Having a customer manager is a good thing. I got great help and information from Sam Neill before and during the auction.
The photographer (Scott L.) was on time, friendly and talented.
They made the whole process easy.
The escrow service for payment after the auction worked flawlessly.
Only reason I didn't give five stars is that C&C are expensive and we had some hick-ups getting the text for the listing sorted.

Keen on bidding on a car, but red flags not addressed.
Keen on bidding on a car, however it was sold at the previous weeks auction and now back on again.
I posted a comment asking why this was, is there something wrong with the car, only to have my comment deleted - twice!
Poor going.

I decided to sell my AMG Mercedes on…
I decided to sell my AMG Mercedes on C&C as I felt the other options were not best suited to achieve the maximum for the sale. I made an enquiry and Liam contacted me for my information and explained the process. The professional photographer helps as it really highlights the condition whether good or bad. Which does not make the buyer experience any surprises when collecting the car. The advert was detailed and have the options to make changes to ensure you’re happy with it before the listing starts. I had Liam's number and was able to contact him if I had any questions etc. the questions were easy to answer through the App. As the listing was nearing its end Liam reached out to me to discuss options with regards the reserve etc.. the car met the reserve and the buyer made contact. Collection was easy as the buyer had all the information through the detailed advert. The payment was in C&C account and once we both confirmed the car had been collected, the payment was made to my account. The vetting is good as it ensures buyers and sellers are serious. Thanks for making the process so easy.

I have just had a terrible experience…
I have just had a terrible experience selling a car via this auction site ; we agreed a reserve which they then wanted to reduce 10 minutes before end of auction ; they then agreed a sale below reserve , without my approval ; their commission ; buyers and sellers will account for around 30% of the sale price of the car ; I would seriously avoid them
All they want is their commission AVOID
Still to be resolved; i will keep you updated

We’re sorry to hear you’ve been unhappy with the experience, although there are a couple of points in your review that we’d like to clarify.
The reserve can be reduced during an auction in accordance with the terms agreed when listing the vehicle. Importantly, this does not mean the seller has to accept less than their agreed net amount. Where the reserve is reduced to help facilitate a sale, Car & Classic absorbs the difference in commission so that the seller receives the same amount they originally agreed to.
This is intended to give the seller the opportunity to complete a sale while ensuring they are not financially disadvantaged by the reduced reserve. We’re currently reviewing the wider situation with you directly and hope we can resolve any remaining concerns.

An excellent experience from start to finish.
Selling a car of this age and history is quite an emotional and, at times, daunting process, but Car & Classic made the whole experience remarkably straightforward. From the initial advertising and presentation of the car through to the auction, sale and handover, everything was handled professionally.
A special mention must go to Sam Neill, whose support and guidance throughout the process was exceptional. He was always helpful, patient and reassuring, and took the time to explain what was happening at each stage. Having someone available who genuinely knows the process made a big difference, particularly when dealing with an international buyer and the practicalities of payment and collection.
The communication from the Car & Classic team was excellent, and I always felt that the transaction was being handled securely and professionally.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Car & Classic to anyone looking to sell a classic or enthusiast car. A very positive experience, made even better by the excellent support from Sam and the team.

Warning, avoid ads 'With Limited Time' on it.
Very arrogant or in efficient consultants at Car & Classics.
Made twice an offer on a car, with the ad having the words "Limited Time " on it.
There is clearly no rush at all, as I wrote 4 emails, NEVER received a response.
This is a warning to anybody wanting so sell a car and intend using Car&Classic as an intermediate, DONT.
They are an impediment to a quick sale.
Warning to buyers, if you see an ad that has written on it " Limited Time", and you have to make an offer, DON'T bother, there is plenty time, and you won't get a response anyhow!
