I came in as my phone stopped working and I needed a physical SIM for an old phone instead of an e-sim. I also had issues with my old phone number being transferred. Hannah was incredibly helpful and a joy to be around. She also helped give options for mobile routers and advised on my current data plan. For what was just a tech issue I came in for, I had a very good and funny experience with Vodafone and am more likely to shop here again.

I was attended by Gina who was an excellent assistant talked me through everything making my experience more enjoyable

I attended Vodafone York as I was having a problem with my phone. I spoke to April who agreed to take a look. April was amazing!!! She sorted the problem out! April was so friendly and helpful. She provided a level of customer service that was unbelievable. April is a credit to Vodafone and should be appreciated and recognised by her supervisors.

Friendly, clear and every helpful serviceman

I have been a loyal Vodafone broadband customer for the past two years and have always had great experiences with your customer service team — until now. Earlier today, I spoke with an adviser named Clarah, who handled my request in a very unprofessional way. She was unable to locate my new address and repeatedly gave the same response to different questions. When I requested to speak with a senior manager, she refused to escalate my call and instead implied that I was at fault for not being able to find the address.

Later in the evening, I received a call from someone who identified himself as a manager. Unfortunately, his approach was equally disappointing. Rather than listening to my concerns, he focused on closing my account and returning the router to Vodafone. He did not give me a fair chance to explain my issue and seemed more interested in defending the earlier adviser than resolving my problem.

After this experience, I contacted Sky Broadband, who were able to find my address immediately and have already scheduled my broadband installation within five working days. Their service was extremely professional and efficient — a stark contrast to the experience I had with Vodafone.

The internet signal has been dead all day across miles around Peterborough — absolutely pathetic service! You’re a joke of a company, from your clueless managers to your useless interns. It’s a national embarrassment that you’re even still in business. Hope you crash and burn — you’ve earned it.

Nothing short of faultless. Ellie and I think Gina (new recruit) were exemplary and really took their time to get the best deal and help my mother replace her Samsung phone. The changing of a phone is a big issue for my mother but their diligence made it so much easier and less stressful

Terrible customer service, they wont help with anything just endless pointless talk, even to change providers it takes me hours on the phone with Vodafone

Vodafone does not work and customer service are terrible. When I report a fault, they just try and upsell. Will move providers as soon as I can.

Absolutely appalling. Waited 3 weeks to get full fibre connected, took day off as 6 hour window. BT Engineer turns up, does the business, tells us that when the red light goes green later in the day on our box their work is done. Goes green later - no internet. Call Phoneyphone, Totally and utterly useless. "You'll get an update in 9 days". Call back next day talking total arse and claim will be update in 10 days. "unable to connect you to complains or a manager", but you'll get a callback". Some drone called back next day trotting out the same 10 day nonsense, no info, and answers, totallly evasive and refusing to answer straight questions. Still no internet. DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELF. Edit: As demonstrated by the absolute nonsense reply below which simply illustrates that the writer has absolutely no clue whatsoever, just like the other 3 people who spoke over the weekend - and still no internet - DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELF. Further update. Yet another week of no internet now passed, and nothing whatsover from these total and utter disgraceful idiots. Edit 3: 5 more days, still absolutely nothing, and total failure to respond the Resolver. So have saked them. Appalling company. AVOID VODAPHONE AT ALL COSTS IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU!

I’ve been with Vodafone for the past five years, and I can confidently say that Ellie is the best person who has ever helped us in-store.

We had an ongoing issue with our account our order was still open on the system, which stopped us from upgrading and getting better, cheaper options. We’d asked for help several times before, but no one could clearly explain what was wrong.

Then we met Ellie in the York store, and she was absolutely fantastic. She immediately identified the problem, took the time to explain everything clearly, and kept us updated throughout the entire process. She even messaged me several times during the week to update me on the progress of the disconnect/reconnect.

Ellie went above and beyond, and her professionalism and genuine care made such a difference. Thank you Ellie you’re a credit to Vodafone!

Hannah was really friendly and a bubbly personality had a service with a smile. Let me see the phone I was going to purchase before actually agreeing to it and was just great to have a conversation with.

Hannah at the branch in York city centre was fantastic. It was a complex enquiry that demonstrated her vast knowledge. She was patient with an excellent sense of humour. Can’t remember the exact date I came into the branch but just found the QR code and the excellent service remains very memorable
