfortable for 4 people.

We did a road trip in the US in June 2025 and overall the trip itself was absolutely amazing. However, there were several issues with the rental experience.

First, the vehicle we received was not the one we had originally booked. On the pickup morning in Miami, we were instructed to call the location before arrival, but no one answered the phone. The Miami office itself was quite run-down and did not give a very professional impression.

The vehicle was new, but especially the interior was in poor condition. The radio literally fell inside the dashboard, and one of the slide-outs broke during the trip. On the positive side, communication with roadside assistance was smooth and we did receive help when needed. Still, the vehicles seem to be poorly maintained overall.

Along the route, the service points in Las Vegas and at the final drop-off location in Los Angeles were excellent — modern, professional, and very helpful.

Despite these issues, the road trip itself was fantastic and we created unforgettable memories.

Our RV rental experience was amazing. We rented a very large RV and had never driven anything like it before. El Monte walked us through all the operations, which took about an hour and a half. We loaded up and took our one way trip, driving around 2,000 miles. We had a wonderful time and had no issues along the way. The RV was clean, comfortable, and functioned beautifully. We definitely recommend using El Monte Rentals to anyone looking to take a one-way, cross country trip with kids and teens.

An old, beat-up motorhome with plenty of scratches and dents—nothing like the photos online. We had booked the 'Premium' category, but upon pickup, the generator exhaust pipe was detached and the rearview camera wasn't working. Although they fixed both in a reasonable amount of time, it delayed our vacation. To top it off, they charged us the maximum damage fee for a dent on the side, which fell just below the insurance deductible. So, they pocketed $1,200 in cash but won't even fix the dent.

The motor home was well equipped with everything they said it would have. Easy to drive.

Service was good.
Pickup was too short. No detailed instructions.
We would come back if you would have another president…

I like how you say this time as for the trip I get there for a pickup and you locked up while I was at the gate then when I called the calf number they sent someone back out for the rental and by the time I got home it was too late to go that day and I still had to pay for that day also I had my own toll pass and did not want there's but was still charged for two tolls and a fee for using it and half way through the trip the fridge died and was told to get coolers that just ruined and soaked everything it seems like every time there is problems when I rent but this time was the worse I tried to contact about it and was mostley ignored and still had to pay the price Witch I feel is very bad customer service I would have think long and hard to rent again I am sorry to say

Rv was in perfect condition. We did a one way rental and flew home so the leave something/take something shelves at both ends were heaven sent. Staff was very patient in explaining all the features of the RV. I would say I’d do it again except that my wife liked it so much we bought our own rv.

Friendly staff. Efficient with reservation process. Highly recommend El Monte RV when needing a RV.

First of all, I’d like to start out by saying that the staff at the Amonte location are outstanding! They did an absolute great job. On the other hand, the RV that I I rented this time was very disappointing. There was no TV in the bedroom, but there was a place for one the toilet valve leak leaked water filling the black tank three times when it shouldn’t have filled completely even once I know what I’m doing. I’ve been using RVs for over 20 years and that black tank should’ve lasted us the whole trip. The refrigerated door wouldn’t stay closed. We had to tape it closed while we were driving or the food would fall out the door to the bedroom I had to repair myself. The latch was broken and it wouldn’t stay closed. The shower door was very hard to get on latched once it was closed and was falling out of the track. The only other TV we had was up in the bad area above the front seats and it swung around so we could use it, but it was so small. It was useless. This is the fourth time I’ve rented from your company twice under a corporation in the San Fernando Valley and twice at the location in Riverside the other three times I rented they were class a coaches, they were in good shape and had no problems, but this class sea coach that I rented this time was just a piece of junk. It wasn’t well maintained. And I was very disappointed.

Traveling by RV was great. Whole family enjoyed it. Comfort, leisure, felt like a home on wheels. Can't wait for next family road trip
