Filter loses effectiveness quickly

Initially, I was impressed with the water’s taste change. Filtered water was still hard having a lot of limestone, but the taste was good. However, just soon after a week of usage by one person, I’ve noticed that the water started to taste bad again. Apparently, the filter ran out of capacity very quickly. I can feel the taste of plastic pipes and chlorine in my tea now, that’s why I returned to buying bottled water. It is very ineffective and expensive, I cannot replace such an expensive filter 3 to 4 times a month. I live in Murcia, Spain, if that matters.

Great customer service

Great customer service. I had a query about why there is water inside the Brita filter packet when I open a new one. They wrote a really good email reply within a day, explaining that this is sterile water from steam sterilising the contents before ceiling, so there is no way of it growing mould

We use the filters, no problems, taste is good and reduces limescale in kettle

Needed a replacement water filter battery indicator - was a bit surprised that the battery cannot easily be change. But easily registered product and replacement arrived free of charge and on time. Excellent service

Replacement Sensor

The water purity sensor in my Brita Active plus water filter tap had stopped working. Contacted Brita and spoke to a service Rep called Stephen. As the sensor wasn't his area he forwarded my enquiry to the right team and a Rep called Babs contacted me. She confirmed that the sensor wasn't working and has sent me a replacement free of charge. Great customer srevice all round.

I HAVE HAD MY BRITA WATER JUG FOR QUITE A FEW YEARS AND I KNOW THERE ARE MORE RECENT MODELS, BUT DESPITE THIS BRITA WERE ABLE TO REPLACE THE INDICATOR BUTTON WHICH SHOWS WHEN THE FILTER NEEDS CHANGING; FOR FREE!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Aluna is useless

My girlfriend bought me the Aluna, you have to remove the entire top every time you refill it, so won’t be having it it’s going back to the shop.
You should fire the person in design who developed it, totally useless.

The Aluna is our entry model and it doesn’t include a flip‑top filling flap—it needs the full lid removed to refill. If an easy one‑hand fill is important to you, we’d recommend our Marella, Style or Glass model jugs, which do have a flip‑top lid for quick refilling.

Around the edge of the memo is a small indent designed to help lever out the old memo. Just use a flat head screwdriver and prize it out.

The Replacement Cartridge fits after all

I previously posted that my replacement BRITA cartridges did not fit my jug.
I was wrong. They do. There was an attachment in my jug preventing the placing of the replacement cartridge.
BRITA responded to my original post suggesting I contact their Customer Services. I did. And after a few exchanges of emails they found the answer.
So I have amended my post and rating. It is now 5 stars.
