The ultra recovery converter works great! I have access to one of my hard-drives. I Can't access the second one due to incorrect operating system (Linex) but that is not the Converter's fault... the whole setup is slick... plug and play for SATA to USB 3.0.

Missing order
I'm waiting on my order going on 3 weeks for VHS,VHR & DVD digital converter. Order #106296 when I try to track it the order can't be found. My first order with Zilkee arrived within 5-7 days so what's up with my missing order.

I apologize for the delay and the inconvenience it caused. Our warehouse in Swannanoa was affected by the flooding in NC and was down for a couple weeks, which delayed a lot of shipments. We're back up and running now but are still catching up. Thank you for understanding!
It's not worth it
It's not worth it. I have tried this external CD/DVD device on three different computers, and it's still not working. It's very frustrating, and I haven't been able to access my data. I will return it and not buying any other product from this site.

Ordering was easy
Ordering was easy. The hard drive reader adapter worked easily. I had several old Apple desktop hard drives that I needed to view.!The Ultra Recovery Converter worked like advertised. It is a inexpensive straight forward solution to retrieve information on old hard drives

Dear Rod, I apologize for the delay and any inconvenience. Our main warehouse is in Swanannoa NC and was affected by the flood. Mercifully no one was hurt and the place in intact, but shipments have been delayed because roads are washed out. We are shipping order from our overseas warehouse, but there will be some delays. If you can provide us your order info I'll check the status for you. Thank you for understanding.

I'm sorry you've had this experience. I'm not sure what you mean by "traditional support." We have a very small team, but we do offer support.
I was unable to match you to any info we have, so I'm not sure if you're referring to the right company.
No one has ever answered my phone calls…
No one has ever answered my phone calls to have a detailed informational conversation, which may encourage purchasing more of their products. The have never returned any of my voicemail messages either. Btw, their operating literature/instructions are overly simplistic and lacking important information.
Very poor business entity.

Decided to give them another try but alas still ended in disappointment
Product doesn't work.
Obtianed my Zilkee Recovery Docking Station yesterday and happily dismantled my old laptops and extracted the harddrives. Plugged both of them into the docking A and B slots and much to my dismay both slots did not show any attempt to read the product. Product simply does not work. This is my second time trying products from Zilkee, the first being the its PC to PC USB Dual link Transfer device which breaks the connection halfway through the transfer. Also when you choose UK plug adaptor, they just provide you with a universal type adaptor rather that an actual UK plug.

Don't try to return anything
Don't try to return anything. They fight you tooth and nail. Save your time and sanity.
And their website is misleading about what their product actually does. Basically it says it works with all drives and that is simply false. It only works with IDE and SATA. Not SSD.

It hasn't done what was advertised!
I ordered the device on the understanding that it would retrieve files/data from the SATA HDD that I had removed from an old laptop. The advert assured me that, if the device failed to do what was expected of it, it could be returned for a full refund.
It arrived yesterday and I quickly set it up as per the instructions. The message on the screen was "D:\ is not accessible. Access is denied."
I did not understand, but immediately contacted the company and requested the refund. The reply was prompt, but not encouraging. I have been asked for "OS of your monitor and drive please.
So I can escalate the matter to our tech team for solutions."
I shall send this info, but am not very hopeful!
The update is that the company were then most unhelpful. In spite of the advertised "Satisfaction or money back", I was informed that this only applied if "the item cannot be repaired or replaced." Since it didn't work, that seemed pointless. I was sent a link to a download that worked - but I didn't need their gadget! I was also expected to post it, from the UK to the States at my own expense!
I have now recorded a video that they will probably never show! I will not buy anything from this company ever again and plan to take the matter up with my local Trading Standards Office, and the ASA.

You have received a full refund.
However, per your email and video you sent us, the device does work, you just didn't need it because you happened to have a connector already. That's very different than the product not working.
With that said, the team should have refunded you without the shipping hassle, and I apologize for that.

I downloaded the app but I have not been able to establish any prompt to back anything up. This is a scam and I would like to just get my money back. I could not find an address to send this "device" back to vendor
