Not looking for the company to mislead further by suggesting that they are sending me copies of European ratings docs. A reputable operation would have the standard ratings labels (recognizable by all) sewn into the pants. A reputable operation would not speak of military-grade polyester, it would again sew the standard ratings label right into the garment. The two pairs of pants I purchased are going into the round-file.

Very comfortable and stylish motorcycle pants, I love the fact that I can remove the kneepads and they look like regular jeans when walking around off the bike. They are sold as wind proof and waterproof, but finally rain season has hit and I could watch water absorb into the material through my long underwear underneath, and to my underwear. It wasn’t a powerful rainstorm, simply a steady drizzle on a full fairing motorcycle. Windproof is certainly not up to par either as wind goes right through the pants just like water.

I would avoid them or certainly if thinking of buying them, take a shower in them and see how poorly they repel water.

This is my 2nd review of Ekon. After my last negative review, some “Olivia” said “all the back & forth on returns” should not have happened.” That she would personally follow through to make this right. Well guess what? The original snooty Ashley gets back to me. Not Olivia. Ashley who has been snooty all along. Again she mentions it should have been shipped back to China, blah blah, right back with same crud she was saying the whole time. Not acknowledging in fact I returned it to one of their locations.
Now, she asks me to withdraw the dispute with my credit card and they would immediately process a refund. So they say…..Of course I said no way. The bank had already given me provisional credit. For me to withdraw that would put me past the dispute period if I needed to file that again if they failed to process the refund. And also I can’t do that, there is no trust factor associated with these flakes.
My bank did make the provisional credit permanent. So the reason I’m posting this the second time is because they lied and failed to do what they said they would do in their response to my first review.
Again, you’ve been warned……. Take heed.

Their Return policy requires you to ship items back to China at your expense.
Sizes are WAY off. Materials are not as claimed.
Going to have to eat this one.

I guess I'm problaly the first that has fallen with those pants and I'm good haha!! Just some bruises on my arm and hands but the pants look like new, feels like the pads absorbed everything. I guess the crash test is validated haha. Cheers

If I could give them zero stars, I would.
I'll try to be concise here:
1. Sizing was 2 sizes off.
2. They do not offer exchanges only returns to a china address. See bullet point number three.
3. If you're going to return, don't bother. Buyer pays shipping costs on returns. You'll spend more on shipping than on the pants.
4. When I complained abkut the size, they offered me a gift card for my trouble. When the gift card never arrived, I asked why and they said that promotion had expired and I was up the creek without a paddle.
5. Long shipping time, china to US
6. No tele support, email only
7. Non US made

I could go on, but I don't think I need to.

Ditched the jeans over some roadarmor pants and believe it or not it was the best decision of my life. I'm 72 years old and still feel like I'm 22 but actually I realized that I wasn't anymore. Protect yourself people.

Received my pants in the UK. Very nice quality and affordable price. 4 stars because I received the wrong color at first and had to wait to receive the correct one. Customer service was very good tough

I ordered EKON Touring Protective Riding Boots for $100. Basically a $20 pair of ugly sneakers with NO PROTECTION. It's is entirely soft synthetic material with not toe, foot, or ankle protection whatsoever. It also took almost 2 months to arrive from the sweatshop in China. Junk. Do not buy

Amazing customer service, returned my roadarmor pants to their new US warehouse without any issue. Ashley should get a raise, every email responded in less than 24 hours. I also appreciate the fact that ekon is always trying to improve and satisfy their customers. I see that they improved their waterproof feature on the pants and also the fact that they opened a new US warehouse for returns says a lot about them. They really care about their customers. Maybe they struggled a lot in the beginning with the negative reviews ive been reading but who doesn't. Thanks ekon and keep up the good work. cheers - Jake

My wife and I received our pants last week and took or first ride last weekend. The pants fit great and were super comfortable on and off the bike. Plenty of ventilation and padding.

I love their new pants, the new size fits perfectly now since the previous one was a bit shorter behind. Will definitely order another pair for my wife as well. Ashley was amazing as well. Amazing customer service! Thanks ekon

The advertisement said the pants were waterproof they are not the Vedic shoes pouring water from a water hose they do not shed water. Company support is terribly. It takes to long to receive your order and costs way to much to return them. I bought a jacket from EKON and went by the sizing guide and the jacket was 2 sizes too small. The cost to return the jacket was almost 70 dollars. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Total scam. Ordered some motorcycle pants which was not cheap I should add and it is absolute crap. Shame on me for not checking reviews on them before I ordered. Don't make my mistake.

I been wearing the Ekon riding pants for the last few months. They are good quality, fit perfect and have a lot of pockets which are well placed and useful. They are as comfortable as a pair of jeans on hotter days.

I had reservations when I read that these pants were made of polyester. I am 70 years old and I’ve spent my life avoiding polyester, but they’re armored and there was a sale, and I took a chance. They were delivered in just a few days, but stayed in a drawer until the summer heat wave broke and we had a couple of cooler days to ride. And wow, these pants are comfortable, and when it rained hard in the middle of a 300-mile ride they did shed a fair amount of that rain, although they aren’t exactly rain gear. They dried quickly when the rain stopped, and I was sold. And comfortable. I may be old and a little fragile, but I try to make up for that with protective gear. I like Ekon’s people and their product, and I’ll be back.

Sturgis and summer approved. Amazing pants for long rides especially for the hot weather right now.

I messed up my order because I chose the wrong size. Contacted ekon about this and they changed my order promptly without any issue. Very professional

What an Ordeal dealing with a Made in China Product.
If I had known I would have bought a Name Brand Riding Pant with Certification Tags so I actually know i’m going to be safe. Riding Safely is the reason I purchased these Riding Pants.

I bought these riding pants because of their return policy that states they will make if right. FREE size exchange ZERO RISK.
Well the cost of shipping back to China is more than the $180 cost of the pants.
I used their sizing chart and the pants I received fall off me they are sizes to big.
They will not exchange then.
ZERO RISK RIP OFF.
Now I'm stuck with Chinese Junk and out $180.
