I have two 6month Basset Hounds and love Durham's foods... you get what you pay for with any Raw food so don't expect the finest meats available to mankind. I do add some cooked mixed vegs which would be great if they started to add this into the mix. The bone content good (small bits). Great delivery, but all comes in cardboard boxes so its a rush to get it all in the freezer.

We have been using these guys to feed our Vizsla since he has been on solid food. Prompt delivery, quality product and reasonably priced. Our dog loves his food and we constantly get told how good he looks.
Would recommend their service.

The great thing about Daf is that they deliver weekly in my area!... However any greatness atm stops there!

With two dogs and 3 cats on raw diets it speaks volumes when all five of them would literally go hungry rather than eat most of Daf minces.

The chinks used to be great quality, the chicken filets for example were nice lean chicken fillet chunks, but for a year now there’s literally more fat than meat and the chunks are loads of small bits probably off cuts from carcass which are pressed together. Unfortunately a lot of the chunks and products in general are now of extremely poor quality. I feed my animals a raw diet because I want them to find fulfilment in their food, and to eat the best best possible diet, not cubes of chicken fat....

Final issue is regarding refunds and complaints, you will not get a reply via email, and you are fobbed Off with lies if you call them. I noticed some one here said they had success via social media, so that’s deffo my next move.

I have been ordering for just under 1 year and have had excellent service. I am in Scotland and have had great frozen delivery service free of charge. I have 3 dogs and initially only fed my spaniel raw as he has seizures, but my other 2 were so jealous so all 3 now eat the raw food.

Recommend. Never had any problems with DAF. Customer service is good - they are a friendly bunch. If they happen to not have a product in stock, that I've ordered, they have notified me and delivered it free of charge the following week. Food quality has always been good and the dogs like everything: mince, bones, heart, offal etc.

I ordered from here for my dogs raw food for just over 12 months. In that time I had 3 foriegn bodies in 3 seperate orders. 2 x wesson clips, and blue plastic. Each time they ensured it wouldnt happen again. Be very careful with minces and tripe as I picked them apart (thank god) after the first incident. All very nice and apologetic but naturally staff and directors would be. After complaining via social media, the 1st time, as emails and phone calls had no response, the director contacted me via Instagram. Be very very careful and pick all food apart if you use this company

Don't know about the company as I bought DAF pet food from local pet store.

My dog will eat ANYTHING., and I mean anything, any brand of raw or home made raw diet, anything! .she is 6 years old and been raw fed since birth. She will not touch the DAF?

Left her a few days and tried the DAF again. She obviously feels there is problem with the food. Don't know if it is just this batch, but a friend has also said her dog has a problem with the DAF.

Shame as I bought quite a lot and now I have to chuck it.

Very reliable and helpful company. My only negative critism is that the chicken and tripe has sharp little bones in it, thankfully we realised before giving it to our young puppies. Should of really of been informed of this on website as some of the little bones were really sharp.

5 stars: Excellent – no reservations, I would recommend this company to anyone. great delivery service, on time (and i'm in scotland) , great website and ordering system and a nice touch with the automatically generated PDF invoice/ receipt. great idea of being able to add to order after purchase and add comments/ delivery advice.

I count myself very fortunate that i discovered a sharp fragment of a metal
substance before feeding it to my dog with unimaginable circumstances!
Also lead shot. No mention of fur inclusion. Unacceptable poor quality,not fit to be fed and i immediately threw the consignment out at considerable cost, but nothing compared to killing my own dog! !
No response from company by way of an apology, a refund of the order would of been something but i just feel so fortunate that i found it early on in order, and i want to share this bad experience.

I've ordered from DAF a total of ten times since July 2014 with very few problems, and when there have been problems this has been sorted out promptly every time.

The problems I have ran into with DAF is every time I have ordered something that is a bit "different", like heart chunks or spleen for example. They have either not arrived on delivery day because of no stock - which I have never been notified about beforehand and not refunded until I queried it myself with their Customer Service department - or if the specific item has not been in stock I have just been given something different without being asked or told and only find out once I've opened the packages, which again causes a bit of hassle contacting their CS department to fix this.

The other problem I have had more than once is my order never arrived on their stated delivery day, however again after querying with them over the phone I was told either my package was put on the wrong delivery van or it wasn't ready on time, and then they sent out my order via next day UPS for free.

My main issue is the fact that each time there has been a problem I have never been contacted and I have been left to contact them myself. Overall a great company but for my last four orders I have avoided ordering anything except the frozen meat blocks that I have never had a problem with & is the food that my dog has lived on for the last 14 months since discovering DAF.

Ordered a few times now after ordering from another company and our order being wrong last few times. Daf are loads better. If they don't have something in stock they will send alternitave and the driver will let you know so if you want to keep it or not, rather then just saying its out of stock and theyl send it next time. Much better!. They offer free delivery once a month which is fab for us. Dogs love the food. Any problems and they sort it out as soon as you get in touch, fab staff. I will be ordering from them each time from now on.

I am very fussy about what I feed my dogs, and have spent ages getting the balance just right. I was really pleased when I found DAF Petfoods as they have a great selection of frozen raw food, for reasonable prices. I have placed a couple of orders, and both have arrived on the day they said it would, and delivered by their own nice friendly drivers. The quality is great and the mince comes in 1lb bags which is great for me as it's easy to share between my two dogs for each meal. They have a nice variety, and seasonal things. I tend to bulk out the order with fish and poultry, and then add a few interesting extras. Some things are not for the faint hearted, but the dogs love it! I'll be back again when we need some more.
