The delivery company was horrible

The delivery company was horrible. They left the package at the front the gate. Anyone coming by could have pick it up and taken it. You need to change or ask the buyers how and they should deliver the items.

Proud purchaser of three Zilkee devices!

I do use six Apple-based devices (2 each of MBPs, iPads, and iPhones! Regrettably, my plan to migrate from my 2012 MBP to a newer 2017 version remains not yet completed!
Hence, I suspect that I will be employing one or more of your devices to assist in the endeavour!

The product I purchased is a USB 3.0 to SATA & IDE Hard Drive Converter, the product is easy to use,compact and durable.

I recently purchased a product from Zilkee.com, the product I purchased was as advertised, the delivery time was good, the product worked very well, and the cost of the product was good . I am genuine when I say this product does what the company advertises.

This lot are not even worthy of 1 star, the goods are useless and not fit for purpose. They hold you ransom to paying to return the item to the US, at our cost, what a rip off..

What's the point? It does nothing, finds nothing, shows nothing. I followed the instructions to the letter, used four different hard drives and found fk all. What a waste of money.

I received one unit

I received one unit, then 1 week Later I received a 2nd unit. I have requested a return label for 2 weeks and still they are got me waiting for it.

This is a $20 piece of hardware…

This is a $20 piece of hardware available nearly anywhere, and does not do recovery or backup of any kind - it just turns an internal hard drive into an external one. They've been available for decades.

Since the company rep keeps asking where people got the idea that they won't do returns, here's the relevant section from their website:

"Our Returns Policy

Our policy lasts 90 days. If 90 days have gone by since you have received your item according to your tracking number, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. You must reach out with an inquiry within this time window to be eligible for a return or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refunds (if applicable)

Refunds are only available if the item is unable to repaired or replaced, the 90 days returns period covers defective and damaged products. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind.

If you do need a replacement arranged, please contact us at *email redacted*
and we will be happy to arrange this for you."

They're getting that idea from you, because it's what you say on your website. The device must be unused to be returned, and refunds are only available if it cannot be replaced or repaired. Hope that clears things up for you

Hi "Pissed customer." We've asked you to verify your order details to verify that you are in fact a customer and so that we can address the issue, but you have declined to do so. It's pretty wild that so many people use reviews as their primary method of contact rather than having the decency to reach out directly and give us the opportunity to help.

There is a limitation on the written return policy to prevent frivolous or fraudulent returns, which is a common problem for online merchants. However, anyone who has actually contacted us with a problem knows that if you aren't happy with the device we refund you.
So the people who have the experience you're referring to are those who choose to use reviews as their primary form of contact instead of having the decency to reach out to us directly to resolve it.

As for the device, it does exactly what it says, i.e., allows you to retrieve data from an old hard drive and put it on a new device. That is why 99.9% of our customers buy it, and they're happy with it. That's also exactly what it says in the product description. Every once in a while someone thinks it does something else and then flies into a rage on a review site.

RE the price, companies have expenses like payroll and rent and shipping and advertising and a hundred other things, and so yeah, we can't sell it for cost. So I guess, you got us? Should we should be working for free and not bother trying to put food on the table?
If you think our margins are so great, then I would invite you to open a company and compete on price and rake in that difference. I think you'll quickly discover the truth of the matter.

I'm sorry you didn't get what you were looking for and we'd be happy to refund you for your trouble, but we can't do that without any order info.

Bought a zilkee data recovery device…

Bought a zilkee data recovery device and set it up as instructed, didnt work, nothing happened. Tried it on two different pc's same crap. spoke to head office and they offered some more tips. Still nothing, said they would refund me, I told them to forget it. Lesson learned, never again for this worthless pile of trash.
