Disaster
I am so disappointed in the service from this company. After more than 40 days I have not received the goods I ordered and become emails stating my goods have been delivered or delayed. I have requested repayment but have had no reply. This is a company not to be trusted and I would definitely not recommend them to my ex pat friends. Patrick Hammond. Germany

Everything went wrong
The reason why I even made the order from British Essentials was that I wanted to buy the shortbread tea, which had been gifted to me some time ago, and I loved it!!! The order was delayed in customs; it took over a month to arrive. I was deliriously happy to receive the package today. The tea I
I've received a normal English tea, gold label. I don't like black tea; I only drink Earl Grey, but whatever. I checked the order; the shortbread tea became normal tea. I bought a couple of other things I didn't really need for a total of €56..
I am so disappointed. I could buy black tea anywhere. Campbell's tomato soup anywhere, baked beans 220 g anywhere!! All I wanted was shortbread tea!!!!!!!!

• I would not have placed the order without that product.

Non receipt of order
I have a similar experience to a previous reviewer. If I could give zero stars to customer services I would. I placed an order on the 30th January and received nothing. According to tracking information my delivery was immobile for a long time in a Royal Mail office and then it popped up in a Royal Mail DO in Essex. Only to be shown within hours as having been delivered to me in the SW of France, a physical impossibility. At great expense, a waiting time of 30 minutes, I contacted Royal Mail to be told that the parcel had been returned to sender. I have contacted customer services six times and have yet to receive the courtesy of a single reply apart from automated ones. It really is about time that they pulled themselves together. In the meantime they have my money.
