I had an issue with my Brita water tap…

I had an issue with my Brita water tap as the light indicator stopped working.

I contacted customer services and spoke to a representative called Babs. She immediately took ownership of the issue and ensured she communicated with me throughout the issue.

REALLY impressed with Brita customer services and I would high recommend their products.

The 'replace filter indicators' for both my Russell Hobbs/Brita filter kettles had stopped working some time ago and I was having trouble finding replacements. Russel Hobbs directed me to Brita and they immediately sent me a couple of replacements.

Received Used Item Twice – Very Disappointing Experience with BRITA

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience purchasing the BRITA Cube Ambient & Hot Water Dispenser Black (4.0L).

The first unit I received had visible water droplets at the water outlet when I unboxed it, which clearly indicated prior use. I was shocked to receive what appeared to be a used item instead of a brand-new product. Out of trust in the BRITA brand, I assumed it was an honest mistake, returned it, and ordered a replacement.

Unfortunately, the replacement unit was also clearly not new. The packaging and instruction manual showed obvious signs of being previously opened or used, and there was still water at the outlet. This strongly suggests that I was sent a returned or used item for the second time.

We contacted Brita UK by email, but their response was that since the product was sold on Amazon, it had nothing to do with them. This lack of accountability from such a well-known brand is extremely disappointing.

Receiving used products twice in a row has seriously damaged my trust in BRITA and in the reliability of their sales channels. I expected much better quality control and customer care from a brand with such a strong reputation.

I would not recommend this product or purchasing experience unless BRITA addresses these serious quality and handling issues.

It’s also important to clarify that products sold and fulfilled through Amazon are handled by Amazon’s logistics network. This means that returns, replacements and the condition of the item when shipped are managed by Amazon, not BRITA directly.

Brita's customer service…

I contacted Brita's customer service because the memo indicator on the top of my water filter stopped working. It's a sealed unit, so I can't replace the battery, and they sent me a replacement—great service and really simple.

The Memo Indicator on the jug needed replacing as the battery had run out.I contacted Brita on Tuesday and the lovely Laura arranged for a replacement indicator to be sent to me,which arrived today Thursday.

Great support!

Reached out to support as the indicator on my water filter's batteries had started fading. They replied letting me know that a (free!) replacement was already enroute to me and that I should dispose of my existing one via battery recycling. Thanks Brita!

Water volume indicator battery replacement …

The lid volume indicator battery ran out on the water jug. Sent Brita an email to request a replacement and had a response within 24hrs. The replacement arrived within 3 days. I've had 2 Brita water jugs and a kettle with a Brita water filter for many years. Over all this time I've had 3 free replacement indicators sent. Brilliant service.

Amazing customer service!

Filter loses effectiveness quickly

Initially, I was impressed with the water’s taste change. Filtered water was still hard having a lot of limestone, but the taste was good. However, just soon after a week of usage by one person, I’ve noticed that the water started to taste bad again. Apparently, the filter ran out of capacity very quickly. I can feel the taste of plastic pipes and chlorine in my tea now, that’s why I returned to buying bottled water. It is very ineffective and expensive, I cannot replace such an expensive filter 3 to 4 times a month. I live in Murcia, Spain, if that matters.
