Overseas shipments NOT recommended.

I have ordered tea and marmite to be shipped to Denmark.
Ordered 30 January, 25 February it is delivered to DK terminal for me to pay VAT which I have done.

It is ending up being very very expensive tea. I would not recommend buying from here for DK.

Placed an order January 30th and still haven’t received anything. When searching the tracking number it says the package was delivered Wednesday but I haven’t received anything. My daughter was home all day and no one has been by with a delivery. Tried reaching out to the customer service which says they will try to reply within 48 hours. Still haven’t heard from them. It was a rather expensive order so really not ok.

Everything went smoothly and from ordering until delivery it took only one week!!!! Great!!!! Thank you

Im Januar bestellt, irreführende Tracking. Bis heute keine Ware erhalten, Kundenservice antwortet nicht auf Mails. Sehr enttäuschend.

Ordered for over £75 almost a month ago. Still have not received anything. Have written an email twice to no avail. No reply, no information. No phone number to be able to contact direct. Extremely disappointed.

Quick and efficient and DHL are the best.

Placed my order on 27th Jan... took nearly a month to arrive. No response to any of my previous messages received enquiring on the status, as the tracking information was next to useless. To accept the parcel I had to pay €14.41 in taxes and duties. The promise of a DDP delivery and that all taxes and duties are taken care of and no hidden surprises upon delivery is simply not true! Awaiting a response to my last email (sent today 21.02.) concerning a refund for the additional hidden costs...

Order duplicated by error and refused to cancel and refund. Delivery time three weeks and counting. Customer service very poor. No telephone number for customer service

I love Cardini's Ceasar dressing and it is not in any of the supermarkets. Going through British essentials, I have been able to purchase this great product.

I ordered a product online and the shipping charge had a note that said "no additional charge" so I thought that shipping charge reflected total product cost. However, the shipping cost was literally more than the product itself. I emailed immediately after to request the product be canceled and no one responded - and they charged me the full amount, shipping + product. Ridiculous! They should have had the courtesy to respond to email.

Fast service; everything was as I ordered it. Also, expiration dates were well in advance which is something I greatly appreciated! Would definitely order from here again

Absolutely loves it. My son is gaining healthy weight which is a plus. I would have ordered more giving the benefit I am getting from it but this order took forever to get here. I am in a dilemma right now

Basically a scam company that forced a subscription hidden in the fine print and placed purchases for you, charges you and then doesn't help with a return/refund on something they unethically sneaks in to trick people.

Such a shameful practice and way to conduct yourselves as a business knowing full well 99.9% of people don't read the entirety of the fine print and hides things in it in a mountain of legal/corporate terminology. And takes advantage of this fact and exploits unsuspecting consumers due to greed.

And upon opening a dialogue with the company asking for help and retrun/refund. They offer no help or solutions. They just say "nothing can be done", e.g. their intent is to scam you of whatever they can since they don't even try to offer a solution or anything else that would help the customer.

DISGUSTING!

This company tryed to flagged my experiance and review as containing defamatory content. Thank the Lord that #TrustPilot still holds a firm belief in the 1st amendment, helps the customers have a voice, and I thank TrustPilot for it.

Additionally;
It should be noted that British Essentials appears to remove negative reviews from its own website. I submitted a review there and was able to see it published by the end of the day yesterday. However, when I revisited the site today, the review had been removed without explanation.

This raises serious concerns about transparency and credibility—particularly given that the site currently shows a significant number of low-rated reviews (60 two-star and 183 one-star at the time of writing). It will be telling to observe how these numbers change in the coming days.

Engaging in such practices reveals a troubling lack of openness and accountability, and further undermines trust in the company’s stated values.

Received broken bottles of Gaviscon Advance that I ordered. Reached out to British Essentials multiple times asking for a refund and all that I received was automated emails saying that they received my email and they'd be in touch within 48 hours. I sent pictures of the completely oversized and damaged box and also the broken bottles. No response at all. Shameful.

The quickness and communication with the company

All products arrived in good shape, with best quality.

My delivery was help up for about 15 days. Not the fault of anyone. Just received it today, and it’s so well packaged even the first Bourbon wasn’t broken! Love this company and this is my second order, and without question won’t be my last. Very competitive pricing. Thank you! I’m one happy bunny. Now I just have to hide it all from my teenagers!

First order no problem everything was delivered with short delay but it was in run up to Christmas so no worries. Second order however a few problems. 3 boxes delivered fine. 1 box only had 2 items instead of 4. Other 2 packages have not been delivered even though received email to say they had. Tried to contact by phone but no response. Email sent and no reply. Another email sent today.

Delivered my coffee quickly on the date predicted in a small town 7 hours drive from Sydney!!

Everything I ordered arrived on time and in perfect condition. It was a Christmas gift to myself, and it was wonderful that it arrived when promised. I will definitely buy from British Essentials again!
