Castle Water take no regard for the…
Castle Water take no regard for the wishes or needs of their customers and circumstances which have arisen which has delayed payment of invoices. Interest and charges, sometime hefty charges are added to accounts which are way more than the actual outstanduing charges.

Excellent problem solving
Made the mistake of entering the wrong meter reading. Phoned and very quickly got a very helpful response. The kind young man sorted the problem very quickly and didn’t criticise me even though he was fully entitled to do so!

The Castle Water Customer Services are…
The Castle Water Customer Services are exceptionally good (in this case Melissa)
I have had a number of issues with Castle Water back office services which has necessitated me to phone CS more than I would have wished. It also usually takes a while to get through. However, once you do, they try to be as helpful as they possibly can. Back office has improved but still has a little way to go eg regularity of bill receipt. Seems to vary for no particular reason.

Awful company
Awful company. Cancelled our direct debit without telling us, no communication since then about the cancellation. 10 months later we get a debt recovery letter trying to charge us over £1,000 for 10 months of missed payments of £38/month. Incredibly, the debt recovery company has the means to get in contact with us but Castle Water was somehow unable to notify us about any of this before going to debt recovery.
