It is an international platform which ensures the widest base available, but it also makes it susceptible to scammers from certain countries and groups. Zero cost to private sellers and collectors is an excellent base, leaving the site to earn money from advertisers. Unless you need a very quick sale in which case the auction option is available but it does substantially inflate the price of what you are selling!

My 1936 Triumph T90 was advertised for 4 weeks.
My 1936 Triumph T90 was advertised for just on a month during which time I was in correspondence with 2 people who were just asking questions and a third person who turned out to be a serious buyer. The advert had over 950 views so it was obvious that Carandclassic had wide and effective coverage.
All communications from prospective buyers were efficiently handled by Carandclassic and I am very happy with the whole experience.

The website was easy to navigate and place my advert. The advert looked good on the website and resulted in a sale. The message service for enquiries worked well and was easy to use. It was easy to monitor interest in the car from the data provided showing views and watchers. It was easy to edit the advert as necessary. I used the free service to achieve a successful sale.

First time around the buyers did not…
First time around the buyers did not complete the sale and it had to be re-listed. The Payout was slow and it took over a week.
Ed Spence got it sorted for me and was very helpful in securing the deal, if it was not for Ed's efforts I would be considering whether or to list with C&C again!
